July 18, 201114 yr you have to have a bit of a sixth sense. when you feel the boss is about to attack heavily you must rotate your party between the circles...i havent dont the boss in forever so i dont remember the particulars but that is the gist of the fight.
July 18, 201114 yr I've never told anyone this secret technique before, but since it's you I'll let you know. Before you fight the boss, you have to go to........youtube.
July 18, 201114 yr I used Tidus, Auron and Yuna and gave her an accessory with Null-Berserk. Then I just let them have at it and healed when necessary.
July 19, 201114 yr Have your characters spread out. There's a trick you can do apparently where you have your characters behind it, and each time you attack, it counterattacks in front of it, missing every time, that's not the trick, but supposedly there's a way to get it stuck so that it keeps counterattacking in front of itself, so you can attack all you want without worrying. I've never encountered this though. Beserkproof would definitely help... also, you can try some cheaper tactics, like adding 1 MP cost to a character, namely Lulu, and dualcasting ultima. If you have it, Tidu's quick hit can deal a lot of damage without letting the boss attack. I doubt you have it yet, but reraise can help you counter the constant dying at least one of your party members are experiencing. Also, summons, as far as I can remember, don't go on any of the platforms, so you can avoid stuff pretty easily that way too. A word of warning though. A boss after this one is MUCH harder than the spectral keeper. It's probably in your best interest to level up.
How do you defeat Spectral Keeper in Final Fantasy X?
