I notice when watching various television programs from the UK such as 'The Sarah Jane Adventures', 'Doctor Who' and others that the Televisions look old. They look bulky, (Or like old TVs) rather than the slim types we have in Australia and the U.S.

Really? Because to us, its the exact opposite? Well, not so much Australian shows, they're about the same in terms of quality, but American shows seem to be outdated for us. Maybe it has something to do with the different channels or something?

Its cause it's doctor who, they like to give a vintage feel to the show, i.e Sarah Jane's car is an old banger. I can't think of any other of our shows that have been broadcast overseas but rest assured pretty much all of us have flat screen tvs

I like the older tv's, we haven't switched to the new flatscreens yet and still have the t.v's that we bought like...10 years ago. One plus to the older t.v's is that they last a hell of alot longer than the spify new ones. xD

All my family has the new flat screen TV.

I have a TV from the late 80s!

Yeah, I've never seen a flatscreen in" Doctor Who". Even in 2012 they had big tvs.

It's weird to watch Doctor Who in flatscreen.

it's because all of the new slim ones were stolen during the london riots xD
