You realise that if USA goes "bankrupt" then the whole Western world is in a lot of trouble, including Australia.

Yes.

World's getting messed up. Judging by what history says, when something like this happens, some sort of war or something else like it will happen. Should be interesting.

World War III sadly.....

2012 = 100th anniversary of the Titanic crash.

And World War I's 100th anniversary is coming up.

...Nobody wants to hear how amazingly awesome and handsome your kangaroos are either..or how you ride inside their pouches to the supermarkets! Which you know, obviously you Aussies SO do that. pfft. Just like how us Texans ride horses....

Yep Australia is 100% care free and has no problems whatsoever.

Except slowly loosing all it's water, both for drinking and farming... which isn't too big a deal. Money is what keeps us going but who the hell needs water, and who the hell needs the countries giving Australia water?

Didn't you hear about all the flooding we had here in Australia?

We have plenty of water.

Yep, flood water completely contaminated with the pollutants it picks up is perfect for drinking and farming. Once you get passed the stomach bleeding it's not that bad.

Seriously, it floods practically every month here in the North East, you don't want to drink that water, even if it looks perfectly clean.

Why? If there was anything to be worried where I live I'd know.

Austrailia whether you would like to admit it or not has it's own share of problems. As with any country. America has economic troubles, Britain has civil unrest and Austrailia is fighting off environmental issues such as drought, flooding, and deforestation. While these may not seem like anything to worry about now they come into play in the future.

With Australia slowly becoming a major superpower, their population will expand, rapidly. With water shortages imagine the chaos that will occur when there isn't enough water to drink and use for crops. Austrailia may even have to go to war to obtain water ( as well as many other countries).

Austrailia's economy may collapse if deforestation and other destruction of habitats occur. The main reason tourist come to Australia is due to it's exotic and exclusive animals, plants, and environments. Without these there's not much reason to go to Australia. The cities may have some neat stuff but outside of a few monuments, there isn't much that set them apart from other cities. Tourism, believe it or not is huge to Austrailia's economy.

Point is, Australia has a bunch of problems too, and if everyone in your country has the same attitude as you, thinking everything is fine ( or simply refusing to accept there are issues that need to be addressed) then Australia is in a lot of trouble.
