I agree with Oishii. And yes, she had to go away. But she's going to come back in KH3D. If she doesn't, I'm suing Nomura. It's about time we started doing that.

She's a pretty dangerous puppet, though. I don't think Namine could keep her from absorbing memories again. She even leached some from Riku when she wasn't made for that purpose. And Xion wouldn't want to risk it either, being so much like our chivalrous Sora. But I'm sure she'll play a part in the series in the future.

Namine could manipulate sora's memories, not move them.

Xion was created from soras memories, that means if memories go back to sora, there is no xion. Also I don't think she has the power to take memories away from anyone except sora and his "friends", She didn't take the memories away from roxas to keep him around either.

It wouldn't work that way. Namine herself stated that Xion steals Sora's memories while she is chaining all of his memories together again. It would bring no point to doing so seeing how she would just end up stealing more memories from Sora. Besides, taking mmemories of Sora from Xion would mean taking away all the memoires of her own with Roxas and Axel.

I wouldn't really say that. She would pretty much be the same Xion we all know and love, only without Sora's memories if you think about it. Although it could mentally affect her and make her question more about herself and why she is losing more memories. So just keep it at that.

Don't see how it's even possible since Xion and Vanitas are gone. Right now from where things are looking, it seems impossible to bring them back.

Unless Xion was just a dream the whole time, Namine coulda just used her abilities and made it seen like Xion was real to Roxas, and since Axel is close to Roxas who is close to Sora, she could totally mix up his memories too.~ -slap- Nah, makes no sense. Woulda been cool though if Namine did pull an Inception on everyone, it'd raise her badass level a shit-ton. >xDDD

At the end of Re: coded Data Namine says that simply making Sora remember Xion and Namine will put and end to their hurt.

 

Somehow, I don't think Xion is coming back, she will simply be remembered.

If you played or watch a walkthrough of the game, you'd know she had to "return to Sora".

Well it works more like this.

Xion is built on Sora's memories. Like a tower of Lego.

Let's say the memories are the base of the tower. the first piece.

Remove it, boom. the whole puppet falls because she has no base to be alive from.

That's a basic way to explain it. The only way I could think of her coing back is maybe using the clonage system to somehow clone Sora's MEMORIES and have her built on that. Like what they did to Riku-Replica.

Because if she didn't disappear at the end of Days, the series would have even more plot holes than it already does.

no that would be impossible because soras memories created xion (her hole body looks and all) and for her to give them back, she would have to not exist.... ((Think of it this way. xion was a living imaginary friend that only sora could think of an create. she sense he created her, shes apart of him. in mind an body. so, in order for him to regain his memories back from her, he would need to take her hole being back to him. there for she does not exist... )) namine needed to put the memories some where so yea
