I vote Mac because it just seems nicer than Windows (I'm comparing it to Windows xP... I've never used Windows 7). It also has had a lot less problems in my experience.

But what I don't like is that there is a lot of PC-exclusive software that I can't get for Mac.

Same, same. All those other cool games and software that are kept off of Macs. ;_;

PC I've used them my whole life i dont intend to change.

PC. I grew up using Windows, so Macs completely confuse me. Also, Windows 7, that is excuse enough to prefer PCs (in my eyes anyway).

Mac all the way. No viruses and more apps and more speed and more ram and more badassocity.

PC, it's pretty much like Mac Now in Windows 7. All the features I like there are now in windows so I like it more. It's better for gaming and I'm used to it.

PC becuse it's more games on it

Must... resist... urge... to... write... essay... on... why... macs... suck... donkey... balls

I'll just break it down into a short list.

1. Everything you can do on a MAC can be done on a PC

2. Everything you can do on a PC might not work on a MAC

3. Macs are obsolete in 1 year

4. PCs are obsolete in 5 years

5. A 2000 dollar MAC has the hardware abilities of a 1000 dollar PC

6. PCs have all the programs

7. Macs don't have all the programs

8. Steve Jobs, former CEO and lead designer of Apple designed and programmed all his ideas on a PC

9. My fathers Macbook Air got a virus within the first week of usage, because Apple is so full of itself they said "DERP we don't need anti-virus" a virus that would be instantly deleted by a PC can cripple a MAC.

10. http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=macs_cant

It depends on the usage, pc for gaming, mac for anything else, I'd go with a pc desktop, and a mac laptop

macs cuz my dad has had his mac for 5 years and its only had a virus once

If you want to compare mac to windows xP, I would suggest comparing the model of mac released in 1998 with the xP(released in 2001), as they were released around the same time:

At the time the windows xP came out, the windows xP was better than the mac. comparing an outdated computer to a current one is the same thing as comparing the graphics from pong to the graphics from FFXIII.

Actually, a windows 7 gets as few viruses as a mac, you can definitely find a windows 7 that has more RAM than a mac, usually for less money, and macs are not any faster than windows.

macs cuz my dad has had his mac for 5 years and its only had a virus once

Windows 7s don't get very many viruses either.

i have a winodws and i sometimes get viruses ._.

PC, I've grown up with windows I know I can rely on it and if there is an issue it's easy to fix

PC, just because the market is better.

Mac covets its own technology. Your mac has a problem, you can't fix it yourself or buy the parts you need to replace. You have to take it to a Mac store and be at the mercy of whatever repair fee they charge.

PC is an open market with many companies competing with one another. That leads to companies trying to make better technology for lower cost so that you'll choose their products. You have more freedom if something were to go wrong on who to take it to, to replace parts yourself, ect. ect.

So yeah, I'll stick with PC ^^

i have a winodws and i sometimes get viruses ._.

Is it a windows 7? And did you get the viruses because of computer problems or because you were watching interracial gay zombie porn?

wait....THERE'S INTERRACIAL GAY ZOMBIE PORN?!!? WTF?!?!?!?

but yes its a windows 7 and its from computer problems :P

That's true, but I didn't explain exactly what I meant. When I got my Mac it was actually when most PCs were Vista (Windows 7 had just come out I think... but I'm sure my computer was around before Windows 7). Now I've heard nothing good about Vista but if I give it the benefit of the doubt I'll say it's equal to xP (which is contrary to nearly everything I've heard). So I was comparing it to xP, an operating system equivalent to the one at the time.

As for hardware, you can't compare a Mac to a PC because PCs are made by many different companies and each could be different. I'm sure you can find a crappy PC that's worse than a Mac and a good PC that's better than a Mac.

No offense but most of those aren't good reasons, and some aren't even true.

Name one that isn't true.

PC. I grew up with those things, and I have given Mac's a shot *since that's practically ALL they have in my college*. I do admit that they ran faster than my Windows laptop, but there's no friggin right-click on thos Mac comps! Why make my life more difficult!? D'8 And Mac's are SO friggin' expensive, I'd rather get a PC, I'm not looking for overly fancy comps with je ne sais pas ce quoi that can't handle like, half the programs a PC can. That'd be like buying the DDD game on its own, when you could've gotten the special edition for a cheaper price than the game alone. *that would be awesome......*

I'll prove all of these, because I have nothing better to do.

1. seriously, name one thing you can't do on a PC that you can do on a mac

2. Many PC games don't work on macs

3. The typical lifespan of a macintosh computer is about 6 moths-2 years http://en.wikipedia....ped_by_CPU_type

4. Windows 7, windows vista, and windows xP, were the only windows versions released between 2000 and 2010. That's a bit closer to 3.33 years for each version, but it's still a good point.

5. An alienware aurora R3($1,600) has close to the same tech specs as a Mac pro($2,500)

6. The only thing PCs don't have that mac has is photobooth. If it's really that important, go spend an extra 1,000 dollars to take pictures of yourself.

7. That's kinda the same thing as #6

8. That's basic logic, macs didn't exist until steve jobs designed them, so it would have been impossible to design them on a mac.

9. When you get a mac, it has no antivirus software, so while you're trying to find protection against viruses, a popup for interracial gay zombie porn might come up and cause you to get a virus.

10. Google "why macs are better than PCs" and google "why PCs are better than macs". There's more articles written by apple-heads because apple fans don't know how to shut up.

accidentally double posted, consider this deleted.

I'll prove all of these, because I have nothing better to do.

1. I can't

2. I know but it's not just games. Software developers make their stuff for the PCs first. Why? More people use PCs which equals more profit.

3. It's not just the lifespan, it's the fact that your Macbook 67 will be replaced by a Macbook 68 in 3 days. Cause Apple creates products faster than rabbits reproduce.

4. I was referring to how not only do the computer parts last longer, but how Windows changes less often and makes bigger changes in the time that it does. In other words you aren't due for an upgrade for a few years.

5. Alienwares are slightly less overpriced than a Mac. That's a poor comparison.

6. It's called a webcam and it cost 40 dollars.

7. Nope because we are talking about Macs in number seven.

8. Steve Jobs was in apple at the beginning, then he left, then he came back. Macs have always been with apple.

9. Hehe

10. hehe...he?

I know. What I meant by that was windows has only changed 3 times in an entire decade and mac changed 24 times. So mac fans have to either have enough money to get a new computer every 6 months, or be constantly obsolete, but windows users only need to upgrade every 3.33 years and sometimes you only have to spend 200 dollars for an update.

Name one that isn't true.

#6, if your saying that it doesn't have programs like word, powerpoint, excel, internet explorer, etc., you could also say that pc's don't have pages, keynote, numbers, safari, etc. Furthermore you can buy word, powerpoint, and excel for your mac. Honestly saying that pc's have all the programs that macs don't is not true.
