It's been confirmed before that once a person of strong nature loses their heart and becomes both a heartless and a nobody it is possible to bring them back if you destroy both their nobody and release their heart. This is apparently how Xehanort will be resurrected after Terra-Xehanort was consumed by darkness. That being said, if Riku and Sora and everyone else do manage to slay Xehanort, wouldn't the cycle just start over again?

You know I never thought of that it could be possible but there has to be a way to defeat him without him coming back right?

Why would Xeahnort become a Nobody and a Heartless again? If they kill him, he won't lose his heart.... He'll just... die.

I'm assuming they can manage to seal him away somehow .. I mean it is the keyblade.

I know but how and still they all these crazy ways in which he can come back. It's next to nothing in trying to kill someone in this game there's always a loophole that they can use to get back.

He would be whole again so if he lost his heart again he would become a nobody and heartless again

as long as sora and riku take him out before he has a chance to turn himself into a heartless it should be okay and he wont be able to return

No, I don't think he'll be able to return after he is defeated this time. There must be some rule that allows a person to only be capable of turning into a Nobody and a Heartless for once. Because, if there aren't, Xehanort just needs to be killed, without losing his heart. Just end his life like someone does in Real Life D; No ressurection, please!

No his heart is resting in Terra so it's not likely that he has a nobody but like I said there's a loophole for EVERYTHING in this game.

well there is that whole thing about "what if more than one xehanort were to come" too .. so by the end of kh3 some weird shit is going to be happening in these next 2 installments lol
