What do you think of the 3 shows? I've said before that I like all 3 Ben 10 shows, but they are not without their flaws. There are things I like and dislike about these shows. Here's what I think:

Ben 10:

One thing I can say I dislike about this show is that it had a lot of filler episodes, although it had the most enjoyable ones. I love running gags, so I liked the fact that Ben and Gwen always called each other "dweebs" and "doofus", Max's alien appetite, and Ben gaining new aliens. I hated it when the Omnitrix didn't work, especially on the episode he unlocked master control and lost it at the end of the episode. I hated that Kevin never learned his lesson until AF. I especially hated that some the best aliens: Benvictor, Benwolf, and Benmummy were only used once. Ben never seemed to go through a character arc. I liked how Gwen became more useful as the show went on by learning "magic". As for the live action movie, I liked it, though I hated that they teased us with aliens that they weren't going to put in the movie: Ben tried to use Four-Arms at the ice cream shop, but used Grey Matter, and how the Omnitrix messed up when he tried to use XLR8 to run from Eon, and how the movie retconned the show ending. I also hated that he only used FOUR aliens. On the 30 min. episode he got Cannonbolt, he used all of them, but for a 90 min movie, he only used FOUR? He also gained more aliens in this series than the others, and they were more unique. Whenever he learned a new alien, it was always epic, whereas in the newer shows, it was always," Hey, I learned a new alien, wonder what this one does", then for the rest of the episode, it didn't even matter. I also liked Eon.

Alien Force:

I liked the fact that they were older, but to skip ahead 5 years was a little drastic. I'm all for character arcs, but Ben and Gwen getting along didn't make any sense. I liked the fact they got along (finally) but we don't see how. I liked that Ben got newer aliens, but the Omnitrix reconfigured for no reason, so he had 10 new aliens, but none of his old ones. They were not subtle at all for how the aliens had similar powers to his old ones, but to me, they were creative enough, so I liked them, Brainstorm, Humongousaur, Swampfire, Echo Echo and Big Chill being my favorites. I liked how Ben would call out the names because I didn't know Heatblast's name until that episode with the electric aliens. When I saw Kevin, I was like, him again? Then they fought, he joined them and I was like, did I miss something? Ben offered a chance to join him before, so what made him change his mind? I love epic storylines, so I like the DNAliens, though they should have been the enemy for the entire series. Ben fought them for one season, then they brought back Vilgax for no reason, then his Omnitrix messed up again. I liked that the Omnitrix worked, then they brought back that, "Hey, I meant to use this alien; the Omnitrix must hate me" running gag. I thought he was learning, but they keep making him act like his 10-year-old self. I hate that he only learned 3 new aliens opposed to the original's 10. I like that we learn that Ben and Gwen are part alien. I like that Gwen and Kevin got together. I like that they brought back old enemies, especially Charmcaster (she is FINE). I love the introduction of the Ultimatrix. When Albedo turned into Ultimate Humongousaur, that was epic. To be honest, I loved the whole season finale. As for Alien Swarm, I liked it. The people who played Gwen and Elena were FINE. Again, they use that teasing gag at the beginning when Ben tried to use Spidermonkey but used Big Chill. As cool as it was for Big Chill to dodge the chips, it would have been cooler to phase through it. Did they forget he could do that. Why didn't Humongousaur talk? That was lazy of them to just make him growl. I like Elena as a character, but no one knew who she was because she wasn't in the original series. I thought she was Kai or Julie, but she was some added character for some plot device. I LOVE the soundtrack, A Little Faster. It is, for lack of a better word, bada**. Pardon my language. I hated that Race Against Time only had 4 aliens. Ben learned how to switch between aliens, so I thought we were going to get to see all of them, but again, they have the plot device where the Omnitrix don't work for some reason. He only used THREE ALIENS! One of them being a new alien, Nanomech. I don't really hate any aliens, so I like Nanomech. I don't know if anyone noticed, but Kevin kept shaking his arm to get rid of his armor, and it was stupid and annoying. The fight scenes with Gwen were horrible. It always looked cheap and like there was a stunt double. I like that Ben got a car. I liked all of the actors, but Kevin acted the most like his character.

Ultimate Alien:

I'm glad they didn't make them 20 years old. It takes place only a few weeks later so now Ben is 16. Ben straight jacked the Ultimatrix from Albedo, so he can use ultimate aliens. I love the ultimate aliens, but why does ben have 50-something aliens, but only SEVEN are ultimate? That is lazy. I liked Agreggor, but again, he was used for only 1 season, then he was gone. The episode where they showed the day in the life of Gwen was THE most pointless episode in the series. I was thinking about this episode when I said the original had better fillers. I liked the episode when 10-year-old Ben came back, but 10-year-old Gwen should have came with him. I liked learning about Alien X's "home universe". I liked Ben gaining newer aliens based on the elements. You all know I love the element of earth, so naturally, Armordrillo is my favorite of the five. I didn't mind Agreggor's plan or that Kevin changed into Ultimate Kevin, and I'm all for ben being mature, but him trying to kill him after they became friends was too far. I liked the "dweeb" and "doofus" running gag, but Ben knocking Gwen out was too far. Ben simply wasn't listening to reason. I liked the episode, " Ben 10,000 Returns". It filled up every plot hole in the show, while giving me an enjoyable episode. Nomura aught to make a KH game that does this. Althought I hate the Ultimate Ben. It was cool, but he doesn't transform into aliens; he just basically get superpowers. He looked like Superman when he was using Jetray's powers. Eon being a Ben fom another universe was stupid because it was said in Race against Time that Eon was a Chronian, so how could he be a alien and be Ben at the same time? I liked that Ben 10,000 unlocked the ultimatrix so that he can use every alien he every used, but Ben still uses the Alien Force aliens, which makes no sense because he is supposed to be more familiar with the original series aliens. That bring me to "Victor: The Spoils". I was expecting Victor to come back and Ben uses Benvictor again and they fight, but they went in a totally different direction that pissed me off. Some king from some made up country put his mind inside Victor's mind, making him "King Victor". Ben never used Benvictor, but he used Heatblast. This "Lucubra" plot is taking forever to happen, especially after a long hiatus. Then we keep getting more filler episodes. I liked how Ben threatened to kill that Forever Knight. So Simian is back, voiced by a bad Diedrich Bader impersonator, with no explanation, because it looked like that High breed killed him. Speaking of which, UA seems to like to kill people all willy-nilly. Magister Gilhil and Pierce are dead. WHY THE HELL DID THEY KILL OFF PIERCE?! I personally hate it when main characters are killed off, whether it be movies, TV, or video games.

So, that's my opinion of the Ben 10 series. I like them all equally. They all have their high points and low points. What are your opinions?

R.I.P Cartoon network.....

Yep, I miss the old days too. Although, I do like Adventure Time, Ben 10(obviously), and Total Drama Island. Dude, What Would Happen is crap.

The origional was good, alien force was tollerable, ultimate alien made me die inside.

When I was younger I watched the first few episodes, then stopped watching for some reason. But it was enjoyable when I did see the episodes! I occasionally watch the old Ben 10 if I have nothing to do and if it's on Boomerang. However when I got a chance to see the Alien Force I didn't like it as much. >:

I only watch Cartoon Network for the anime and shows they don't make. The shows Cartoon Network make are almost all stupid.
