I've been thinking for a long time. It's been starting to bother me. I promised that I would never love a girl again in my life, but it seems that promises are easy to break. There's a girl at my school who I like. I'm just not sure how to get my feelings out to her. We're friends, and that's what makes it even stranger for me. It would be akward if I told her I loved her. So basically I'm just trying to ask how can I get my feelings out to her without overdoing it.

Some promises are easy to break. Some aren't.

I would talk with that girl, ask her out.

yea, just a date~nayn

If she's your friend, I don't think it would be that hard.

Don't ever tell a girl that you 'love' her right away. Love is a strong word, and it makes you seem a bit desperate. But if you just approach her in a calm, level-headed way (if you're already friends with her, this should be normal), strike up a conversation, and as charming and suave as you can, tell her your feelings. Don't come on too strong. Seem friendly. Smile a lot, make eye contact, the works.

That's the best advice I can give.

@sorasbaby: I'm a bit young. 13. So is she. So... yeah.

@Sora'sLittleHelper: For me though, I never normally break promises. I just don't want an incident to happen like it did 2 years ago...

@Belyxsh: Thanks! I might try that.

Being 'in love' at 13 is impossible. Just saying.

Also, you need to stop dwelling on something that happened two years ago. You would have been, what, eleven? If something that happened when you were eleven has been affecting you like that, then that's pretty derpy. Girls like a confident guy. If you act like something is bothering you, she'll be less inclined to return your feelings.

Edit: Cool. Glad I can be of service. :3

Lol don't tell her that you -love- her. Just ask her out or something and see what happens. The worst that will happen is you'll get a 'no'. Which will happen. In life. More than once. Sooo might as well get it over with now haha. And idk how your apparently traumatized and swearing off girls at 13 buut.. you got a lot of life left (hopefully) annd.. gl with that promise lol..

You had an 'incident' at 11?

I was 12, not 11 when the incident happened.

I just assumed as you said your 13 and it happened two years ago.

So? Friendship only increases your chances of going out with her. Since she's your friend, she might say yes. I have the same exact problem you do, so be glad you're not alone. :P

But she's going out with the new kids before she gets to know him that well, so my view of her in romantic interest is dropping. If she's someone like that, I probably wouldn't even try, just get over my liking of her, if I were you, the same as I'm doing. If you actually like this girl, your love could get too strong and you might just act all weird around her, so just try to ask her out. Don't be too shy about it, or you'll regret it.

Get to know her better. Hangout with her more before confessing to her. You should be fine once you guys know each other better.

LOL Kalnet said what I left out. ^^

Thanks guys. I'm just can't seem to break a nervous habit around women, but I'll try your guy's advise :P
