If Sora and Riku are going to take the mark of mastery exam.

Posted

Will they both have to fight against each other like Terra and Aqua?

If they do, who will become master? Must we also have to choose which character to play as and decide who will pass?

The fight Terra and Aqua did wasn't a fight to see who would become master. It was to see how they would react when pressed by battle. As for Sora and Riku, them fighting like that might happen, but again, that doesn't mean the loser doesn't become a master.

Did you play or watch a walkthrough of Birth by Sleep, watch the latest KH3D trailer, or read any of the interviews after TGS 2011(which is located on the homepage in the news section)? This thread should not have been made. Just saying.

Can't we just ask a simple question?

Yeah. They might have to fight but the loser would still pass. Terra didn't pass because he didn't have sufficiant control on his darkness (Ironic that because he was held back for that his darkness was allowed to grow.)

ooh i wonder if Yen Sid will make an exception for Riku since Terra and Riku share similar names.

If there's ever two pupils going for the Mark of Mastery, as Eraqus puts it "It's not a competition for supremacy" or something like that. The battles are not winner/loser. It's just another test to observe the candidates and see how they do i different situations.

i highly doubt that we will be able to choose who passes bc then the overall story will become inconsistent when we hit kh3. there will probably just be different endings like bbs which show different events that happened at the same time during the end of the game, but it's hard to say considering its's more likely both will pass, maybe we'll get the same ending with bothe characters or another 'true' ending
