Zenithia 305 Posted October 26, 2011 tutti frutti. I watched some of the scenes of re:CoM and this question popped into my head. Would Marluxia really be considered dead or defeated in any way? Up until you play Riku's story, along with KH2, you pretty much got the idea that Axel was a goner. And when Marluxia appeared to be, if not actually, defeated, Sora and co. pretty much dipped the room they were fighting in and Sora locked the door behind him. Part of me has that feeling that Marluxia is somwhere getting stronger, if not locked in that room in CO. Always 309 Posted October 26, 2011 I think it's extremely possible. Tetsuya Nomura himself even said that there's no real concept of death in Kingdom Hearts. So, like Xion and Axel? Heck, they're just asleep, waiting for Sora to wake them up again in KH3 (no lie--I'm pretty sure I remember Nomura saying that). So my theory is that in KH3, ALL the characters from the past games who are supposed to be "deceased" are going to come back somehow and/or end up becoming whole again (in the case of the Organization XIII members). Because, you know, as Yen Sid said, the fact that Sora "finished off" Ansem (Xehanort's Heartless) and Xemnas means that Master Xehanort is going to come back. I think that it'll be a similar situation with all the Organization XIII members, etc. Haha so yeah. But, assuming that this is not the case, and given a hypothetical situation where there actually is death, as in no return, in the universe of Kingdom Hearts, I don't think it's likely that Marluxia would still be alive. This is because of the cemetery-like place that you visit in The World That Never Was in KH2, which shows which Organization members are still alive, and which ones aren't. Not that what I'm saying completely denies what you two are saying, since both of you make complete sense in this, I don't think that Marluxia would have had the intention of controlling Sora without having some sort of alternative should things go wrong. Izzo 74 Posted December 29, 2011 i agree with the fact that may have more to offer, but i do not believe that they will get their chance. organization members 9 to 12, (demyx, marluxia, larxene and luxord) will in my opinion be left undeveloped. i just think that they have really left that chapter, and are dealing with xehanort. that being said, i believe that we will see a LOT more of members 1 through 8 in their original form though, since they are all close to xemnas and xehanort (with braig/xigbar especially). numbers 9-12 just kinda got caught up in madness, which is too bad too because i honestly love each and every one of them. i think they are all neat characters that really added to the series. hopefully i am wrong. 1 Zenithia reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I agree with you there. Org. members 9 through 12 have been undeveloped in their background. Since all of the other members have had a decent amount of their background looked upon, which I think is something worth going into. Ultimately, I don't think that any character should be left on the shelf like that. Hopefully, they all comeback as their Somebody at a future point in the series.
