Taking place many years after the latest events in the KH series, the worlds are attempting to join back together. Without guidance, however, it is a misshapen process, melding things together that shouldn't touch. In this chaos the Unbound are born, feeding on it and driving entropy. A young man who can see the connections underlying all things searches for allies to help him right the worlds and reach the heart of all, Kingdom Hearts, to create a bright future for them all.

 

Rules:

No god modding unless relevant to the story line (send me a message and I'll probably accept it)

No taking control of other people's oc's unless given consent

Let's keep it PG-13 or below, shall we?

No killing other people's characters without their permission

No ending or starting sequels to this without my permission (I'm a pretty laid back guy, though)

Make each post long enough to be worth reading

Try your best to avoid spelling and grammar errors

Don't bash other people's work

 

Note:

You may control a total of two oc's but only if you think you can handle it. Be sure to note who's perspective you're writing from.

You may be on the side of darkness, but only two or three of those characters. (Secret intentions are also welcome)

Worlds from Kingdom Hearts and all Square Enix projects are acceptable as home worlds for your character and you may have connections to whomever you like, but you must use an oc.

Remember that other weapons aside from Keyblades exist, and therefore could be used by your character.

My Character Sheet-

Name- Augustus Concerto

 

Age- 18

 

Home world- Jylland of Ivalice (as seen in final fantasy tactics advance 2: grimoire of the rift)

 

History- The son of famous heroes, he was taken in by his Bangaa godfather, Gwil, when they died. Over the past 11 years he has developed many distinctly Bangaa traits such as his impressive strength, intensity in battle, and strong sense of honor. When the world began to change and the Unbound appeared he realized that he would need to put his born ability to good use to help make things right.

 

Bio- For no obvious reason August has always been able to see how things are connected to each other, and effect those connections, everything being connected to at least something. This has been counter acted by the fact that he cannot use even the most simple form of magic and that he has abysmal magic defense. He believes that this power is a part of the solution to the current problems and is on a search to find others to help him.

 

 

Personality- He is fairly quiet, not because he's shy, just because he'd rather listen than talk. He enjoys taunting enemies, however. He's fiercely competitive and although he doesn't enjoy hurting others, he isn't willing to stand idly by as they get attacked. He feels responsible for those he meets, and therefore assumes a leadership position.

Cain had decided to walk around Raidient Garden in order to Kain, beliving him to be here in the Holy City Of Light while running about from place to place, fighting insignifcant Unbounds that had multiply appeared in his way and while all at the same time defeat and kill them as Cain had then had seen a strange being dressed in robes unlike never seen before (Jules.) and had decided to jump ontop of the back of a rooftop and then ambush him from above as a sneak surprise attack while all the while believing Jules to be a new type of Unbound that has found a way to disguise itself as a human in order to create even more chaos then ever before as Cain prepared to jump him while readying summoning his keyblade as he slowly saw Jules walk around the way near the back of the rooftop.

"I hear your heavy breathing, you aren't sneaking up on us. Out from the corner," Damion yelled at the roof top, thinking it was a random kid trying to play a prank. The castle was in sight, and Damion felt that they didn't have time for nonsense. "What, did you think Jules was alone? Just wait till the mayor finds out you were trying to attack a guest." ,Damion said.

Though it sounded to August like Damion thought it was a kid, August could see a faint red connection headed from the stranger to Jules. A connection that meant only one thing; killing intent.

Jules could sense him with the Force and turned around to face the attempted attacker. "I am not what you think I am." Jules said. "I am a Zabrak from the planet of Iridonia, not an Unbound, or whatever those things are."

"Really?" said Cain as he had jumped off of the back of the rooftop there and then and had decided to approach August, Jules and Damion while saying "If what your saying is the truth-prove it." as Cain wanted proof as to weather or not to believe Jules is telling the truth or not.

Jules put his hand up, attempting to use the Force to persuade Cain. "I am not your enemy. You do not wish to fight me." he said, waiving his hand. If it did not work, he was ready to grab his lightsabers to defend himself.

August took his turn to be intimidating, as it seemed to be the thing to do right now. However, he was stopped short when he realized that the killing intent had faltered a little. "No worries, guys," August called over his shoulder as he stepped towards the figure. "Now that he knows what's going on he'd be an idiot to attack us. I can feel the killing intent fading." August slid his sword from his sheath slowly.

 

"I keep this sword on me just in case of idiots, though, so if you're up for it, try me." August smirked as he got into a battle ready position.

"I'm the cheif of the security squad, I became cheif at the age of fifteen, I've held that position for three years, and in those three years the population of heartless in Radient Garden has dropped by 75%." ,Damion said.

Celeste walked through the quiet town. She had followed the trace of the Unborn through the door of the world, but it disappeared as soon as her feet touched the ground. She was planning to ask someone for directions of any kind of information on the recent influx of inborn, but the town seemed deserted. She was just about to give up when she heard a voice behind her.

"Never seen you here before, stranger."

Celeste jumped and spun around, blade at the ready. A middle-aged blond man with a toothpick in his mouth was standing behind her, hands over his head.

"Now, now, little lady, I mean no harm. What can I do you for?"

Still a little suspicious, Celeste slightly lowered her weapon. "Where am I? And who are you, Gramps?"

The man chuckled. "Gramps...it's been awhile since someone's called me that. You are in Radiant Gardens. My name's Cid. May I have yours?"

"My name's not important. Listen, gramps--"

"Cid."

"--Whatever. I'm looking for something called the unborn. Do you know where they are?"

Cid scratched his chin. "I don't know anything about unborn, but I saw some keyblade masters pass by about 20 minutes ago."

Celeste froze. "Keyblade masters?"

"Yeah. They went to the outskirts. Wait, where are you going?!"

Celeste was already running toward the exit. "Thanks gramps!"

"That's CID!"

"Heh, i sense that you all have the fine qualities of warriors within you-very well then, you have earned my trust." Said Cain as he had then decided to bow in front of the three and say "This is the bowing proceedure all we "Dragoon Knight Apprentices" must do when approaching new people and making any kind of contact with them-ahem, my name is Cain, Cain Skyheart, of the world known as Dragonia" Said Cain finishing his introduction.

"My name is Jules, Jules Skyhaven." he said. "As I said earlier, I am a Zabrak from the planet Iridonia. I am a Jedi Knight and crash landed on this planet."

August put his blade away and dropped into a casual stance, losing all of the tense energy he had before. "Augustus Concerto, but you can call me August. I'm a Warrior and a Grand Archer. Just earlier today I was in Jylland and now I'm here. It's been crazy."

"All right, so...we were just on our way to the castle...so we best be heading there" ,Damion said. He knew that if they arrived at the castle at sundown there would be great difficulty....

"Very well then-please, allow me to acompany you all, if not then please, please allow me to fight from the sidelines!" Said Cain as he got back up from his feet and had begged to everyone to allow his request to be fufilled.

"Sure dude, whatever," August accepted, a little weirded out by the display. They then set out.

 

On the way to the top of the castle they passed through a library sparking interest in some and disdain in others (you can guess which is which), a large entrance room, and several creepy passages, navigating the messed up lifts like a maze. Throughout the journey they were confronted with wave after wave of Unbound, stemming from the chaos connected to the world's heart. The heroes fought valiantly and eventually made it to the surprisingly small motor which had been running the lifts. Taking it, they turned to go back the way they came when August stopped them.

 

"Hey guys. Over there, I can see it. There's a massive amount of chaos focused around that one point. It's like this world is reaching out to others, trying to become one, but something's wrong. Things aren't combining right. These connections were never meant to be. I think that that's what's causing this mass chaos, and with the chaos, the Unbound. By that way the weapon in your hand is connected to it so strongly," August said as he turned to face Cain, "I'd say the keyblade might be the answer to this problem." August waited and watched his new friends faces, looking to see how they would respond.

"My.....Keyblade?-I don't understand what you mean master August." Said Cain as he called his new friends masters as he respected them more then he did himself or at least wanted to be polite in a way that may seem unusual to them but not to Cain himself as he knew what he was saying and doing despite not having a clear grasp on what August meant by the means of using Cain's keyblade at this point in time.

(OOC: Quick note: Any "boss" character or challenge, whether Heartless, Unbound, or other, should be treated as an actual challenge. At the very least a boss should score at least one major hit on the character or characters fighting it or two smaller blows on them. A minimum of ten hits is required to successfully defeat a boss, and only two hits are allowed per post. This isn't to make things hard, it's to make things interesting. "What's a Keyblade?" Jules asked. He had no idea what was going on with this world. "Is it some sort of weapon or something?"

August, pushing aside the "Master" comment for now, answered as best as he knew how. "Well, I'm no expert, but it seems that the keyblade is supposed to play a big role in this. Keyblades are unique in that they are able to access the heart, including the heart of a world. I know that this may sound harsh, but the best thing I think we can do for this world right now it to lock up it's heart from outside influences. That should cut it's ties with the other worlds for now, meaning that travelling from world to world on foot would no longer be an option from Radiant Garden, but it also means that the chaos caused by the mismatched worlds would fade away, taking the Unbound along with it. I don't know what to expect after we lock the world's keyhole, but something tells me that when those connections break a lot of chaos will be unleashed in a burst before fading away. I plan on figuring out a way to free all of the worlds from chaos and finding a way to unite them how they were supposed to be united. Go big or go home, right? So I ask once again, are you guys with me?"

"I'm with you." Jules said. He drew his lightsabers and got ready to fight. "I may not understand what's going on in this universe, but I'll help in any way I can."

"Well if you don't know how to use the key blade, I'll just show you a little machine that was created by Merlin, King Mickey, and a boy named Sora," Damion said. He quickly pulled up his sleeve and revealed a watch, and when he held it up to the key hole it ignited a light and a loud locking noise issued. Then, everything got dark, and from the darkness emerged a being with multiple heads. Damion knew the beast, "He is called Bartandelus, he is a roaming legend of the land of Cocoon, there he is called Sanctum Fal' Cie, he is super dangerous, but he seems to have merged with an Unbound..." He quickly pulled his gunblade, "we must destroy it!"

A roaming legend-now that's something i wanna piece of! prepare yourself! demonic hybrid!" Said Cain as he readied his Keyblade, ready for what seemed to be the upcoming battle with Bartandeius before turning back to August and answering his question by saying "Yes master August-i am with you, i will fight with all of you! by putting my honour as one of the Dragoon Knight Apprentices of Dragonia on the line!" said Cain as he summoned his Keyblade, ready to begin fighting at any time.

"I'm going to take the one on the far left, someone needs to take the other three, don't fight the big head yet, it's immune until they are gone, and for goodness sake no magic!" ,Damion yelled as he charged his head, it began spewing watera at him constantly...
