Mine would be a Sonic Generations II where Dr.Eggman Nega saves both Dr.Robotnik and Dr.Eggman and now both Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic must once again team up to stop them by going to more new Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic levels that go up from Sonic the Hedgehog to Sonic Colours and also this time around will levels from Spin Off games such as Sonic and the Secret Rings and Sonic Rush as well as Sonic Rivals will be included and also will both Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic be now joined on their quest to save the world from the "Eggtrio." and find both the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald which will they will be both vital in order to restore the recreation of the entire universe are they joined by both Shadow the Hedgehog and Silver the Hedgehog and now let's see what will happen when 4 Hedgehogs vs 3 Eggmen in an all new Sonic outbreak of both Classic and Modern alike!

If its the sequel of Sonic Generations,shouldn't you choose other stages then those who were already in Sonic Generations.If Sega decide to make a Sonic Generations 2(I doubt it will even happen) I'd like to see:

How would a sequel ruin it? There's basically nothing to ruin, it's just fanservice and excellent level design, held together by a handful of cutscenes.

You may want to give 06 a try, it IS very glitchy, and unfinished, but it's also the most similar game to the Adventure games that has been made to date. If you can put up with some frustration (Or like to abuse glitches, you can do some pretty crazy stuff with glitches in 06) it might satisfy you until something better comes along.

I don't advocate the use of 06, but there is a small demographics who feel the game is great, and you may be a part of this demographic.
