Anyone else hated the leveling system?

Posted

I just need thoughts, oath_keeper14 and I were discussing it and I am undecided on this, I've heard the many stories of it and how difficult it is to battle bugs and heartless....

Um kh 1 only had a small number of worlds too you know and how could you call all portable kh games small? BBS was actually longer than kh2 in terms of time played and I would definitely call 358/2 days and Re:coded small. Oh and if BBS is anything to go by then 3D will probably be even longer in terms of gameplay. The no. of worlds don't matter at all in terms of hours of gameplay.

Some people say Days was short, but that game seemed to drag on to me, probably because they counted the days. KH2 always felt long to me, while BBS felt short, probably because in KH2, you go through the worlds twice, while in BBS, the gameplay is split between 3 characters. It always takes me 31 hrs to beat KH1, and I felt it was as long as it should have been. The way the games are made makes them feel longer or shorter to me than it probably is.

Yeah well to me bbs is definitely the longest and I have spent the most time on it (about 150hrs plus), while kh2 is second(100hrs) and kh1 is third(90hrs) so I could complete everything.

I feel that leveling should be something automatic, but then again I like the fact that you can go back to lvl 1 for the extra challenge, so in that case I like the leveling system, as long as they return to the standard method in future titles.

I also like milking as much play time possible out of the Kingdom Hearts series. Getting 100% is usually my main objective as soon as I start playing. So I strive for the level cap, try to get every weapon and item, talk to every NPC, read every available script, and beat every secret boss at least once.

Oh man I LOVED the leveling system! Best in the series I think!!

The gameplay was so fun as well. like BBS and the good parts of Days.

But the game OVERALL was awful.

and... whats with Sora's voice in that game? It sounded so different...

i thought it was alright. i mean you had to be a little strategic to level up properly but it was interesting.

I thought it was pretty cool, it was a different spin on the series in terms of gameplay and I liked it.

I thought the leveling up system was better then days

I didn't have a problem with the leveling system. It made the game more interesting because you had to be more stratgetic.

Yeah it was with all these chip thingis.... It was a bit annoying

I loved it!

I found hardly any problems with the game. I was fine with the levelling system.

The only tweeking the leveling system and the stat matrix need is the ability to move chips around and change up things! And a bit more space. Its not bad , You can get a higher level more easily!

You need to play it to keep with story.
