About 2,000 years ago, magic dried up. The once formidable number of magic users was reduced to less than 1% of the world’s population. Since then, mankind advanced with technology and science. Now, people have cars, guns, iPods, airplanes and bubble gum. The rare magic users are kept safe and used by the governments around the world.
Two weeks ago, the world’s most powerful mage, Talmoten Agary, used magic to break the world. For reasons that baffle experts, magic resurged after Agary cast his spell. The world is now held together with magic. The world is made up of floating chucks of rock, held to a molten core by massive sets of chains imbedded in the underside of the chucks. Magical bridges span the gaps between the chucks, allowing travel. Water and weather cycles appear unaffected. Some mages credit Agary for this, but other don’t.
The resurgence of magic has had some side effects. There are now areas so infused with magic, people and animals mutate inside them. Old magical beasts are reappearing. The number of magic users have jumped dramtically.
Magic is back. The world is broken. What will you do?
This story starts in Granoda, one of the biggest cities in the world. A “fault line” dividing two chucks of rock splits the city in two.

1: No controlling other peoples characters without their permission.
2: Keep language, romance, gore and so forth on a PG13 level.
3: No Godmodding unless it works for the story.
4: Maximum of 3 characters currently. If you want more, PM me. I’m flexible on this.
5: No killing each other without mutual permission.
