I'm looking for a good anime series that I can watch that has a pretty good storyline and likable characters. I haven't really looked through the stuff so I have no clue where to start. Oh I also have Netflix =P please help?

durarara!! but, its not on netflix. the story is a bit random and its a short anime, but the cast is pretty likeable.

heeeeeey no one wants to recommend Yu-gi-oh? Oh also i don't believe it is on netflix but you can watch all of it at www.4kidstv.com/yugioh Its pretty dang epic but I won't judge any other anime's since I haven't seen them!

well, if you are interested about romance and humour, try Midori days. All episodes can be found from youtube as japanese or english.

My favorite anime (out of the handful I've watched in my lifetime) has to be Toradora!. It's a super cute romantic comedy, and I don't know why it hasn't had a North American release yet (although I'm sure it would be absolutely awful if an English dub was made).

I also like Read or Die the T.V., but if you want to watch that, make sure you watch the Read or Die OVA first. The OVA isn't nearly as good as the TV series, but if you watch it, you'll get some context for the series.

Sorry, neither series is on Netflix. But there's always YouTube!

nurahiyon no mago is a cool anime

Fullmetal Alchemist! There are two different versions of the show: one that follows the Manga, and one that has its own story. Both are really good, and it has gotten amazing reviews! Then of course, there are people who argue over which one's better... But I think both have been released on Netflix.

D. Gray Man, Soul Eater , High School of Dead, Fairy Tail , Fullmetal Alchemist, Bakuman and Katekyo Hitman Reborn. There is much of anime which is very good but i can't think anything else just now.
