In "The War of the Gods.", We will now go back even further into Dissidia Final Fantasy History, As we now Explore not just both the 12th Cycle and the 13th Cycle but also the 11th Cycle and the other Cycles of Battle in both our own versions and our own ways and now let us begin the Story of-"Dissidia Final Fantasy: The War of the Gods.".

"Sephiroth?!" Kefka exclaimed. "That copy cat? Rrrgh..." Kefka grumbled, storming out of the castle. "Just where am I supposed to find the cretin?" He continued this mumbling as he searched the nearby area. "Wait..." he paused, then pondered on a rock. "Why am I doing this? I should just get some gullible fool to do my bidding." He liked that idea. Much easier than searching the enitre world for one swordsman.

"I wish to see an end to the conflict." Golbez finally answered. Kain was leaning against the spire behind him, the breeze brushing past the warriors.

 

"A goal shared by many, yet still noble." Kain replied, scanning the horizon. There really was nothing else but the tower here, was there?

 

"I fear you misunderstand my intentions, Kain." Golbez turned fully to the dragoon this time. "I seek and end to the conflict. Not only this cycle, but all of them. Consider this: What happens when the cycle ends?"

 

The question caught Kain off guard. He reflected for a few moments. "We are returned home."

 

"Are we?" Golbez's tone was deeper now, darker. "What if, if you will indulge me," he paused, Kain nodding. "The warrior did not return home? What if, after a warrior has fallen, they are held in reserve? What if, immediately after the end of a cycle of combat, another began with the warriors returned to fight again?" Kain was silent. "We are warriors summoned by beings who liken themelves to gods, our memories wiped to serve in their proxy wars." Still no response from the dragoon. "Do you remember the last time you were in our world? When was it?"

 

"Of course I do." Kain shot back. "I was-" He stopped suddenly, his mouth twisting in a grimace. "Cecil... we were..."

 

Golbez nodded. "If we have no memories of our past, we become complient. Desperate for someone to lead us. At least, that is the theory." He turned back to the fields, away from Kain. "It shames me to say that even though Chaos prevailed las tcycle, I too find myself with hampered memories. It is a result of the purging that takes place between cycles, preparing us for the conflict ahead once more."

 

Kain pushed himself off of the construct, standing directly behind Golbez. "How do you know this? What is really happening here?"

Sephiroth was walking around an area known as the planets core. He awoken here, where he was he did not know for certain. "Well it doesnt matter, i know your here, Cloud, and what a suprise Zack too."

Vincent felt strange pressure on his back. "What is this, it can't be... Sephiroth!!" Vincent raised up and started to run fast towards land of discord. "I have to stop Sephiroth, no matter what!"

Hope tried to find other cosmos' warriors but didn't see any of them. "Where is everyone else, could there be anyone else from my world by change?"

I walk for awhile. I heard a voice. "Hmm is there another person around here perchance?" I ask. I start to walk faster.

Kekfa aimleasely walked about the world, in search of Sephiroth. Anyone a mile or two away still could've hear his loud yells and rude remarks. He gurmbled his away around, until he fund a clue. "Ooh! Something that piques my interest! A cave, why yes! I can just sense the power seeping from down there. Why I do so believe one Sephiroth maybe down in the depths. Mwe heh heh!" He laughed, prancing down into the dark depths.

Zack looked around some more. Not really knowing who or what was around the corner. He saw a young light blonde haired boy. "Hey kid, all by your lonesome?"

Sephiroth was looking around for some fun. If he did meet some....old friends, why not mess with their minds. The dark cave he found dripped with drops of water. He was thinking what he would do once he confronted Cloud, but yet Cloud was not self-confident, but Zack. Sephiroth laughed he remembered how so willing he was to reveal intrest and take the boy in after his friends death. But that was before Sephiroth knew the truth.

"Garland fancies me an ally of sorts." Golbez kept his gaze away from the warrior behind him, to the lush fields in the distance. "He is one of the few constants in this circle of strife. He is-"

 

Kain sneered as Golbez stopped speaking. "You know too much, yet you reveal nothing, Golbez. Answer me now. Why are we here?!" Kain leveled the lance at Golbez, the black cape blowing in the breeze. Golbez turned to the dragoon, his gaze locked on the warrior.

 

"You have been around Cecil too long, Kain. You seek your answers only from others." His tone was dark, almost offensive. "From this point onward, we are considered enemies. You must find your answers for yourself. Only after fighting me will you realize your true place in this conflict."

 

"Golbez!" Kain lunged forward as Golbez vanished into black vapor, the dragoon alone atop the spire. His face contorted under his helmet into a display of confusion and rage. "Damn him." Kain glanced out to the fields that Golbez had spent so much time watching. "I will have my answers Golbez, and I will pry them from you if I must."

Snow hung back from Zack a little as he thought a moment. He had seen how effective a group of people was compared to one, lone hero could do. He figured that this fight with Chaos was no different. Just had to get enough heroes together. Zack seemed like a good start.

It was now that Snow noticed that Zack had called to someone.

"Who we got?" Snow asked as he moved up next to Zack.

"Beats me, light blonde haired kid, green scarf, orange jacket, seem familiar?"

I could be wrong I wrong I think to myself. As I walk though I see a person not to far off. "Heyyyy!" I call over to Hope.

( wait I thought I was calling to Hope? sorasbaby)

(Are you?)

"Who's there?!" Hope asked and turned around. He saw man with spiky black hair and Snow. "Snow! You are here too!?" Hope runned to them.

Kefka continued down, easily eliminating a sort of hostile that dared to draw near. The explosions that resulted were surely heard far away, as kefka preferred to use his favorite form Magicka. Fire. Lots of it. Quite soon, he reached a large opening. "Ooh! What do I spot? A couple of lowly mortals, conversing. And it seems Sephy is near! Mwe heh heh!" He laughed maniacally, then paused. "Wait.....there's dirt on my boots!"

( yes sorry if you didn't know, I should explain more)

 

Zack saw the kid run up to Snow. He was sorta dumbfounded they knew eachother?"

 

 

Sephiroth slashed and hacked every creature that cam his way. He came across a snowed mountain, if only he had some way to destroy this place.

(Er it's okay.)

"So you two know eachother?" Zack said, he was thinking about Cloud, his friend.

 

 

 

 

 

Sephiroth felt some of his strength fleed. Why did he feel so weak, he tried to keep going but was forced to stop. He leans on a boulder trying to recollect his power.

I put my hand on my head (facepalm). I shake my head and keep walking. "No one's there...." I stop talking I should just not talk for a while I think to myself.

"SEPHIROTH! Appear before me." Said Chaos as he had Summoned Sephiroth to the Edge of Madness.

Sephiroth weakly walked to Chaos throne. "You summoned me Chaos?"

"Yes, I Told that Idiotic Clown to Welcome you Among our Ranks, He can't even do One Simple Thing Right Without a Craving for Destruction." Said Chaos about Kefka.

"Well you sent a raving maniac, what could you hope to accomplish." Sephiroth did his best to stand up straight.

"At any Rate, I Hope your "Past" Hasn't been Affecting you." Said Chaos.
