After the overwhelming popularity of the idea, I'm starting this rp. Remember, this takes place in the modern time. So people won't be very happy if you draw your weapon in public. Be careful. Also, this was an important question, and I'll answer. You can talk to your Inhabiter whenever you want. And I have to have Sephiroth as my enemy. Sorry, Azure Flame

 

Joy sat in the cafe, drinking his coffee slowly. He couldn't believe all of it was real. Final Fantasy, everything. And why Cloud chose him was boyone his understanding. After all, in the games, he was the cool dude. Still, having the Buster Sword was pretty cool. He finished his coffee and walked out slowly. He put his hands in his pockets and tried to imitate Cloud's expression, but he burst out laughing, causing to people around him to look at him. Oh, if only they knew.

"Umm, guys we would vlove to talk about this more, but we have a concert in an hour and we need to get going." Victoria told them. Paul looked at August and Sara. "Hey why dont you be our special guesses? You get to come back stage and came come on stage with us. Plus we are going to film this for our movie so?" Paul asked them.

August wanted to go really bad, but felt as though this situation needed to be addressed first. "See, and this is why I chose you. You're not as impulsive as me, which is mostly a good thing, I guess, but I can also push you to do something if necessary. We're a good team," spoke Vaan into August's mind. "I'd love to guys, but something's telling me that I need to stick around for this. Good luck on your concert and I hope your sister gets better." At their shocked faces August replied "You didn't know your fans knew? Trust me, that's one of the biggest reasons we like you! You're not doing this for the cash or the fame but for the sister you love. Keep on rocking you two. Don't worry, I think our paths will cross again. Feel free to go with them if you'd like, ummm..." At this point August became accutely aware that the girl housing Balthier had yet to reveal to him her name.

James made his way home, holding his head. He threw the katana he had gotten on his couch and fell to his knees. Why didn't you kill them!? You knew that Cloud and Tifa were in them! Sephiroth said. "Because I'm not like you!" James said. "I don't kill people, I'm a nice guy!" Not for long. I will warp your mind and make you my puppet. You will do my bidding, James. The last thing James remembered before he passed out was the pain in his head as Sephiroth forced his will onto him. His cries could be heard throughout the block.

Joy looked at the girl. "Oh, hi. My name is Joy." Joy wondered who she was. He realized this was the girl he met before, the one on the balcony. Wait. How could she have reacehed him and the other guy that fast? Now, Joy knew he was stupid, but he wasn't that stupid. This girl must be an Inhabiter. He looked her in the eyes. "So, uh, you wouldn't happen to have a Final Fantasy character inside of you, would you?" Joy seriously hoped he wasn't wrong.

"Sorry I didn't realize I hadn't told you my name yet. It's Sara." She told August and then shook her head, "As much as I want to say yes as well...I can't. But it's awesome getting to meet you two. Like I would have never believed I'd ever be meeting Victoria AND Paul. Here's my number so we can meet up again if we need to." She handed it to Victoria. Normal circumstance she doubt a celebrity would take her number but hey none of them were normal. I wouldn't mind going to a concert... Balthier muttered. For the tenth billion time, Shut up. Sara told him.

"The fans know about my sister?" Paul was shocked. "Well you know a secret gets out with our lives. Now come on. Oh and August, come drop in after the concert, we need to talk about this more." And like that Victoria and Paul were gone to the concert arena. "15 minutes" said the announcer. Victoria and Paul got ready fast. Then they walked to the back of the stage where the screen would come up in 5 seconds. "ARE YOU READY FOR VICTORIA AND PAUL!!!!!!" and just like that the screen rose and Victoria started singing:

Mariah laughed. She was so glad that she wasn’t the one who’d had to ask the big question. “It’s good to know I’m not the only one,” she replied. “Yeah, Tifa...” She was still having trouble with the last name.

 

She heard Tifa’s amused laugh within her. “It’s Lockhart,” Tifa said good-naturedly.

 

“Ah, right, Tifa Lockhart! And I think I know who your Inhabitor is, from what Tifa tells me. Nice to meet you, Joy...and Cloud.” She smiled, secretly hoping that she was right and hadn’t just made herself look like a total idiot.

 

“Trust me, it’s him.”

 

Alright, I guess I believe you, Mariah thought back at Tifa. “So, um, do you live around here?” she asked Joy.

"Yeah i know. Well at lease you got to see Lightning one last time." Ackira said as she smiled.

Last time who said this would be the last? Im gonna see her again and hopefully in her own body. Fang said as she laughed lightly.

"Yeah. well i better get going." Ackira said as she exited the ally and sae the people reduced in size.

"What am i saying. You have to come with." Ackira said as she laughed.

You should confront them. What harm will it do you?. Fang said to her.

"None." Ackira said as she paused and heard a cry in the city.

"What was that?"

"Sure," responded August to the duo, and like that they were off, leaving Sara, Luccifer, and him alone. August wanted to go and see about the other two people he'd sensed nearby, but was distracted by a cry from the city (tying in from khfreaker01's post). Turning to Luccifer and Sara he asked "Did you guys hear that? What do you think we should do?"

(Hey, you can come up with the villian from your game with people from your games. I suggest PM. I got lucky because Azure Flame took Sephiroth )

"Yeah. I actually live in the apartment building you were at." But Joy still had an important question. "Uh, how did you know Cloud was in me?" Just then, Joy knew how she knew it. He smiled. His smile everyone told him made people feel good. "Just like I knew how you had Tifa inside you. I was just scared it might be wrong." Just then, he heard a cry. It sounded like the man from before. His heart clenched. If that was Spehiroth in the man, what would happen now? Would he have to fight?

Sara shrugged, "I don't know.. Balthier what do you say?" Oh I'm sorry. Did you want my opinion all of a sudden now? After you tell me to shut up and all. Sara rolled her eyes. Alright, I'm sorry. You were just driving me crazy...now should we go check out that loud cry or not? He was quiet for a bit and just when Sara was about to give up, Balthier spoke, I'm not sure. Something doesn't feel right. I sense something bad...but I can't tell what. Too be honest, I'd say it be smart not to go check it out...but it is up to you all. Do what you must...but don't get yourself killed. I'd hate to have to find a new body to inhabit. Gee, your concern for me is flattering... Sara muttered to him. "Balthier doesn't want to go check it out. He can sense something bad. I don't know. What do you two think?" She asked August and Luccifer.

To say the cry startled Mariah was a huge understatement. The agony in the voice was blood-curdling. Her eyes grew wide. She could see that Joy had also heard it, and there was a perplexed look on his face.

 

“Was that...James? What should we do?”

James awoke, feeling changed. He felt the newly formed hatred in his heart. Hatred for who he was and everything that reminded him of it. He found an outfit he used to wear when he cosplayed (the outfit in the pic) and changed into it, feeling it more fitting than his normal clothes. He then grabbed Sephiroth's Masamune and a ball of fire appeared in his hand. He threw it at his old clothes, setting them on fire. Another fireball appeared in his hand, which he threw at a wall. Soon, his entire house was on fire, the smoke could be seen in the sky.

Marcus left the concert early...the music wasn't his thing. He won tickets to see it the week before, and recently he'd been hearing Vincent Valentine talking in his head. His father almost put him into a mental institution, but that wouldn't have went good for buisness. The thought of the Govenor's son locked in a mental institution for talking to a video game character was not the kind of publicity he needed when reelections were so close. 'So, do you still think you're crazy Marcus?' ,Vincent said. 'Actually I'm starting to accept it' ,Marcus thought back. He felt insecure about the situation, but what could he do about it? Vincent had even convinced him to make a gun, and conceal it inside his messenger bag for safe keepings! He didn't know what Vincent was planning, but he listened. Vincent was the closest thing he had to a friend.

Joy gulped. He actually felt worried. "Well, I guess...." Joy knew this might be suicide, but he talked again. "We need to find him. He didn't deserve this; if Sephiroth is taking over. We need to rescue him." Joy said, "I'm gonna scout out where the scream came from. You stay here, and uh, wait for my signal. He jogged down the street to where the scream came from. He arrived at the house. It didn't seem good, and he smelled smoke. He broke the door down and ran as fast as he could around the house. He was getting desperate, and so he pulled out his Buster Sword. He ran full speed towards where the fire was, and threw open the door to see James, now as a changed person. He seemed evil, and had a different outfit. (Sorry for the rush, but we need to get the action started.)

"If he can actually sense something bad then I say we can't afford not to check it out. It's got to be something connected to us or else it wouldn't have raised an alarm with any of our spirits. Right now we know next to nothing about what's going on. This could be just the chance we need to figure it out. Besides, if it's connected to us, I doubt that the police will be able to handle it," said August. "Alright! Finally some action," thought Vaan.

"Okay thanks for coming out. We got 2 more songs tonight. So here we go" Victoria said and Paul started singing:

Get out there and do something! Something bad is happening and your standing like a moron. Go! Fang yelled as Ackira started running. Ackira reached for her back pocket and pulled out Fangs spearded lance. It was folded to fit in pocket, although it was much bigger than her pockets.

Good you still have my weapon. Use it well Waylander. Youll need it. Fang said reassuringly. She ran in the direction Fang told her to and saw the people from before already there.

Stay sharp and approach! Fang instructed as Ackira approached the others.

Sara nodded, "I suppose your right. I- Whoa do you see that?!" She changed what she was going to say as she saw smoke rise from one of the houses. Well, shall we go investigate or are we just going to stare gaping at the smoke when someone could get hurt? Balthier asked everyone. She snapped out of it, "Right, we should go check that out before something bad happens." And before she could wait for the others to respond, Balthier forced her to start running towards the house that soon caught on fire. Hey! Stop controlling me! I can fun by myself thank you very much. She yelled at Balthier as he continued to force her to run. True. But I can make you run faster...now stop resisting me. You're going to need me to take control over you especially in battle or you'll die. Sara didn't like it but she did what Balthier said. She felt slightly more powerful like she could kick major butt if needed. Well maybe this isn't so bad. She thought.

James turned around and saw Joy there, holding the Buster Sword. An evil smirk came to his lips as he said "Good to see you, Cloud." He slowly walked toward him, drawing out the Masamune. "I didn't have the guts to kill you when we ran into eachother, but Sephiroth has shown me the error of my old ways. You will die here and I will become the God of this world. I just need to find Mother."

Cloud gulped in his mind, which scared Joy. Somehow, echoing through his mind, he knew what 'mother' was. Jenova, Cloud answered for him. Let me take over, like Sephiroth has. Joy snapped back into it, and said out loud, "No, Cloud, If I'm gonna win, I'm gonna do it by myself. He could almost tell Cloud was shrugging. Fine. Go ahead and get us both killed, then. "I'm not gonna die." He then looked straight at James, with almost a pleading look. "James, you aren't evil. You can beat Sephiroth. And if you can't..." Joy aimed his sword at James, "I'll have to kill you."

Mariah tried to protest, but Joy didn’t pay attention and ran off, just like that. She sighed, a little exasperated. What “signal” was she supposed to wait for, anyway?

 

“We can’t let him go by himself. Go after him!” Tifa begged.

 

But you heard what Joy said. We have to stay here!

 

“Please.”

 

Okay, but I need a few explanations on the way. Mariah started running in the direction she had seen Joy go. So...you really care about Cloud, don’t you? I don’t know a lot of people who have a strong urge to defend their friends in life-and-death situations unless they’re...well, in love with that person.

 

“Well, I guess since you and I are going to be...living together for a while, I should tell you the truth: yes. Cloud means everything to me.”

 

So, does he...you know, like you back? As more than a friend, I mean.

 

Tifa took a moment to answer. “...I don’t know. He doesn’t really express his own feelings that much. There are rare occasions when I think maybe he does, but it’s probably my imagination. I don’t believe he thinks of me as anymore than a friend.”

 

Mariah felt sad for Tifa and was about to ask another question when somebody caught her eye: a well-dressed man with brown hair, carrying a messenger bag.

 

“Go talk to him! I think he can help us...and Cloud,” Tifa urged.

 

Mariah obeyed. Tifa had been right about everyone else so far. She ran to the man. Hey, I think I recognize him...the Governor’s son! Marcus White! When she reached him, her words came out breathlessly, almost before she knew what she was even saying.

 

“Excuse me, I need your help. You’re special, right? Like me? There’s someone inside of you. Tifa Lockhart is in me. You have to help me--someone important to us is in danger!”

 

OOC: Sorry if this slows the action down, but I'm going to be away for a few hours. Family thing. I'm really sorry!

"He hasn't taken control of me." he said. "He has just shaped me to be better than who I was. I am more powerful than I ever have been, and I will kill you, as well as Mariah and anyone else who gets in my way." He got into a stance, holding the Masamune over his head with both hands (Sephiroth's stance)
