Sora's Homeworld; is it Destiny Islands?

Posted

I know the following theory is as crazy as it is dumb and highly unlikely. But above all that' I really think it would explain a lot.

I think that Sora's Homeworld is...Kingdom Hearts.

I mean it would explain how Sora was able to repair Ven's heart, able to let others sleep with his and explain why he has the Kingdom Key, a piece of the X-blade; the key to Kingdom Hearts. In other words; Sora has a key home.

Now how Sora got to Destiny Islands is that after Sora repaired Ven's Heart, Sora unintentionally gave up some of his power as a Kingdom Heart; unable to live in Kingdom Hearts; they sent him to Destiny Islands to a couple unable to have kids and told them that one day Sora and, possibly if they could foresee it, his friends would have to leave home.

So yeah.

A fair theory, but kingdom hearts is'nt a group of people it is its own realm

Interesting theory except that when sora mended ven's heart he was just born on destiny islands

sore's heart was born at the same time as ven's heart was reborn. so sora was coincidentally there when ven's heart was broken. an probably his heart was full of light to let other ppl in or something, and the kingdom key is like the default key blade

tutti frutti. In a way I can see something like this happening, as unlikely and unprobable as it may be, there's definitely a possibility however small it may be. We can't really say what Sora's complete backround is until that information is given to us. Sora could have been created with or by Kingdom Hearts in order to help protect the worlds. The closest thing in general that shows anyone's family is the few times Sora and Riku have mentioned their parents in the series, plus the voice of Sora's mother at the beginning of KH1. Knowing how Nomura has orchestrated the series I wouldn't really be surprised at this point and time.

...Well, that doesn't sound very right.

Anyways, anybody can argue that everybody's homeworld is Kingdom Hearts since it is the Heart of all worlds and is most likely where all Hearts are born.

I thought Kingdom Hearts was the birthplace of all hearts...didn't Ansem say something like that in the first game?

"From those dark depths are all hearts born--even yours."

He may have been exaggerating (Xehanort does that alot in all his forms), but that's sort of what I had stuck in my head.

And I think the reason Sora was able to heal Ven was more the fact that it was newborn, so it probably had extra energy. And yeah, like it's been said, I'm pretty sure Sora was already at Destiny Islands when Ven was there. Or rather...they happened to both "arrive" there at the same time. Purely by chance.

Also, I like your wicked picture. Just discovered teh soundtrack, am in love with ti ^^

I doubt it.. I think it's more like that he's a prophetical key blade master which enables him to do all that stuff. But for all we know any keyblade bearer can, we just ain't seen them do it. Ven couldn't merge with Terra cause he was with MX and Aqua was lost, so he found the light in sora.

I did say that this theroy was stupid; but it just can get out of my head. and maybe Kingdom Hearts the closest to Destiny Islands

How could someone live on a moon?

In counter to your comment; how could anyone live on a star?

Star?

Star?

The other worlds look like stars, and in the first game; they refer to them as stars

But they aren't.

and Kingdom Hearts is a moon.

The 2 times we saw it, it looked like a moon, and It wasn't far away.

Does our moon or sun look as far away as it really is?

Also; it could be an illusion

Ansem shot a laser on it.

And it looks way more closer than our sun or moon.

On Golden Ultima's side, remember when the X-Blade was being forged at the end of BBS how close Kingdom Hearts was when it appeared through the clouds?

But they aren't.

By that logic one could say that Kingdom Hearts isn't a moon but only looks like one.

Back to the topic at hand I believe Sora's home world really is the Destiny Islands but I think that world itself is a key world as it's the home world of the series's main protagonist (Sora) and antagonist (Master Xehanort) as well as that of the secondary protagonist (Riku) also it's the only world form KH1 whose keyhole has not yet been sealed (assuming of course that re-birthing the worlds didn't also seal open keyholes). It may also be the world in the realm of light closet to the realm of In-Between and therefore the closest on the light side to Kingdom Hearts (Twilight Town CO TWTNW and Traverse Town would be closer because they are In-Between and no worlds exist in RoD save for Kingdom Hears itself).

Also if souls go to the Underworld when people die then I believe hearts return to Kingdom Hearts.

Sorry this was long I've been thinking about this for a while and it kind of built up.
