Sounds really good but still not getting it. The game doesn't look that great in story and gameplay.

I sure hope they release the complete DLC of those soon, because I am not buying FF13-2 from each store haha

Aaahhhh they're all so tempting! I don't know if I should stick with my Amazon pre-order or hurry up and cancel it and pre-order from somewhere else...

 

I'm especially intrigued by the novella, but apparently the PS3 version is already sold out on Best Buy.

Oh really? Just look at how XIII ended up. It was a terrible game. The sequel doesn't look any different. Gameplay is still the same (except you can catch monsters), story is less interesting and more boring than XIII, and the endings suck. This game is just another way for SE to make a quick buck. I'll be waiting for an actual good FF game to be released. Such as FF Versus XIII, FFX, and FF Type-0. Now those are some good Final Fantasy games unlike the crap that is XIII-2.

u have no idea if Versus XIII will be good and ff13-2 is actualy better then what you say the gameplay is the same but improved and is more smooth the levling system is nice and the story is actually good

Um, I believe I do know abouyt Verus XIII. The gameplay is similiar to KH series, as well as the story will be better. Only improved thing on gameplay of XIII-2 is catching monsters as if they are pokemon. That's really lame of SE to do. They hardly improved anything on the gameplay. To me, it seems like this game isn't any better than XIII.

They'll most likely put Noel's stuff up on the PSN. Personally, I don't really care about Omega, but I won't be to disappointed if they don't put it up.

tutti frutti. I can see where KingdomHearts is coming from. I've played the demo myself as a way to give XIII-2 more of a chance, but to me it didn't really feel that different from the original XIII gameplay. Much like KingdomHearts capturing monsters, which is a complete and total copy of Pokemon, was added to the game. And then adding the quick-time feature isn't really new, especially if you have played games like God of War where you're pretty much to doing stuff like that in your sleep. To me Square just took the gameplay from the original at added stuff to it. The only real thing that I've noticed being different in XIII-2 was the leveling up system, and no summons. Plus when I found out that there was a "to be continued" at the end of the game that drew me away from the game even more knowing that the story to that part of the Crystal series isn't going to end with XIII-2.

All this comparing of FF XIII-2 to unreleased games is silly.

It also seems painfully obvious that at least a few people are trying really hard to dislike the game... which is perfectly valid, unless you haven't played it.
