I now trust you all.

Recommended Posts

I have been on these forums for about three-four months now, (I think it was october 3rd) and I have learned alot about you all. I love how open and honest you are about yourselves. You guys have to be the most fun people I have ever met. If I lived IN the internet, you can garentee this i s the place I would live. You guys are awesome, and you now have my full trust.

Now, seeing that I know I can trust you guys, I feel I need help. Recently, I have been depressed, due to the world being, well, the world. With all these Taxs, Bills, and other stuff you have to worry about, like Credit Score, and Structured Settlements, and Annuities, and Quotes (still have no Idea what these are) not too mention the added on pressure of schools, jobs, and family, and then there is the government making the stupid decisions its making, (Like Pizza being a vegestable, and SOPA/PIPA/ACTA) you know, stress upon stress, upon stress. At the school I am at, I have no friends, due to me being a Total Outcast, I'm different than them in a lot of ways. For example, I listen to Rock, they listen to Rap. But, my Point is, how do you deal with all the depression and stress?

P.S.

Forgive my spelling, and grammer.

Here's the way I look at it; didn't they have it worse during the Great Depression?

It's a silly answer, but it works for me. Just think of all that you do have and that you will get through things.

And sometimes, you just need to sit back, make a cup of hot cocoa, add just a bit more whipped cream than usual, grab a remote or a book, and not care about the rest of the world for an hour.

Hmmm, I guess that's a good way to put it. I never actually thought of that. Thanks. Maybe I do need a break of some kind.

Thanks for thinking that about us. I really love this place as well.

And about your depression -- I know it's pretty hard to 'live' nowadays, but if you stay thinking about everything, you probably might get sick. In my opinion, just let life guide you. And about the government's decisions, it's not your business, so you'd better just forget it.

I distract myself from my depression. And if I start thinking about it, my mind kicks in with something better, like kittens or giant robots.

It's worked for... holy crap, I've been depressed for 10 years! Now that's depressing. *goes back to XIII-2*
