i was playing bbs last night with aqua in critical cuz she was the only one i havent beaten the story with in critical.....anyway i beat the final bosses and i realized something....if xehanort is coming back then he will prolly still want to create the X-blade so my theroy is that sora will fall and summon the X-blade for xehanort after the mark of mastery and after everyone is "saved".......i thought it might be something interesting to see so please tell me what u guyz think

It's somewhat likely since it was his intentions in KHBBS .. and if Sora does manage to activate the darkness in his confusion there is a chance it will sync with Ventus' light .. but it seems like too much of a stretch.

You need a heart of pure light and a heart of pure darkness to forge the X-Blade. As much light side as Sora is, he doesn't have a heart of pure light. A more likely candidate would be Kairi, since she's a princess of heart and as such, has a heart of pure light.

I'm not sure he'll get the chance though, after all Nomura intends to end the Xehanort arc at KH3.

We don't know for sure, though I assume it does not, as he fused with Vanitas. It doesn't matter though, because it'd still need a heart of pure darkness, which Sora definitly doesn't have. There is darkness in his heart, but very little of it, which is why he became a Shadow Heartless.

yea, that's why i was thinking it's a long stretch, but is Vanitas really fused with him again? i thought the X blade broke because they failed to fully merge.

The only way for sora to be used as an ingredient for the X-blade is for it to be revealed that sora really did have a heart of pure light and that the darkness in his heart was due to a defeated vanitas who remerged with Ven.

So the true master of the X-blade has spoken.

Ven's heart is still in Sora, and apparently Vanitas is back. That gives us the ingredients for a X-blade. I'd imagine that if it does come back, it would be at the end of DDD or about midway through KH3.

What would that name be? Hahaha...cuz some people called the final boss for aqua venitas....

tutti frutti. I pretty sure that the X-Blade will return between KH3D and KH3, though I'm more so guessing KH3. Though I would think that Xehanort would need another candidate if not Ven and Vanitas again. But then again, the only ones I would think to keep the X-Blade in mind right now would be Mickey and Yen Sid. If Xehanort is going to recreate the X-Blade again, I would like to see how he's going to go through with that plan.
