I'm ashamed to say I've never completed KH1. ): Played it enough times, but never completed it (even though I know the ending).

But I can't get any further than that winged demon chernabog thing and I'm only on Normal Mode. After reading on the internet about how many boss battles there are at the end of this game I think I just lost the will to live, I have no idea how to get any further 'cause I keep dying. I'm almost Level 50 but I know that's not really high enough to make the battles any easier for me... any suggestions?

join the crowd man it was scary surprise for me once I beat the hades cup I had the choice for the platinum cup so decided to see what it was and I was wondering who I'd fight next as soon as the scene came and I saw sepiroth I was oh CRAP an he killed me in to hits of sword the masamune

The fireballs are easy to deflect use areo, it deflects them

Have alot of elixers on and roll, rolling always helps for some reason also spam some of your special moves on him

Okay yep, I have Oblivion, and 2 Elixirs/2 Megalixirs... And yeah, it's not the fire attack that seems to kill me, it's that one where he sends a bunch of... things after you. No idea what they're called. :L And I want to level up a bit but I don't know where to get the exp.points.

 

tutti frutti. I'm guessing its where Chernabog sends those orbs of ligh/crystals at you in his attack, you should be sure to have Aero on when he does that and try to fly away from those. Though you have to watch the move carefully while dodging it, you should have an ok time dodging the move. How fast you level up depends on the options on the earlier part of the game. Though I forget where exactly in the game, but if you get something like "You're adventure begins at dawn" you level up fast, if you get something like "You're adventure begins at night" then it would take forever to level up. My guess is to try and go for the synthesis, the accessories really help, and I find that it helps in taking my mind off of leveling up. If you can try fighting the Ice Titan, you can usually get a good chunk of exp points by deflecting his projectiles back at him. This helps since you don't have to worry about a game over.

Though I'm pretty sure that the fight with the Ice Titan is one of the last two Cups that you unlock, with the Platinum being the fight against Sephiroth. If I remember right there was an accessory that has the word "crown" in it's name, this accessory helps since it increase a wide variety of stats if not all of them.

Use Oblivion and put much of hi-potions and mega potions for goofy.

Do the Hades cup immediately! You get Lionheart which I think is the best keyblade...

Synthesizing is a good idea too...

Try smashing them with magic if brutal physical isn't working for you.

I had a harder time with this game than KH2.
