Okay, so, I am confused. I have read some things that young xehanort IS the Unknown and others were they still address unknown...as well...unknown! It's getting confusing. I just wanted to know if there has been any confirmation that if YMX is suppose to be the Unknown or if he/she (u never know) is someone else entirely. o.O

He is the unknown, but the whole "YMX" thing is just a theory.

The Mysterious Figure from KH BbS has been confirmed to be the Young Master Xehanort from recent trailers and scans.

However, whether this person is the original Master Xehanort in his youth or, some new person which for an unknown reason looks like Master Xehanort in his youth is still unknown.

Hope this cleared things up. If not, I'll try to explain it again differently. Hopefully someone in this thread will succeed in explaining.

Its confirmed that MF is Unknown...the boy with the gold eyes that LOOKS like a YMX ..However what 'version " of him is still not officially known just speculation.

Well Nomura hasn't confirmed this yet, but he stated the guy will cause trouble for Riku and Sora

he is called unknown we just call him YMX because they look similar and stuff

Yeah, Nomura only calls him unknown and has described him as a young man with gold eyes. YMX is the internet name for him right now, like how Roxas was called BHK when his name was unknown.

Well... Nothing new here

What he said.

Blonde haired kid (ah, nostalgia)

Anyway, I think the Unknown should be called "the guy who looks like YMX and may or may not actually be YMX"

Hmm, I do kinda like TGWLLYMXAMOMNABYMX. Nice and short.

BHK?

I think in a way, Unknown is YMX, but different. Maybe MX had gone to the RoS when he was young and training to be a Keyblade Master with Eraqus and left a part, or many parts, of him behind, and the YMX in KH3D is one of those copies. The same could be said for Ansem SoD and Xemnas because they are technically MX and have left a part of themselves behind for his plan when they were active from KH to KHII. MX said in Blank Points in BBS that he planted many seeds, and Yen Sid did say he was a genius Keyblade Master.
