As you all know, the ah-mazing book, The Hunger Games is becoming a movie in March. This is one of the best books I have ever read, and I decided to make a Hunger Games RP. This is my first RP, so everyone just bear with me.


Rules:
1. Normal KH rules, no godmodding, no controlling other peoples chacater without permission etc.
2. Only one chacater per person.
3. Only two people per district, but they do not have to be one boy and one girl, just to make it easier on us.
4. Be creative! Exp. If 7 people are using a bow, try and use another weapon. Let's have some variety!
5. No killing, I know that is the main purpose of the Hunger Games, but please keep reading.
6: During the Hunger Games, you can make allinances with other people, you don't have to, but you all are working for the same goal and greater good.
7. Follow The Hunger Games rules (the ones I haven't already broken which means, no item such as a ring with a poisoned spike and such as your item from the district, the 'unwritten rule' which is don't eat other people, don't kill yourself (refer to rule #5)
8. Keep cussing to a very, very, very small minium
9. Keep it to a PG-13 level
10. You need a Capitol representative, two mentors (unless you choose 12) a prep team, and stylist. When deciding your clothes, refer back to rule #9 (If you choose 12 as your district, Cinna and/or Portia may be your stylist, Haymitch your mentor, Effie your Capitol rep. and Octavia, Flavius, and Venia as your prep team.)

Story

Its reaping day. You walk outside, hungry, or well-clothed. Some are anxious to be picked, others pray not so they keep their familes alive. They draw the names, and yours is called. You walk up, whether head held high or shaking with fear. When you arrive at the Capitol, you find the other contesants plan to break out of the Hunger Games. The world is watching, and you will be making the hugest rebellion to the Capitol ever. Happy Hunger Games.

Name: Sara Sapphire

Age:18

Gender: Female

Appearance: 5'7'' Red shoulder-length hair, tan skin, wears anything black, so black shirts and black pants.

Bio: Sara grew up in the wealthy District 1 with her father and two younger brothers, and one younger sister. Her mother passed away when she was about 8, so she grew up to be quite the mother-figure to her siblings. Her sister was originally going to volunteer to join the Games but knowing she wouldn't stand a chance against the others and after seeing her boyfriend die in the last Hunger Games, Sara offered to be a tribute.

District: 1

Personality: Calm, Quiet yet spunky when she feels like it. At first she seems selfish and rude but that's only because she doesn't want to get hurt. She can be friendly once you've gotten to know her but it takes some time for her to get close to others.

Weapons: Daggers, bow

Opinion of the Capitol: After seeing her boyfriend die in the last hunger games, she hates the Capitol. She doesn't care if they are the reason for her luxury and comfort in District 1. Sara blames his death on the Capitol and wants to end the hunger games.

Item from District: A sapphire necklace from her boyfriend who died in the last hunger games.

Name: Golden Chalice (Dead serious. LOL according to the books, the people in the richer districts have really stupid names, right?)

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Appearance: Taller than average at 5'8”, long, dirty-blonde hair, gray eyes, and well-toned, athletic figure. Usually wears soft, form-fitting shirts and flowy skirts that go down to just above the knee, but of course her attire changes for the Games, whatever the outfit is that all the contestants are supposed to wear in the arena.

Bio: Coming from one of the “Career” districts, Golden has been training most of her life for the Hunger Games in the case that she might be reaped. This year, her name has been picked, and she has no doubt she'll win the Games. Back home, she never had any real friends—she would only hang out with people who could get her better social status or what have you, and it was usually the same situation with those who would hang out with her. She's not close to her parents at all, who were always too busy with work to build a good relationship with her. Now, unbeknownst to Golden, her parents regret all the lost time.

District: 1

Personality: Arrogant and haughty, Golden believes she's superior to others, thinks only of herself most of the time. For as long as she can remember, she's had it pounded in her head not to trust others except in formal alliances, but to never let her sympathy toward others get in the way of achieving her own end goal.

Weapons: Exceptionally good with short rods to bludgeon victims with, as well as spears.

Opinion of the Capitol: She could care less about the Capitol or any other political agendas. She's on the side of whichever benefits her more, and for now, it's the Capitol, since she's been able to live in luxury her whole life thanks to the corrupt system. But if the Capitol should happen to turn its back on her, you can bet she'll be set against it.

Item from District: A miniature chalice made of pure gold that can fit into her palm

Appearance:

Bio: When was young, Melody loves making small scythe made out of wood or stone in the forest and practice swinging it around, even killed some small animals with it. Her parents were afraid that the Capitol would go after them if she kept doing it, so they all got rid of her hand made scythe. She lives in a farm with her parents no siblings. During free time, her dad would show her the animals and teach every single thing about them.

District: 10

Personality: Shy to strangers, but thinks everyone is a friend to her.

Weapons: Scythe and spear

Opinion of the Capitol: She hates the Hunger Games and wishes the Capitol never existed.

Bio: Silver was a mayor's daughter. Silver was raised in a sheltered environment. Her only outlet was the games. She made it her goal to get onto the games. Silver was popular in school. She trained behind the Hob in swordsmanship and her own martial art, Neenai. Neenai revolves around using your opponent or your surronding to their full advantage.

Weapons: Sword and Neenai

Personality: Outgoing, mischievous.

Opinion of the Capitol: Neutral

District: 4

Item from District: Broken hilt of her first sword.

Mentor: Sora

Stylist: Riku

Prep Team: Namine, Kairi, Aqua

 

I've only read the first one, but I think that is enough info to join. I believe that 4 is the other rich district.

Sorry for not posting anything in the RP, i had to take my computer in to get it fixed. And if someone could give me a little where we are at now would be most helpful.

Also, Rikuva, District 4 is the fishing district, where my character is from.

Rikuva, you missed something in the rules, fix that and you'll be in, and the edit button thing isn't working right now so ill just post it here because appartently I forgot to close one of the slots in District 4.

Okay, I just read through all the rules a few times and I'm not seeing anything, could you please specify it? Is a broken hilt too dangerous?

@frenchfrey That dosen't tell me if it is one of the Districts that careers come from.

@Rikuva, Districts 1,2, and 4 are typically the career districts, as they are the more wealthier ones. But any tribute could be part of the careers.
