Posted March 11, 201213 yr kairi needs to become a playable character and use the Destiny's Embrace keyblade as her default weapon. Maybe before she leaves Destiny islands to go on her own journey she could have little boss fights like every other kh game. And maybe Aqua could be her Master for training like Eraqus was to TAV. On a seperate note does anyone remember the BbS FM secret episode? kairi was at the Twilight Town mansion with Hayner Pence and Olette? Maybe she'l start her playable character journey there.
March 23, 201213 yr @ DenizenofTwilight those fans that complain about Kairi being a useless character while simultaneously denying her the chance to prove herself are probably SoXRi yaoi fangirls who would prefer it if she had never existed at all. I think (and hope) that Kairi is being put on the back burner for a reason, so as to make her return even more exciting. Personally I'm hoping for a long awaited kiss at the end of KH3
March 24, 201213 yr That would suck. /thread IT WOULD SUCK! i would cry if they do that http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smiley-cry.png http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smiley-cry.png http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smiley-cry.png
March 26, 201213 yr I don't like kairi because she seems helpless all the time.plz don't make me play her square
March 26, 201213 yr I don't like kairi because she seems helpless all the time.plz don't make me play her square But if she was playable and she could fight for herself, that would mean that she isn't "helpless". Do you see the reasoning behind your statement? No.

March 27, 201213 yr But if she was playable and she could fight for herself, that would mean that she isn't "helpless". Do you see the reasoning behind your statement? No. I absolutely love Kairi... but I'm pretty sure she can't summon her own keyblade. We saw her use it for like 5 seconds in KH2 but she never even had it out again, even when Xemnas wanted to see the keyblade wielders, she stayed behind
March 27, 201213 yr YES! Oh my gosh, that's the thing that bothers me the most about Kingdom Hearts. Especially the games as of late. Like J. Severe said, they're supposed to be a trio. Not a duo. I highly believe Kairi is meant to be Aqua's successor (like Riku's Terra's and Sora's Ven's), but she needs to get some screen time soon. She's falling into the background more and more which is sad. She was so cool at first, and now she's a rather flat character. It also seems out of character to me that she'd stay behind. In KH2 she was like, "I'm sick of being left behind. From now on, wherever one of us goes the other follows." She obviously wants to help, so I don't see why she doesn't. And, honestly, I think Nomura may have her fight in whatever BbSV2 is. I hope. It just bothers me that she's supposed to be the main girl, but everyone else is so much more important than her. And they also seem to be pretending things that happened with her occured with other people. Like how Riku tells Quasi that Sora saw the real him. Umm... it was Kairi that realized it was Riku and not Xehanort's Heartless in TWTNW. Kairi doesn't get enough credit. Her being a playable character would make things more even. Really it's ridiculous that everyone else has been playable and more credited than her. If nothing else, put her in the game more and give her some character development. And you know what I don't get? Fans complains that she's useless and yet, when someone voices making her a playable character (as to make her better), they protest that, too. I really wish people would make more sense, and be more reasonable about Kairi. Anyway... This post completes me.

We saw her use it for like 5 seconds in KH2 but she never even had it out again, even when Xemnas wanted to see the keyblade wielders, she stayed behind We don't know the extent of Kairi's powers and wheter she can summon a keyblade or not (I would assume that she could, bc she has the ability to use the keyblade, riku gave her a keyblade that she was able to use, meaning that the keyblade accepted her bc she had a strong enough heart). I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I recall what scene you're referring to? Is it the scene where Mickey, Sora, and Riku all raise their keyblades together at the end of KH2 in the top of the castle that never was? If so, then it would make sense that Kairi didn't step up bc she was a brand new keyblade wielder.
March 27, 201213 yr The first thing I would do if I got to control her would be to get her killed and start laughing about how Sora failed her.
April 11, 201213 yr Author Well, it looks like Kairi's gonna get her chance. Have you watched the secret ending for KH 3D:DDD?
