It was disabled due to the high traffic.

Too many people online made the site crash too much.

It's been removed for a bit because the site was experiencing mass lag. :(

As I said, it was disabled for now.

It's probably for the best that it has been temporairly been disabled. There has been an unusually large amount of traffic on the site for the past two days.

I like having the chat, but if its due to lag, then it's ok to remove, at least we still have PM right?

For now, it's disabled, and there is no optional function as far as I know. I think it'll be running in the next few days, though, so don't fret.
