Summer has begun. For the kids of Twilight Town, that means no school and fun. For some, however, this summer will hold other things as well. A growing conflict is happening outside their world that they know nothing about, yet they will be drawn into it. Fate waits. Who is called?

 

 

Rules:

1: No controlling other peoples characters without their permission.

2: Keep language, romance, gore and so forth on a PG13 level.

3: No Godmodding unless it works for the story.

4: Maximum of 3 characters currently.

5: No killing each other without mutual permission.

6: Please post "Inbetween" at the bottom of your post to show you read the rules.

Key Concepts:

• This game starts at about the time Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream, Drop, Distance begins.
• The game starts with a group of kids in Twilight Town.
• Magic and actual weapons will come in as we play, so work it into your story.
• Your starting character can originally be from another world, but they are now a resident of Twilight Town.
• To start, travel between the worlds is not possible for the kids. This will open up as the story goes on.
• As the story goes on, I will allow players to make characters that are already Keyblade wielders, adventurers and so forth.
• Square Enix took and reimaged favorite Final Fantasy characters to fit KH worlds (i.e. Tidus, Waka, Seifer...). Don't be afraid to do the same with any Sqaure Enix, Disney or whatever character you want to bring in.

Personality: A little cold, tough, determined, and protective.

 

Bio: A highschool student known for her athletic ability, Claire Farron is an indepented girl that has few friends. Protective of her little sister, Serah, Claire learned to fight off bullies to protect Serah. Her skill at it lead to her tacking up practice fighting and she is currently practicing for the next Struggle tournament. She gained the nickname "Lightning" for her fast and powerful fighting style.

Personality: Too himself he is quiet, but he is nice and generous, but if pushed he will lose his temper quickly

Bio: Dexer is trying to live up his last year of high school which will be there by the end of summer. Dexer is very strong though you can't tell just looking at him. Dexer is also very poor and loves the game of struggle for his 8th birthday his mom who works at a factory where they build struggle bats surprised him with his only present for the year which was a deformed struggle bat. It was really long compared to a normal one and it was really wide while the blue part was all squiggly and such. Ever since he received it he has never kept it away. He has been in many victories with that bat and has never gotten rid of it. Dexer also works in the local treat shop in the central area to help him and his mom survive

(Alright, the game is starting. We'll just do it in this thread. My time on might be a little spoty, so don't be afraid to advance the story without me. I've played with most of y'all before, and y'all are good gamers.)

 

Lightning swung her Struggle bat in a circular pattern as she planed out in her head what combo of moves she was going to do next. She then, in a flash, jumped forward and slashed the old bag filled with pellows she used as a practice dummy. She slashed a few more times then flipped away. During her flip, she jabbed back to hit the bag with the tip of her baton as way of a parting blow. She landed on her feet and glared at the bag.

"It's not going to come after you." Serah, Lightning's little sister, commented.

She was smiling at her big sister and Lightning knew she was just messing with Lighting.

"It helps to get in the habit for live opponents." Lightning said, twirlling the baton around, then sticking it behind her. "You should have seen how well that worked on Rai the other day."

Said the strange man in Brown, Looking from a corner at Lightning, Training herself with her Struggle Bat, While crossing his arms before deciding to head off from out of the corner, In a opposite direction to both Lightning and Serah, To parts unknown, Or rather, To another place in Twilight Town maybe.

A young man walked into the two sisters training in the sandlot. He was planning on just using it as a shortcut to get into town, but he couldn't help himself but watch as the taller of the two sisters performed a perfect backflip without effort. He waited until it seemed she was done with practicing and then began to clap slowly, alerting the two to his presence.

A teenage girl, being her usual self, skateboarding around and looking around at what people are doing. Minding her own business, she skateboarded towards the sandlot and stopped before she could get any closer to the three people standing there. A little girl, an older one, and a guy she thought. Probably brothers and sisters. She soon felt bad, since she has no family of her own.

Lightning gave the boy who had come into the Sandlot an assessing look. He didn't look like he was going to be a problem, but one always had to be careful. Seifer had a way of getting weaker kids to do his bidding.

"Can I help you?" she asked in a neutral tone.

Lightning then turned her head to see a girl on a skateboard roll in.

"And I thought we wouldn't be bothered." she thought to herself.

Vanille wondered around Twilight Town looking lost. She couldn't remember anything from before she woke up on the beach next to the town. She was looking for some friends, to blend in.

"Where is everyone?" Vanille thought.

She walked through the town until she entered a area called "Sandlot"

Vanille hid behind the corner of a wall and watched the kids play. One girl, that looked the toughest was standing in front of the other kids.

After a while of watching she decided to introduce herself.

Vanille jumped out from behind the wall. "Hiya! I'm Vanille!"

"Sorry if I'm bothering you. I was just skateboarding around and came here," she said in the sweetest tone she could do. She turned around to hear a girl's voice. "Hi, I'm Lexi," she replied to the girl. She jumped off her skateboard and was holding it between her arms and stomach, as she is watching everybody else.

Vanille smiled and ran towards Lexi. "What's happening?" Vanille asked.

Vanille looked up and saw the tough looking girl attacking a practice dummy. "Who is that?" Vanille pointed at the girl.

Yuffie was spinning one of her shurikens on her finger while walking. So quiet today, she thought, where is everyone? She walked down that long hill and made it to the enterence of the sandlot. Yuffie saw some people she reconize from around town. She stopped the shurijen and placed it on her pouch. Time to go greet some people, she thought and walked on over to them

"Nothing much just skateboarding around, and for them," pointing at the group,"ummm, I really don't know. I was thinking they were like brother and sisters," she said while scratching the back of her head. "But it's nice to meet you Vanille," she said sticking her hand out towards her.

"I'm Lightning." Lightning greeted Vanille.

Lately, she had been finding it easier to introduce herself like that then use her real name.

"And I'm Serah." Lightning's little sister chimmed in. "You're new in town?"

Lightning suppressed a grimace. Some much for simply walking away.

"It's nice to meet you Lightning and Serah," she said with kindess. "I've been in this town my whole life, but nobody really notices me. What about you Vanille?," she asked turing her head towards her.

Vanille was happy to have made friends already but was surprised when Lexi asked about her past. "Umm.... I.... umm have always lived here. All my life." Vanille answered, trying to sound honest.

Bio: While details about how he ended up in Twilight Town are hazy, Noctis does know that he was talking to someone before he lost consciousness and ended up in the town.

Stuff: A mysterious crystal inside of him, two struggle bats (even though he only uses one).

"Mmmmm, okay," she replied even though she knew she was lying. "It seems like there is nobody out here except for us," she said while looking at all corners and shadowed areas as possible.

Dexer's boss handed him some left over pastries and closed down the shop. Dexer threw on his apron and had his struggle bat attached to a strap on his back. He saw these three girls talking and he decided to see if they wanted to the excess pastries that they didn't sell. "Excuse me ladies, would ya'll like some free cupcakes. The treat shop didn't sell these by closing time so ya'll can have these extra's if you want"

Vanille saw a boy walk up behind her. "Oh yum, yes please." Vanille said.

Vanille grabbed the cupcake out of the boys hand and shoved it down her throat, like she hadn't eaten in years.

She turned to face the guy who walked up to us. "Thank you! That is so generous." Lexi took the cupcake and took a bite out of it. She looked over to see Vanille nearly eat the cupcake whole. She giggled at the sight of it and looked back at the guy. "So, who are you?"

Dexer slipped the pan into his apron and dusted dough off of his apron. "Oh I am Dexer Reed, I work up in the treat shop. I'm glad ya'll enjoyed those cupcakes, ya'll should come up to the shop more often, we need all the customers we can get. So feel free to come by some time." He then saw how Vanille scarfed down the cupcake and laughed "i'm sorry I don't have any more but I guess I can go run in make more, ya'll are welcome to come with me if you want?"

"Thank you!" Vanille gasped, after swallowing her cupcake. "I want to come with you!"

Vanille jumped to Dexer's side and grabbed his hand. "Can I come with you..... pleasee!"

After seeing Vanille's excitement, Lexi was full on laughing. "I'll come too. My treat," she offered. "I just hope I don't spend all of my money on cupcakes," she thought to herself.

(Sigh. One of the reasons I don't like RPing with people in different time zones. If you guys ever need my character later on, please feel free to use him, okay?)

 

Balthier chuckled. "Wow, so many lovely young ladies and cakes as well. It must be my lucky day. Good evening ladies, my name is Balthier." He said, warmly and politely giving them all a confident smile.

Vanille wanted more food but also wanted to make some new friends. "Hiya Balthier! I'm Vanille!" Vanille said cheerfully turning towards the man. "We are going to get some cup cakes! Come with us."

Vanille walked over to Balthier. "Can he come with us?" Vanille asked Dexer.

"I would be happy to Vanille. I can have some cup cakes can't I?" Balthier asked, still keeping his charming and confident persona going on, not faltering for a second. 'Just a little more...' he thought to himself.
