Posted April 6, 201213 yr So according to birth by sleep, in order to use a keyblade you have to touch one. In kingdom hearts II jack sparrow touches sora's keyblade. So does that mean he's a keyblade wielder? Comments, thoughts.

April 6, 201213 yr Author Look some stuff up on the wiki sight. According to it, "All the master must do is test the strength of the one they have chosen by allowing him or her to hold their Keyblade. If the Keyblade also approves of the heir, it will stay in the heir's hand and not automatically return to the master." When sora handed the keyblade to jack, it didn't go back right away until he summoned it back.
April 6, 201213 yr Also does Nomura want a disney character to weild a keyblade? You mean aside from Mickey? Nah, I'm pretty sure it'd just clutter up the already slightly confusing story line. That makes perfect sense for a fanfic, though.

When Jack touched it, it faded back almost immediately, with no action on Sora's part (Note that Leon was the one to return Sora's keyblade, and Sora had to prove he was worthy to get his keyblade back from Riku)
