This is sort of a sequel to Final Fantasy: Incarcerated. It takes place in the same world, the world knows about these Final Fantasy heroes, and Joy is missing. Calder is searching out new heroes, and the time to take action has come. Now Kingdom Hearts heroes and villains are rising.

Yeah, going along with what Azure Flame said, I think the point is to have the same weapon as the KH/FF characters have... Besides, I think it would just be more fun that way. But I ultimately have no real say in this matter, so...

I think your right about the Young Xehanort bit but since the No Name was featured in Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep which has been out now for a good while, I don't think the No Name Keyblade could be a problem.

It could still lead to spoilers, it's best to just pick someone from the other games.

I agree with Azure Flame. Ultimately, it's Number XV's call, but I for one am super picky about KH3D spoilers, even very minor ones.
