It seems in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep it revealed how Ventus and Roxas are connected to each other. While in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance it was revealed that Nobody can house Hearts.

But that didn't explain how Naminé fit into things. I mean the reason Roxas's appearance and had a Heart is because of Ventus. But what about Naminé who is she based on and how is she able to have a Heart? Maybe the reason why Naminé's hair is blonde, looks like Kairi, and had a Heart is all because of Kairi, and Ventus who knows? Kairi's Heart is at her own and Roxas house Ventus's Heart it doesn't make sense.

Maybe it will explain in Kingdom Hearts III.

Probably doesnt matter, just another loose end Nomura has to make some excuse to tie up.

namine has a heart?

maybe the same reason xemnas dosent look exactly like terranort?

WIthout Namine their will be no Kairi (Correct me if i'm wrong)

namine has a heart?

It's implied that she has real emotions, ie guilt and loneliness. Also, at the end of Sora's story in Re:CoM, she cries a single teardrop, just like Axel did when talking with Roxas and Roxas at Xion's death (there were actually a few tears); Namine, like Roxas, didn't have any memories of being Kairi, so she didn't know how to fake emotions or anything like that. Whether or not she actually has a heart technically has not been confirmed (and in many circles, actually not questioned much...), but it's pretty obvious that she has some form of one.

The whole theme of kingdom hearts is pretty much hearts where you wouldn't think they would be, particularly when Sora is involved.

Nomura did say in an interview that he doesn't like things to be too structured in the plotline and wants to leave things to the imagination, so until it's actually confirmed, the status of Namine's heart is pretty much up to us :P

I personally think that the unique way she was created played the biggest part; just the fact that she's the nobody of a princess of heart is very unique. Then they have all those statements about how she lacked the body and memories that normally pieced together a nobody...like Roxas, there's probably more subplot there :P Alhtough unlike Roxas, Namine's appearance is 100% based on Kairi, just different hair color.

I suppose you also have to consider other factors, ie Namine and Kairi both existed at the same time, which also flies in the face of all theories. Namine's an anomaly 100% is the problem, same with Roxas. Note though that Nomura stated before that nobodies don't age, while Namine was shown to obviously age between kh1 and kh2 (and because re:com came out initially with kh2 final mix, it was done on purpose, although again it could just be because Kairi grew up to and she was keeping pace with her)

Well in Kingdom Hearts 3D it is Revealed that Nobodies can grow hearts by "faking" (imitating) emotions...she was surrounded by nobodies that were faking emotions. Maybe she faked emotions too and grew a heart! :)

From what i heard in Kingdom Hearts 3D, Nobodies can actually grow hearts of their own. Xemnas, Xigbar, Roxas, Namine, etc they all have their own hearts. That's why Xemnas and Xehanort appeared simultaneously I think. I have a theory that Roxas and Ventus look like each other because when Sora got Roxas as Nobody, Ven's heart (that was in Sora) went to Roxas. It's just a guess, we'll only get to the truth in KHIII
