Does anyone know how long a PS2 can run without breaking?

Featured Replies

depend on how well you treat the system. if you take care of it, it can run for many years. Bottom Line, there is no set number of years

again there is no set number for that depend on how well the system is, but i would recommend not doing that cause you risk overheating the system

you know when you are playing as a shadow an you can't save? Well I wouldn't be playing for another week and if I turn it off I'll lose a lot of progress

Tough luck, lol. Unless you want to risk breaking your system, turn it off.

in kh just keep jumping down you dont stay as a shadow very long. Also if you have to wait a week then pray to god your system is good and doesnt crash. Also pray the power doesnt go out

Is it really worth risking overheating your system because you don't want to lose the progress and Riku again? You can beat him again and the scene afterwards is awesome. If the system overheats you won't get to play ANYTHING on it anymore.

I left KH2 on for over a week once. But I have a really good setup, my consoles are right next to an air conditioner, so the odds of overheating are lessened (At least I assume so, none of my consoles have overheated anyways)

I guess is a good game system, But you can't always leave it on the whole time. (it will burn or something)
