I know I shouldn't be asking you guys because you'll say stuff like "research it yourself" or something, but I trust everyone here and not people on ign because of the score KH2 received (and other reasons)...those bastards, but anyway I want to ask what people think of the games. I know lots of people hated 13 but I've heard 13-2 was better and vice versa. So, would anyone recommend either of the two? I want to know the flaws and strengths of them. Now I don't want every single one, just ones that bug you or things you really like about it. Big things. Thanks!

Yes. The actual towns in XIII-2 were nice.

I'd also say that XIII-2 has a sillier plot, it's a lot less serious than XIII, unless it's a serious moment (Like the ENDING)

Also, XIII-2 is a lot like the older FFs, so if you like those...

trust me, i understand. i LOVE kingdom hearts 2. but, reading the article i agree with the points. the author said that his biggest problem with the game was how easy it was and that magic was completely unnecessary. he did however say that he loved kingdom hearts 1 and chain of memories, but kingdom hearts 2 disappointed him a bit, with the ease of the combat system. he complimented the camera over kingdom hearts 1, though. lol

well i like FF13 and FF13-2. 13-2 is so much better than 13, but if you are going to play 13-2 then you really should sit and play 13 first so i recommend playing before. You can find 13 for good deal and i know amazon has 13-2 on sale

they're supposed to conclude the story with DLC. however, i did like the dark and original ending. i just thought it was weird that the sort of "happy" music continued to play despite what was going on. lol

at the end it says "to be continued." the developers said that didn't mean a part 3. instead it meant a number of things. such as, the paradox endings and the extension of the story through DLC. despite, that not 100% for sure meaning that there will be an "extended ending," that's what i take out of it. i could be wrong, but that's what it sounds like to me.

Yeah I HATED the camera in KH1 ad I guess KH2 is a bit easy but Magic is very good. Use Magnega+Thundaga when lvling up and it goes by VERY fast! Especially if you have high Magic. I may consider doing a lvl 1 run on FM now

yeah, but it's not at all necessary. lol you can beat kingdom hearts 2 EASILY without using magic even once. or at least, offensive magic. don't get me wrong i still love kingdom hearts 2 and at the moment it is my second favorite in the series.

Yeah I know, it only stuns some bosses (like Blizzard on the grim reaper) and does more damage to certain enemies. Like Demyx and Fire! I depleted 6of his health bars in like 5 seconds in Final Form spamming Firaga. (In Final Mix)

Final Fantasy XIII is rather unlike many of it's predecessors, for better or worse. Lightning is often hailed as a female version of Cloud from FF VII, and with good reason. Vanille is incredibly ditzy and flirts with everyone at all times. Fang is serious and a little arrogant, but one of the more interesting characters. Hope is annoying for a while in the game, then he's fine (not just a personal opinion, nearly everyone agrees). Snow is arrogant and thinks himself a hero, but is struggling on the inside. Sazh is a good, happy, fatherly character. All of the characters have moments of lightheartedness, but mostly there's just a ton of angst. Not that there's anything wrong with any of the characters or that the angst is unfounded, but there is a considerable amount of it. The weapon upgrade system is a little lacking and the excessive useless loot becomes annoying.If you're a fan of fast paced and energetic combat then you'll love FF XIII... after you've gotten through the first several hours of cutscenes and tutorials, that is. The story moves along at a good clip, but your characters can't do much until nearly halfway through the game. There isn't much exploration until after Alexander is defeated, but then there's almost too much all at once. The game does have a slight pacing issue in terms of many things such as the exploration, battle mechanics, battle difficulty, and character development. Many people dislike the summons of the game, but that's a matter of personal opinion. The story has real weight behind it and manages to have a heavy impact on the entire world the characters inhabit, but still focuses on the six characters in your primary party. Many people dislike the "auto-battle" feature, but considering most of the strategy comes from the paradigm shifts, it really doesn't make the game as unnecessarily simple as people believe it would. Additionally, you may chose to hand select the abilities you use in battle. Due to the lack of mp, spells may be cost freely to flashier extent than in previous games, but it isn't made cheap nor overpowered. I covered most of the "struggling inside" under the section where I referred to the immense amount of angst. About the Vanille flirting thing, she just seemed to have a really flirty behavior and threw herself at both Hope and Sazh on multiple occasions. It wasn't that she necessarily liked either of them or that she wanted to be with them, she just acted very flirty around them. I thought that she seemed incredibly flirty around the entire cast, but that may have just been my perceptions.

Well as a beginning before I say anything, u should get FFXIII first.

FFXIII got a better graphic, more characters (Fang,Vanille,Snow,Sazh and Hope) to play as, but FFXIII problems is that the missions are boring, no people, stuck in some places and u can't get back to previous places, plus no puzzles.

I am talking about classic party members, reeeal party members (human) as every FF game, about the story I meant that it's hard to understand what's going on if u didn't play FFXIII, Snow wont be a party member until the end and not all people download the DLC stuff, plus having them is kinda like monsters way cuz they are not playable.

As I said before, not everyone can download the DLC stuff, plus FFXIII got the characters without even paying to download them.
