When Riku defeated Nightmare Keyblade Armor it seems he's using the Kingdom Key. While he is waking up to return to the real world he summons the Kingdom Key Keyblade as if its his own. Maybe Riku has proven himself worthy to wield the Kingdom Key just as he was worthy to become a Keyblade Master. I guess what I'm saying is that will Riku use the Kingdom Key Keyblade as his Keyblade? Since after he wakes about it didn't show if he still use Way to Dawn or Kingdom Key. Maybe it will show in Kingdom Hearts III.

 

While Sora can still wield it. Maybe its because it think Sora is also worthy along with Riku and that people can wield the same type of Keyblade its not proven but its not disprove either.

riku was the original kingdom key master remember. but i don't think he can summon it how sora can/or taking it off sora. but i think he was using it as a symbolic thing when he goes into soras heart and unlocks his heart etc.

XDDDD, vens already awake from what i seen. and Aquas in RoD. BUT i do think terra will be in need of that power.

1. They need to relearn the proper way to use a Keyblade and they need to take the MoM while doing this to show proper mastery

2. They need the 7 Keyholes of Sleep to possibly gain a new power that can aid them in the upcoming fight with Xehanort

Mainly due to two identical characters.....unless one of them dies or something it would just be too weird for future games after KH3 .

nope, while i agree it would be nice if they brung them back, i'd be disappointed if they ruined another emotional scene just to go, hey i am back. Whereas if he gives them a very deep meaning which helps so much with KH3 i won't be. i am kinda disappointed in the lea return.

well i can see what you are saying with Xion/ Roxas i cant agree about Lea Im extremely biased on that .. Plus at least Lea adds a lot to the series IMHO
