PROLOGUE:

(A large castle sits in the distance. The remnants of a once beautiful city sit at the foot of the castle. A large group of undead and people, who are still alive, are ravaging the city, killing off the remaining citizens. A group of the undead breaks off from the city rushing into the distance. They are rushing toward a lone woman. She appears to be in her late 30s, early 40s. This woman has short blonde hair, glistening silver armor, and a thin scar on her left cheek. She appears to be war-torn and depressed. She clutches the cross necklace, embracing her neck. She tugs on it, ripping the necklace. Her hand glows with a white light and the cross expands in size. She lowers her hand and a blade extends out of one end of the cross. She glares at the oncoming group of undead. She extends her free hand and releases a flurry of ice. The group becomes encased in ice. She rushes at them and cuts them down, as they are powerless to stop her. Many of the other monsters in the city see her coming and decide to greet her. She doesn’t slow down, ready to end this. She cuts through a few of the first monsters and then starts waving her hand around and mumbling under her breath. A lightning bolt strikes down, paralyzing a large chunk of the army. She continues on, shredding the undead, mercilessly. She appears to have the upper hand for a while, but then their numbers begin to overwhelm her. Undead monsters rise from the group, adding to her problems. One of the undead monsters clubs her in the face, knocking her to the ground. She quickly looks up to see that they’ve surrounded her. But, a flurry of arrows tears through each of their skulls. Suddenly, the woman is scooped up off the ground by a large heavy-set man.)

Woman: Matt! You showed up!

(The woman wraps her arms around his neck, as tears pour down her cheeks.)

Matt: Yeah I did! You should’ve never come here by yourself!

(Flurries of arrows continue to spray down on the undead around them. The woman stops hugging him and he sets her down.)

Woman: I had no other choice, you guys wouldn’t help me!

Matt: Then you shouldn’t have come at all!

Woman: And just let them win, after everything they’ve done! No thanks.

(She turns and picks up her cross/sword. An arrow soars past her head and into the skull of an undead, running up behind her.)

Woman: I can see that Rusty’s here.

(Rusty waves at them, from atop the nearby cliff. He’s a thin, tall guy, with a bow and arrow and a deadly aim.)

Matt: We were worried about you. It seems that we had a right to be.

Woman: Thanks for your help, but it would’ve been nice to know that I had it in the first place.

Matt: I’m sorry. But, this is a big job for just the three of us. Things ain’t what they use to be. What makes you think you can take this guy down, if even HE couldn't?

Woman: …I’m not sure that I can. But, I have to. If I don’t do it now, he’s only going to get stronger.

(She rushes into the city, prepared to face the undead army.)

Matt: Dammit, this is no time to be stubborn!

(Matt rushes after her, helping her take down the undead army. Between the two of them, they make it look like a piece of cake. She slices them apart and Matt punches them in the face, smashing their skulls in.)

Matt: If you think you have what it takes then get your ass over here! You don’t have time to waste your strength on these idiots!

(She nods her head and rushes toward Matt. Matt scoops her up and tosses her toward the castle. She mumbles something under her breath and the castle wall collapses, allowing her to soar inside, unharmed. She lands just beneath a set of spiraling stairs. She quickly makes her way up the stairs, stopping outside a massive set of double doors. She takes a deep breath, as a tear runs down her cheek.)

Woman: It finally ends here. I’m just sorry that it has to end like this…

(She kicks the doors in and readies her sword. She sees a thin silver-haired man clothed in skin-tight black clothes, turned away from her. He is looking out at the city.)

Man: It’s been too long, Eva.

Lets see Eva and Ben kick some ass too !

CHAPTER 24:

INT. THE BARRACKS-AFTERNOON

(Daniel enters the barracks and walks up to Eva.)

Daniel: Because you are the first woman to be recruited into the Brotherhood, the King has decided that he will leave it up to you, whether or not you would like to have your hair cut.

Eva: I’d rather not, honestly.

Daniel: Alright, as you were.

(Daniel leaves the barracks, while Eva quickly becomes confused by Daniel’s formal tone.)

EXT. SERIAH-DAWN

(Daniel, Henry, and the recruits are running around Seriah. Ben is up front, followed by most of the other recruits. Eva is close to the back, but she is still ahead of a few of the recruits. She appears to be giving it her all, but she is not use to such strenuous activity. Daniel and Henry are easily leading the pack. Daniel looks back to see his brother, he smiles, but then looks further back and barely sees Eva. His smile fades. He slows down and runs next to Eva.)

Daniel: PICK IT UP, BRADFORD!

(Eva looks at Daniel, frustrated. She widens her stride and pushes herself to pass the recruit directly in front of her. Daniel speeds up, retaking his position next to Henry. Henry looks at Daniel, taking in the situation.)

EXT. THE BARRACKS-MORNING

(Eva and Ben are practicing their swordplay with fake swords. Ben is clearly the more proficient swordsman. Ben pushes Eva back. He eases up a bit, realizing that he is overwhelming her. Daniel walks up and stops Ben’s blade with his hand. He looks Ben in the eyes.)

Daniel: Do not hold back, simply because your opponent is weaker than you. It is not your fault that you have the advantage. This is training and you are doing neither yourself nor your comrade any good if you hold back. Do I make myself clear?

Ben: Yes, sir.

Daniel: Now return to your stances and continue.

(Henry watches all of this and subtly nods his head, approving of Daniel’s advice and teaching. Eva and Ben step away from each other and ready their blades. They restart their battle, with Eva’s long hair obviously getting in the way.)

EXT. THE BARRACKS-AFTERNOON

(The recruits are practicing their sorcery. Daniel is rifling through the pages of a sorcery book. He steps up to the recruits and shows each of them one of the pages in the book.)

Daniel: This section describes how to conjure a fireball out of thin air. I want each of you to practice. Try to control it as best you can, but if you need to put it out yourself, just speak the incantation in reverse. Begin.

(The recruits spread out, putting a safe amount of distance between each other. Daniel watches the recruits, while Henry skims through the pages of the sorcery book. Eva holds out her hands and mutters the incantation. A ball of fire appears in between her hands. Eva is surprised at such sudden success, that she stumbles backwards and loses her focus. The fire disappears and Eva sighs, frustrated. She looks over to see Ben tossing his fireball between each hand, being careful not to let it actually touch his skin. Eva quickly becomes jealous and breathes a long breath, trying to calm herself down and focus. She holds out her hands and mutters the incantation. A fireball appears, but a small part of the fire flies off and singes her cheek. Eva stumbles back and clutches her cheek, dropping her fireball in the process. The recruits become nervous and back away. Daniel steps forward, ready to put out the fire, but Ben beats him to it. Ben mutters an incantation, creating a small tornado composed of water. The tornado collapses and spreads over the fire, quickly putting it out. Ben rushes over to Eva and pulls her hand off of her face. Eva begins to calm down, as Ben puts his hand over the burn and mutters another incantation. His hand glows with a green aura and her burn slowly disappears. Daniel puts his hand on his brother’s shoulder and smiles.)

Daniel: Excellent work, Ben. It would seem that you’re a quick learner. I’m sure that you will become quite an asset on the battlefield.

Ben: You know it!

(Ben smiles and sticks his thumb up. Eva looks away, a bit annoyed with Ben’s not so modest attitude.)

EXT. THE BARRACKS

(The recruits have reached the midway point. Eva is practicing her swordplay with Daniel and a real sword. She is showing improvement, but Daniel is far more experienced than her. Daniel is easily brushing her aside, as she continues to push herself. Daniel knocks Eva’s sword out of her hand and elbows her in the stomach, knocking her over. Eva clutches her stomach and coughs several times. She glares at Daniel, before getting up.)

Eva: What’s your problem?!

Daniel: Excuse me?

Eva: Dan, you’re breaking me down! I can’t…

Daniel: Stop right there. You will refer to me as Commander Ross, do you understand?

Eva: Are you kidding me?! You’re really going to correct me over something like that, at a time like this?!

Daniel: I have been teaching you all from the start that you are to address me as Commander Ross. This is nothing new and I expect you to understand and follow the rules.

Eva: Dad, are you going to let him talk to me like this?!

Henry: Did he not make himself clear? He said that you are to show respect to your commanding officers and I expect you to do so, as well. You will refer to him as Commander Ross and you will refer to me as Commander Bradford.

(Henry walks up to his daughter and leans in, whispering.)

Henry: You made this decision. I had hoped that you would’ve realized what that meant. But, it seems that you expect special treatment, simply because I am your father and Commander Ross is your friend. I will not put up with insubordination and neither should he.

(Henry turns to face Daniel. He nods and steps aside. Daniel readies his blade. Eva quickly picks hers up and blocks an incoming swing. Her hair flies in her face and Daniel catches her off guard, once again knocking her blade out of her hands. Eva stumbles back and dodges a couple of Daniel’s attacks. She rolls out of the way and picks up her sword. Her hair flies in her face, once again. She screams out of anger and quickly grabs all of her beautiful golden locks. She pulls them off of her face and hacks it all off in one swipe. Daniel’s eyes widen, as Eva leaps off of the ground and turns on the offensive. Daniel blocks each swing, but with more effort than before. He smiles, as Eva becomes more furious and powerful with each swing.)

EXT. SERIAH-DAWN

(The recruits are running around the city, with potato sacks in tow. Eva’s hair has been trimmed up and evened out. She is also running almost directly next to Ben at the front of the group. Four of the recruits have quit, but the remaining recruits are faster and stronger than ever before.)

EXT. THE BARRACKS-AFTERNOON

(The recruits are practicing their wizardry outside of the barracks. Ben creates a miniature typhoon, while the other recruits have an invisible shield of telekinesis around them, to keep from being yanked into the typhoon. Eva takes this opportunity to sink her feet into the ground and harden the ground around her feet. She takes down her barrier and lets the ground keep her from being sucked into the typhoon. She mutters an incantation and unravels the typhoon, pulling the powerful wind toward herself. The gust of wind soars past her and around her, going wherever he mind tells it to go. The wind dies down and Eva’s feet eject from the ground. Daniel smiles and is quite impressed by Eva’s progress.)

INT. THE BARRACKS-EVENING

(Daniel is standing at the entrance of the barracks, while the recruits are standing at the edge of their respective beds.)

Daniel: One week. That’s how long it will be until the six of you can call yourselves Knights. I want you all to know how proud of you I am. I realize that I have been tough on you all and I am sure that you all have contemplated quitting, each and every day that you were here. But, I commend you all for your perseverance. The only reason that I was hard on you all is because I’ve been to Nethergaia and I failed. I was not prepared for them and I didn’t realize it until I got there. I am lucky to be alive. In order for you guys to be prepared, you have to be better than me, better than Commander Bradford, and better than every single Knight that has ever set foot in Nethergaia. We each have to strive to better than each other, if we are to defeat them. I hope that you all understand that and I hope that you all remember this throughout your time in this war.

INT. THE SERIAHN CASTLE FOYER-EVENING

(The people of Seriah have once again gathered for the induction of several more Knights. The King steps down from his throne, as he is handed the decorated blade that goes to each Commander’s best recruit. He places the blade on the star recruit’s left shoulder.)

King: As Commander Ross’s star recruit, do you swear to protect the weak, defenseless, helpless, and fight for the general welfare of all?

Eva: With all my heart, my lord.

King: I dub thee Lady Eva.

(The King moves the sword to Eva’s right shoulder and then hands her the blade, as she rises to her feet.)

lets see how she does in real combat ..lol

CHAPTER 25:

King: I would like to personally thank you all for your hard work and dedication. I can only ask and pray that you all continue to support the Brotherhood with the strength and determination that you have shown thus far. Please, return to and enjoy the festivities, for the remainder of the night.

(The King sits back down and smiles at the young woman sitting next to him. She is a radiant, gorgeous, young, and happy dirty blonde. She looks out across the room, smiling at all of the guests. She sees Daniel sitting with the group. She stares at Daniel, as her smile grows wider. The King notices this and smiles, as well. He leans to his left, signaling the nearby Knight to lean toward him, as well.)

King: Please bring Commander Ross up here, at once.

(The Knight nods his head and hurries into the crowd. He makes his way toward Daniel.)

Knight: Commander Ross? The King has requested your presence.

Daniel: Thank you, my good sir.

(Daniel stands up and makes his way over to the King. He bows before the King.)

King: Rise, Commander Ross.

(Daniel stands up and smiles, quite humble in the King’s presence.)

King: I would like you to meet my daughter, Mia.

Daniel: It is a pleasure to meet you, Princess Mia. I am Daniel Ross.

(Mia puts her hand out and Daniel kisses it. On the other side of the foyer, Eva is speaking with her father.)

Eva: She seriously didn’t want to be here for this?

Henry: I’m sorry, Eva, unfortunately she doesn’t approve of this.

Eva: She could’ve at least been here, this was important to me and she knew that!

(Henry takes Eva in his embrace, attempting to comfort her.)

King: I am quite impressed by your honor and dedication. You survived a brutal battle in Nethergaia, single-handedly calmed most of Seriah despite their anger at the Brotherhood learning sorcery, and Commander Bradford tells me that you did a highly commendable job training your six recruits. In fact, transforming six recruits, all in one group, into Knights is quite the accomplishment. Many of our recruits are overwhelmed in the two year training period and quit. But, Commander Bradford says that you pushed them to their limits and yet only four recruits did not rise to the challenge… My daughter Mia has recently turned seventeen, yet she has not been able to find a worthy suitor.

(Daniel soon becomes uncomfortable and begins to subtly clear his throat.)

King: I would be delighted if you and my daughter were to marry.

(Daniel glances at Mia and sees her smiling, much to his disdain. He remains silent for a moment, collecting his thoughts.)

Daniel: With all due respect, my lord…

(The King appears taken back. Mia’s smile quickly leaves her face. They remain silent, waiting to hear what Daniel has to say.)

Daniel: I am not interested in a romantic relationship, of any sort. At least, not until this war is over. I don’t want to leave someone heartbroken if anything were to happen to myself. I want to raise a family and I want to do so, in an era of peace that I helped create. I apologize if I have offended you or your lovely daughter.

King: …You are a very respectful young man, Commander Ross. I appreciate your kind words and honesty. If Mia does not have a suitor, before this war’s end, it would make me very happy if you would marry my daughter.

Daniel: I will think about it, my lord. I will indeed think about it.

King: Excellent. You are dismissed, Commander.

(Daniel bows and nods, apologetically, to Princess Mia. He steps down into the crowd and exits the castle, hoping to get some fresh air. He sits down and stares at the night sky. After a few seconds have passed, Mia exits the castle and sits down next to Daniel. Daniel quickly becomes uncomfortable and continues to stare at the sky, afraid to acknowledge her.)

Mia: What you told my father wasn’t true, was it?

Daniel: I, um…

Mia: It’s alright, I’m not angry. I understand why you did it.

Daniel: …You do?

Mia: Of course! I think it’s attractive, really. I can tell that your heart belongs to another woman.

Daniel: That is correct.

Mia: I thought so. Well, I may not know you very well, but I do know this. She’s one lucky woman.

(Mia smiles and then makes her way back inside the castle.)

CHAPTER 26:

EXT. SERIAH-DAWN

(Daniel, Eva, Ben, and Matt are preparing to set out on another journey to Nethergaia, accompanied by many other Knights, as well. Henry, Rusty, and Jack, along with many other citizens are there to see them off. However, Lily is not there to see her daughter off. Eva looks at her father, as she mounts her horse. She stares at him with a look of depression.)

Henry: I’m sorry, Eva.

Eva: Thank you for supporting me, dad. That means more to me than you know.

(Eva turns away and follows the Knights out of Seriah. Inside the city walls, Lily is peering out at her daughter, torn between supporting her daughter and following her beliefs.)

EXT. HALFAX-EVENING

(The Knights have set up a new base outside of Halfax. Daniel is going over the plans with the troops.)

Daniel: Alright, there are innocent civilians living in those cities. They have been forced to live under the Nethergaian’s rules or they will be executed. Now, this is where it gets tricky. We will have to force the Nethergaians out of the city so that the civilians won’t get caught up in the battle. I want Squad A, led by Lady Eva, to circle the city and use your sorcery to attack the outer wall. Using this distraction, I want Squad B, led by myself, to escort the citizens out of the wall through our personally made exit point. As we fight back against the incoming Nethergaians, their numbers should begin to dwindle. By this time, most, if not all of the civilians should be out of the city. So, then we will force our way into the city and take down every last one of them. Once the raid is over, Squad B will begin helping the citizens return to their old life. Another group of Knights will arrive to take your place and we will move onto the next city. Are there any questions?

(All of the Knights remain silent, completely focused on the plan.)

Daniel: Excellent. Let’s get some rest. We begin at dawn.

EXT. HALFAX-DAWN

(The Knights have gathered at pre-determined points around the outer wall of the city. The guards at the front gate are none-the-wiser. Daniel’s smaller squad has stopped at the very back-end of the city wall.)

Daniel: Wait for the signal.

(Daniel lifts his hand up, letting his subordinates know to stay still. Eva raises her arm and mutters an incantation. A massive fireball appears at her palm. The fireball soars through the air and crashes into the wall, cracking it. The Nethergaians are quickly alerted to the many fireballs crashing into the outer wall. Daniel mutters an incantation and separates the wall, creating an opening for them to enter the city. He, Matt, and the Knights quickly enter the city, searching for citizens. They burst into the local houses.)

Daniel: I’m Commander Ross with the Benegaian Brotherhood; follow me to safety, move, move, move!

(The civilians hesitantly hurry out of their houses, as they hear the sound of the city walls crumbling. Matt and the other Knights, break off into the many houses, escorting each civilian out of their newly made entrance. They haven’t met any resistance, since all of the Nethergaians have rushes to the outer wall to deal with Squad A. Eva and the other Knights have the element of surprise on their side, easily overpowering the sorcerers with their newly acquired sorcery. The sorcerers are picked off by the Knights raging flames, drowning in floating spheres of water, being crushed under boulders and clumps of dirt, and impaled with floating branches and nearby trees. The Knights suffer a few casualties, but the sheer surprise of the Knights showing up and using sorcery, causes them to wipe out the Nethergaians quickly and easily. Squad A rushes through the collapsed wall and quickly overwhelms the remaining Nethergaians. Eva and Ben, in particular, are shredding through most of the Nethergaians. Their sorcery begins to take its toll on their mind and spirit. They quickly pull out their blades and begin hacking through the leftovers. Eva is easily proving herself worthy of second-in-command.)

INT. HALFAX-MORNING

(The Knights have finished off the sorcerers and have saved the town of Halfax. The civilians slowly make their way back into the town, thanking the Knights and helping them clean up the city, the best that they can. Ben has taken it upon himself to coordinate an effort to use sorcery in order to heal any civilians and Knights that were harmed in the attack. Later in the day, as the new Squad B shows up, Daniel and Eva take a moment to sit on the outskirts of the city and enjoy each other’s company.)

Daniel: That was definitely a success. It was far better than when I was last here.

Eva: It seems that you made the right decision in having the Brotherhood learn sorcery.

Daniel: Yeah, I suppose you’re right. But, I fear that our victory will be short lived. This army has been studying the forbidden arts for eighty years. We’ve been studying it for two years. Eventually, word will spread and we will no longer have the element of surprise on our side.

Eva: We still have some sort of advantage. They may have been studying sorcery for eighty years, but most of that time they spent coming up with it. Lucky for us, we just took what they now know and applied it to our own battle strategy. It may have taken them ten years just to figure out they could make a measly fireball, but because they know how to do it now, so do we. We can’t be too far behind them.

Daniel: Hahaha! Good point, Eva. I’m glad that you’re here. I worried about you when I was here and you were still in Benegaia. I was worried that I might never see you, again. But, today you proved that you can handle yourself. I don’t feel so worried, anymore.

Eva: That sucks. You’re always so calm. It’s kind of cute, when you get all flustered.

Daniel: Oh really, now!

(The two of them laugh it off and breathe in the calm and refreshing breeze. Daniel and Eva’s army move from town to town, slowly expanding Benegaian territory and making their way closer and closer to the capital. Jack and Rusty eventually get moved into the same army, as Ben, Eva, and Matt get moved to other parts of Nethergaia. Matt proves his prowess with up-close combat, almost entirely forsaking the forbidden arts. Rusty begins training a small group of Knights in archery, creating his own miniature squad for long-distance battle. Jack proves that he has a knack for multi-tasking and helping out in just about any way he can. Ben takes up training many of the Knights in the healing arts, also creating his own miniature squad. Henry and Daniel continue to have the most success, retaking town after town. The citizens continue to get back on their feet and clean up their cities, after each battle.)

INT. NETHERGAIAN CAPITAL, GARDIA-EVENING

(The city of Gardia is quite the futuristic city. Sorcery has allowed their civilization to advance technologically, as opposed to Benegaia. Massive skyscrapers protrude from the ground and many of the people are wearing more modern clothing. The city is very similar to modern day Tokyo. Inside the castle, the Sorcerer that nearly killed Daniel on his first trip to Halfax is walking through the halls of the castle. He enters two large double doors, which takes him into a massive and poorly lit throne room. The sorcerer bows before the Empress. The Empress is a fairly young, alluring, petite, short-blonde haired woman. She has a sadistic and psychotic smile plastered on her face. Her facial features are quite similar to a serpent, striking fear into the hears of anyone unlucky enough to stand in her presence. Her left leg rests, comfortably, on top of her right leg. She is tapping her right hand’s finger against the arm-rest of her decorative throne. Her ring finger, in particular, is making the most noise as she taps the shining metal piece wrapped around her finger against the throne. The sorcerer bows before her.)

Empress: Rise and remove your mask in my presence.

(The sorcerer slowly rises and removes his mask and hood, revealing him to be Hunter. Hunter’s hair has grown long and his eyes have become far more sinister.)

Hunter: Empress Lorelei, it seems that the Benegaian Brotherhood has begun the study of Sorcery.

(Lorelei stops tapping her fingers and begins to bite the bottom of her lip. She glares at Hunter, unhappy with this news.)

Lorelei: The Benegaians would never do something to defy their precious God. Why would you tell me such lies?!

Hunter: I wouldn’t lie to you, Empress! I am telling the truth. It would seem that they have become far more serious about this war, than we could ever have imagined!

(Suddenly, the floor of the throne room begins to shake, although nothing horribly noticeable. A distant scream is heard, beneath the floor of the throne room. Hunter stares at Lorelei, confused and afraid to ask what that was. Lorelei smiles and acts as if nothing had happened.)

Lorelei: I want them stopped, immediately. Use whatever means necessary.

(Lorelei leaps out of her throne and walks up to Hunter. She places her hand on his face and smiles at him, although it is easy to tell that this smile is not a smile amongst friends.)

Lorelei: If you fail to stop the Benegaian sheep and you survive. I’ll kill you myself. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have other matters to attend to.

(Lorelei strolls out of the room, as the floor shakes, once again, confusing Hunter.)

CHAPTER 27:

EXT. RASTOF-DAWN

(Daniel, Eva, Matt, Jack, Rusty, Ben and their army have arrived in Rastof. This city sits much further inside Nethergaian. Rastof is filled with skyscrapers and looks like a miniature version of Gardia. Daniel and his army come upon the city, riding their horses. The army stares in awe at the magnificent city.)

Eva: It’s indescribable!

Daniel: You got that right...

Jack: How do you build something like this?!

Matt: Do you think they used sorcery? I mean they could easily build houses and many other things, by simply using magic.

Daniel: I suppose so. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see the city from the inside!

INT. RASTOF

(The battle has begun within the city. Oddly enough it would seem that there are no civilians in sight. Daniel and many of the other Knights are breaking into the houses and finding no one. Therefore, Daniel and the other Knights ditch trying to save those who are not there and return to the fight. The Knights are having a tougher time than usual, dealing with these more advanced sorcerers. But, they are still overpowering them back using their combination of magic, swordplay, Rusty’s archery squad on the rooftops, Matt’s brute strength, Ben’s medical squad treating their wounded, and Eva and Daniel’s aggressive and quick fighting style. Below the city, rests a bunker. Within this bunker, rests all of the city’s civilians. They are standing around, sitting around, and children crying, as they listen to the sounds of their city being destroyed. The civilians sit quietly, fearing for their lives. Suddenly, the noise stops and the civilians all look up, wondering what happened. Suddenly, they hear the pitter-patter of footsteps outside of the bunker. They look at the door, as their hearts begin to race. They hear voices outside and then the door suddenly swings open. Daniel and a group of Knights hurry inside and look around, out of breath.)

Daniel: Are you all okay?

Civilian: Who are you?!

Daniel: I’m Commander Ross, of the Benegaian Brotherhood! We’re here to liberate you!

Civilian: Liberate us from what?

Daniel: Huh?

(Eva and a few other Knights rush into the bunker.)

Eva: Everyone follow us out into the city and we’ll begin to clean up!

(Eva and the other Knights rush out of the bunker and into the city. The civilians hesitantly follow them outside. The civilians enter the city and stare in horror at all of the destruction and dead bodies, being hauled out of the city.)

Young man: HEY!

(The nearby Knights stop what they are doing and look at the group of civilians. Daniel and Eva walk closer to the civilians to hear what they have to say.)

Daniel: What’s wrong?

Young man: What’s wrong?!?! Are you serious!? You come into our city and kill our friends and family and you ask what’s wrong?!?!

Elderly woman: My house!

(Daniel and Eva look to see an old woman kneeling before the remains of a small house. She bursts into tears, as her grandson appears to be trying to comfort her. A little girl rushes out from the crowd and runs up to Daniel.)

Little girl: Where’s my daddy?! Give him back!

(Daniel watches, horrified, as a woman from the crowd rushes up crying and picks the little girl off the ground, hurrying back into the crowd.)

Woman: Don’t go near those people, sweetheart! They’re dangerous!

(The crowd is losing their composure, freaking out at the destruction of their homes and crying over the deaths of their friends and family that fought in the war. A rock is thrown from somewhere within the crowd, hitting Daniel in the forehead. Blood races down his face, as he clutches his head in pain. Eva grabs his shoulders, trying to keep him steady.)

Eva: Who threw that?!?! He saved your lives, you should be grateful!

Middle-aged man: Grateful! For what?! You bastards killed our soldiers and wrecked our homes! But, I suppose that your God told you to do all of this!

Eva: Excuse me! This has nothing to do with God! This has to do with us trying to help bring about an era of peace, for everyone!

Young man: Don’t make me laugh! This is all about you assholes and your peace! You’ll kill anyone in your way just to get what your precious God wants! But, you idiots don’t have the intelligence to even realize that this higher power might not even exist! But, that doesn’t matter to you, as long as you get what you want and do what you want, the people you step on don’t matter, am I right?!?!

(Eva opens her mouth to try and continue arguing with the angry young man, but Daniel grabs her shoulder, pulling her away from the crowd. He steps toward the crowd and wipes the blood from his forehead.)

Daniel: I did not come here with the intention of hurting you all. I realize that nothing I say will make up for what we did to you all. But, I will give you a chance to take out your anger and frustration on me. If anyone would like, please step up and hit me, as much as you want. We will not fight back. I do ask that you please leave the rest of my army alone.

(Daniel removes his armor, leaving only a skin-tight black outfit covering his body. The crowd murmurs amongst themselves, wondering if they can trust that he and the other Knights won’t retaliate. A young man breaks out from the crowd and rushes toward Daniel.)

Young man: GLADLY!

(The young man punches Daniel in the jaw, knocking him to the ground. Eva shudders and rushes toward the man. Daniel grabs her leg, causing her to stumble forward. She quickly catches her balance and looks back at Daniel, frustrated.)

Daniel: Eva, stop. Don’t make me go back on what I just said. I told them that I would bare this and I mean what I said.

(Daniel slowly gets up and takes a kick to the stomach by the young man. Eva shudders, once more.)

Eva: KNOCK IT OFF! CAN’T YOU SEE THAT HE’S ONLY TRYING TO HELP YOU!

(The young man ignores Eva and stomps on Daniel’s chest, repeatedly, causing him to cough blood. Tears pour down Eva’s cheeks. She rears her arm back, ready to beat the living shit out of the young man, when a random hand grabs her arm, stopping her. She looks to her right to see Rusty has stopped her. Rusty has taken his armor off. Rusty guides her away from the two young men and then walks back over. He shoves the young man off of Daniel and stands between them. He puts his arms behind his back and sticks his nose in the air, waiting for the man to hit him. The young man begins breathing heavily, fueled by rage. A few other civilians rush up and help knock Rusty around. Matt takes off his armor and rushes in to take a beating, as well. Eva watches as her friends, get bloodied up and tossed around. Jack and Ben take their armor off, rush in, as well, helping to take some of the pain off of their already hurt friends. Eva walks up and does the same. They get kicked around, their faces smashed in, and fall to the ground beaten and bruised. Some of the other Knights join in, while the others watch, unsure of what to do. The civilians soon stop, realizing that there is no point in continuing.)

Young man: Just get out of here. I can’t stand to look at you guys, any longer.

(The young man spits and then walks away, angry and hurt. The civilians disperse and begin trying to rebuild their city. The beaten Knights slowly get up with the help of their comrades. They get back on their horses and leave the city, returning to their base to recover. Ben begins the process of healing the other wounded, despite his own wounds. Daniel is sitting alone, thinking about everything that just happened. Eva walks over and sits next to him.)

Eva: How could you do something so stupid?

Daniel: We took so much from them. How did we not realize that there would be these kinds of consequences to what we’re doing? Are we really even helping anyone, but ourselves?

Eva: It may not seem like it now, but we are helping them. The Nethergaians have had that city for so long. That became their life, their norm. I know how you feel, but this will be better in the long run.

Teenage boy: HEY!

(Daniel looks up to see that a 14 year old boy has made it into their base and is standing at the entrance. Daniel slowly gets up and walks over to the boy.)

Teenager: My dad was in our army and you killed him!

(The boy begins to cry, but tries to hold back his tears as he clenches his fists. Daniel drops to his knees and closes his eyes.)

Daniel: Go for it.

(The boy rears both his arms back and then wraps his arms around Daniel’s neck, hugging him. Daniel opens his eyes, surprised.)

Teenager: I just want you to know that I forgive you. I understand what you’re going through and I know that it’s not easy.

INT. ROSTAF-5 YEARS AGO

(The teenage boy is nine years old and sitting at home, eating some cereal and watching TV. His dad walks downstairs and sits down next to his son.)

Dad: Hey, buddy, unfortunately I’ve been sent out to Benegaia, on duty.

Boy: But, dad! That’s not fair! I hate those stupid Benegaians, why can’t they just leave us alone!?

Dad: Do not hate them, son. Pity them. They have to endure all the pain that this war brings, just the same that we do.

INT. THE BASE-PRESENT DAY

(Daniel begins to cry.)

Daniel: I’m so sorry! I never meant for this happen!

Boy: I know.

(Ben, Jack, Matt, and Rusty sit down next to Eva, as the four of them smile at Daniel and the boy.)

Eva: As long as there are people like Daniel and that boy, I guess that there’s hope after all.

CHAPTER 28:

INT. SERIAH-AFTERNOON

(Lily is walking through the streets. She appears as though she is in a depressing mood.)

Young man: Hey, did you hear? Almost all of the Nethergaian cities have been retaken! The Knights will be returning home for a little vacation and then they’ll be off to the Nethergaian capital to end this damn war, once and for all!

Middle-aged man: Of course, everybody’s heard that! It’s all thanks to Commander Ross and Commander Bradford! Those two guys have been taking city after city, like it’s nothing! At least that’s what I hear.

Young man: I hear that Lady Eva is Commander Ross’ second-in-command! I can’t believe that a woman is doing such an amazing job!

Middle-aged man: Hey, if she keeps it up, I’m sure that more women will try and become Knights, as well.

(Lily keeps walking, listening to the people around her conversing about her daughter’s success. As she continues through the streets, she notices two little boys and a little girl playing nearby.)

Boy: I’m Commander Ross and you’re going down! Come Lady Eva; let’s show this Nethergaian who’s the boss around here!

Girl: Yes, sir! We’re gonna bring peace to Benegaia!

(The little kids pretend fight and Lily smiles, slowly realizing that her daughter has become a role model, for many people.)

INT. SERIAHN CASTLE FOYER-EVENING

(The King is sitting in his throne, watching happily, as the Knights flood into the foyer. Eva, Matt, Jack, Ben, Rusty, Henry, and many other Commanders are honorably seated next to the King. Despite, Eva, Matt, Jack, Ben, and Rusty not being Commanders they have shown plenty of courage in battle and have been honored as such. Ben is the leader of his self-made Medical Squad. Matt has proven strong enough to handle the Nethergaians with close-quarter combat, despite their powerful magic. Jack has proven himself useful, in just about every aspect of the war, a quick-learner and a jack of all trades. Rusty started his own squad of archers. Most of all, Eva has proven that despite being a woman in a man’s world, she has outclassed nearly every other Knight in the Brotherhood. Daniel steps into the foyer and stands in front of the King, staring at all of the Knights and civilians that are attending the celebration.)

Daniel: I would like to thank you all for being here and especially thank each and every Knight of the Benegaian Brotherhood for your courage and dedication. This would not have been made possible without you. We are here tonight, because of you. We have taken each and every city back from the Nethergaians, because of you. In less than a week, our entire army will journey to the Nethergaian capital of Gardia and end this eighty year war, once and for all, ushering in a long and prosperous era of peace!

(The Knights and civilians cheer and clap, inspired by Daniel’s words. The Knights and civilians get up and bow down to Daniel and the King. Suddenly, Lily emerges from the crowd of people and strolls up the foyer, making her way toward Daniel. Eva’s eyes widen in surprise, wondering what her mother is doing. Lily stops in front of Daniel and looks at the ground, ashamed. She drops to the ground and bows before Daniel. Henry smiles, while Eva watches in awe. Daniel smiles, steps closer to Lily, and squats down in front of her. He puts his hand on her shoulder and grabs one of her hands, helping her to her feet. He looks Lily in the eyes and shakes his head.)

Daniel: I thank you for your respect, but you don’t have to do that. I’m not the one that you need to show respect.

(Daniel guides Lily up the steps and over to Eva. Daniel takes Eva’s hand and lifts her to her feet, much to her confusion. Lily’s lips quiver, as she holds back her tears. Lily begins to drop to the ground, in order to bow to Eva. But, Eva leaps at Lily and embraces her, bursting into tears.)

Lily: I’m so sorry, Eva! I’m so disgusted with myself! I couldn’t even see you off, when you left for the war! My own daughter! What if you had died?! I wouldn’t have been able to bear it!

Eva: It’s okay, you’re here now and I don’t think that I describe how much that means to me!

INT. SERIAHN CASTLE FOYER

(The citizens and Knights are dancing and enjoying their victory, thus far. Henry walks over to Lily and extends his hand. She happily takes it and the two begin to dance. Daniel follows their lead and walks up to Eva, extending his hand. Eva happily takes his hand and the two stroll into the crowd and begin dancing.)

Eva: I guess this would be the first time that a Knight has asked another Knight to dance?

Daniel: I guess so.

(Eva and Daniel laugh and then stare into each other’s eyes, for what seems like an eternity.)

Daniel: Hey, do you want to go get some fresh air?

Eva: Uh, sure.

(Daniel and Eva walk through the crowd and exit the foyer. Daniel reaches into his pocket and hands Eva a small box.)

Eva: …What’s this?

Daniel: Open it.

(Daniel smiles, while Eva opens the box. She pulls out the cross necklace that she had in the prologue of the story. She stares at the beautiful necklace and smiles, completely taken by surprise.)

Daniel: I made it, myself. It has a special charm in it. If you use your magic, you can turn it into a blade. It makes carrying your sword around easier and it looks nice, too!

(Eva laughs and tears up, so happy with her gift. Daniel takes it and places it around her neck. She holds it in her hand, admiring it. She looks up to see that Daniel is kneeling before her. He has another small box.)

Daniel: Eva, I have known you for the last eleven years and I can’t remember a time where I’m happier than the time that I spend with you. You’re kind, funny, stubborn, and beautiful. I love everything about you and I want to make you happy for the rest of your life.

(Daniel opens the box, revealing a gorgeous engagement ring. The tears begin to rush down Eva’s cheeks.)

Daniel: Eva Bradford, will you marry me?

(Eva opens her mouth, but the words won’t come out. She is shocked and excited and in a state of bliss.)

Eva: …I do! I do!

(Daniel leaps up to his feet and embraces Eva. He kisses her, passionately, and then puts the ring on her finger. She laughs and takes him in her embrace.)

INT. SERIAHN CASTLE FOYER

(Eva and Daniel re-enter the foyer, now that Eva has calmed down, for the most part. She shows her ring to her father and mother. They leap up and hug Eva. Henry pats Daniel on the back and then shakes his hand. Lily hugs Daniel, finally showing them her full support.)

CHAPTER 29:

INT. A SECRET BUNKER BENEATH GARDIA

(Lorelei is standing inside the technologically advanced bunker. She doesn’t appear to have her normal sadistic and manipulative look in her eyes. Instead, she appears to be filled with fear and uncertainty. It appears as though she is facing someone, but if this were a TV show or film, we would not be shown who she is speaking to.)

Lorelei: T-The Knights have retaken all of our cities. They will certainly be on their way here, soon…

Echoing voice: HOW COULD YOU FAIL ME?!?!

Lorelei: I-I’m sorry! I promise, I will stop them, soon enough! I won’t allow them to finish us off!

(The booming and echoing voice lets out a disgusting and loud cough, indicating that he is quite ill. The many coughs cause the bunker to shake, violently. He follows it up with a pained scream.)

Lorelei: I’m afraid that we may need to find you a suitable vessel. Even if it’s not ready…

Echoing voice: THAT IS NOT YOUR DECISION TO MAKE!

Lorelei: But, grandfather, if you don’t do this, I am certain that you will die!

(Suddenly, Lorelei is lifted from the ground and pinned against the wall, unable to move. Tears pour from her eyes, as she quickly loses her breath.)

Echoing voice: I STILL HAVE SOME ENERGY LEFT IN THIS BODY AND I WILL NOT WASTE IT, UNTIL I AM CERTAIN THAT THE POSESSION MAGIC WILL WORK! I DID NOT BEGIN THIS WAR, EIGHTY YEARS AGO, JUST SO YOU COULD SCREW IT ALL UP! NOW, I ORDER YOU TO HANDLE THE BENEGAIANS AND I SWEAR, IF YOU FAIL ME, I WILL RIP YOUR HEART STRAIGHT FROM YOUR CHEST!

(Lorelei suddenly drops to the ground and coughs, repeatedly, trying to catch her breath. Lorelei stands up and hurries out of the bunker. She closes the door and wipes the tears from her face.)

EXT. GARDIA-DAWN

(The entire Benegaian army is making its way, by horseback, to Gardia. Daniel, Henry, and the other Commanders are leading the group, followed by Eva, Ben, Jack, Matt, and Rusty. The army soon reaches the front gate, but this doesn’t slow them down. The Knights use their combined sorcery to rip the gate apart and sling the pieces aside. They leap off of their horses and rush into the city, beginning the fight. Rusty and his squad of archers use their sorcery to fly up to the outer wall and to the rooftops of the skyscrapers. They quickly use their blades to take out any nearby Nethergaians. Once the coast is clear, they take their vantage point, and whip out their bows and arrows, taking out the Nethergaians from above.)

Henry: DON’T WORRY ABOUT ANY CIVILIANS! THIS TOWN WAS CREATED BY THE EMPEROR EIGHTY YEARS AGO! EVERYONE HERE IS A DEDICATED SOLDIER AND FOLLOWER AND ONCE WE ARE FINISHED WE’LL BURN IT TO THE GROUND!

(The Knights continue their battle, hacking through the seemingly never-ending army of Nethergaians. Ben uses his sorcery to set up a small camp in a small uninhabited part of the town. He and his squad set up for any necessary medical treatment. Soon enough, many Knights are carried into the camp and Ben’s squad begins to act on their duties. Eva is following Daniel through the city, helping him take down Nethergaian after Nethergaian. They meet plenty of resistance, but hack through hundreds of enemies, not once slowing down. They turn each attack against the sorcerers, using their own magic in return. Matt and Jack are sticking close together, as they also take down sorcerer after sorcerer. Suddenly, a sorcerer gets a clean hit, stabbing Jack in the back with a large shard of glass. Matt quickly smashes the sorcerer’s skull, with his bare hand, killing him. He picks Jack up and carries him through the city, dodging explosions and arrows, trying to get Jack to the medical tent. Matt quickly enters the tent and takes the newly opened bed. Ben rushes over and uses his sorcery to remove the shard of glass. Matt rushes out of the camp, getting back into the fray. Ben’s hands glow with a green aura and he begins to seal the wound shut. As he does this, he forces the blood back into Jack’s body, using his magic. Jack slowly wakes up, but remains groggy.)

Ben: You need to rest; you’re still going to feel the effects from your wound for a few min…

(Suddenly, a blade pierces Ben’s back and runs through his chest. Hunter, although wearing his mask, removes his blade from Ben’s back. Blood drips from Ben’s chest and mouth, as he falls to the ground. Jack leaps up, although still suffering from his injuries. He unsheathes his blade, but Hunter kicks him in the chest, knocking him into the wall next to his bed. Hunter stabs Jack in the chest, just as he tries to get up. The nearby medical Knights quickly react, unsheathing their blades. Hunter creates a massive fireball and slings it the group of them. He rushes out of the camp and slings another fireball at the camp, burning it to the ground and killing the Knights inside. Daniel and Eva are getting closer and closer to the castle, ready to end this. However, Hunter leaps into the sky and lands in front of them, blocking their path to the castle. Eva and Daniel ready their blades, but Henry rushes past them and clashes swords with Hunter.)

Henry: Go! End this godforsaken war!

(Eva and Daniel rush past Hunter. Hunter turns around and goes to sling a fireball at them, but Henry teleports in front of his hand and extinguishes the flame with a quickly conjured ball of water. Hunter removes his mask and pulls down his hood, revealing his face. Henry remains unshaken, ready to end the fight.)

Hunter: How does it feel to know that this is your fault?

Henry: You think that I should blame myself for your choices? I’m sorry to tell you this, but I don’t. You’ve made your decision and I’ve made mine!

(Henry and Hunter clash blades, knocking each other away, proving that Hunter has improved in his swordplay. Hunter lifts Henry off of the ground, but Henry uses his own telekinesis to drop back to the ground.)

Henry: So, it would seem that we are on equal footing with our sorcery? It’ll be interesting to see how this ends.

(Daniel and Eva reach the outside of the castle. They hack through the few sorcerers that are guarding the castle. Suddenly, the doors of the castle swing open and Lorelei steps out into the sunlight. She makes her way toward Eva and Daniel.)

Lorelei: So, you must be Lady Eva. I must say that I was quite surprised when I found out that the Benegaian Knights had recruited a woman. You must be something special if they were willing to throw away centuries of tradition simply to allow you to fight in the war.

Eva: Who do you think you are?

Lorelei: Hahaha! Where are my manners? I am Lorelei, Empress of Nethergaia.

Daniel: So, you’re the one that’s in charge around here?! Why would you do such a thing?! Why would you lead a nation of tyranny that you didn’t even begin!?!

Lorelei: My grandfather began this revolution eighty years ago and he has done wondrous… marvelous things! He was the founder of sorcery! He took over nearly half of Benegaia, before his untimely death. But, I will not let his legacy end! I will take over all of Benegaia and reshape it! It’s what he would want and that’s what he will get!

(Lorelei extends her arm and, without muttering an incantation, shoots a stream of lightning out of her hand at Daniel and Eva. Daniel and Eva leap to the side, barely dodging it.)

Eva: How did she use sorcery without saying the incantation?!?!

Daniel: Dammit! Her sorcery is too advanced!

(Daniel and Eva quickly get up and rush at Lorelei. Lorelei summons a hailstorm. Eva and Daniel erect invisible barriers around their body, stopping the storm from reaching them. They reach Lorelei and get rid of their barriers, creating a torrent of fire around both of them, burning the hail away. Lorelei leaps away, dodging the fire and ending the hailstorm.)

Lorelei: Heheheh! Not bad for a couple of amateurs.

(Suddenly, the ground beneath them begins to rumble and they hear a distant and echoing scream. Daniel and Eva look at the ground, confused.)

Daniel: What was that?

Lorelei: You might want to focus on the task at hand!!! Hahahaha!

(Lorelei leaps at Daniel and tries to kick him in the face. Daniel puts up his arm, blocking the kick. He quickly swings his blade toward her, hoping to finish her. But, Lorelei reacts quickly and rebounds off of Daniel’s arm, back-flipping away from her opponents.)

Eva: You heard that, right? Something is beneath the city. Something she doesn’t want us to know about.

Daniel: But, what? We can’t possibly know what might be down there.

Eva: Go.

Daniel: What?

Eva: Get down there and find out. I’ll handle her.

Daniel: Are you crazy?! You think you’re going to take her down by yourself?!

Eva: I am a Knight, okay! I didn’t join, just to wimp out, now! Besides, my dad should be here soon to provide backup! If we still can’t finish her, then you do what you need to do down there and get up here and help us!

(Daniel hesitates, but then nods his head. He quickly mutters an incantation and opens a large hole in the ground. Lorelei becomes confused.)

Daniel: Be careful, you hear me?

Eva: Of course! You too!

Daniel: You got it!

(Daniel leaps into the hole and closes it up behind himself.)

Lorelei: Hahahahahaha! He’s not very smart, is he? He’s not making it out of there alive. He would’ve been better off trying to fight me then what’s in store for him down there!

Eva: What’s down there then?!

Lorelei: I guess you’ll have to kill me if you want to find out!

(Lorelei summons a swarm of twisters around herself.)

CHAPTER 30:

Eva: If you say so!

(Eva mutters an incantation, as Lorelei sends the twisters at her. Eva creates a column of snow and freezing air, turning the twisters to solid ice. Eva rushes at Lorelei, with her blade ready. Lorelei’s metal piece on her finger floats off of her finger and expands, transforming into a scythe. Lorelei grabs the scythe and clashes with Eva’s blade, letting out a sadistic smile. Below the city, Daniel lands floats down to a futuristic hallway. He rushes down the hallway, following the sound of the coughing and screaming. Meanwhile, Henry turns up the aggression, quickly overwhelming Hunter.)

Hunter: I won’t let you do this to me, again, you old bastard!

Henry: What treat you like an equal? Treat you like an opponent that I have to give it my all just to defeat?! How about you stop giving up and rise to the challenge?!?!

Hunter: SHUT UP!

(Hunter becomes increasingly angrier and slowly begins to ditch his sorcery, opting to prove himself worthy through swordplay. Henry dodges many of Hunter’s swings, but soon finds an opening and takes it. Hunter stumbles, ever so slightly, and Henry knocks his sword out of his hand. Before Hunter can react, Henry stabs him in the chest. Hunter coughs blood, slowly dying. But, Hunter looks up and begins to mutter an incantation under his breath. Henry turns around, but is too late. A nearby shard of glass impales his throat. Hunter laughs, as the two of them fall to the ground, dying.)

Hunter: Looks like you were right about one thing, old man… we are equal.

(Hunter begins to cough and then calmly dies. Henry can’t manage to say anything back, with the shard stuck in his throat. He soon lays his head down and dies, as well. Eva continues her battle with Lorelei, the two of them trading blows, equally.)

Lorelei: Not bad for a woman of Benegaia! I thought you were all snooty, prim and proper, stuck up bitches!

(Lorelei brings down her scythe and Eva blocks it with her blade, supporting both ends of her blade with both of her hands.)

Eva: Shows how much you know!

(Eva pushes her scythe back and tries to land an upward, diagonal strike on Lorelei. Lorelei stops her blade with her telekinesis, but Eva breaks through and continues the strike. Lorelei, surprised, barely dodges it, taking a cut across her stomach. Lorelei becomes enraged that she was struck and leaps at Eva, clutching her throat. She uses her telekinesis to rip Eva’s armor off of her, leaving her far more vulnerable. She then uses her telekinesis to rip Eva’s sword from her hands and send it flying through the air. Eva’s hand begins to glows with a white aura. She kicks Eva in the stomach and then tries to stab Eva in the stomach with her scythe. Eva’s sword reappears in her hand and she knocks Lorelei’s scythe out of her hand. Eva quickly conjures an icicle behind Lorelei’s head and pierces the back of her skull. Lorelei stops and falls forward, causing Eva to roll out of the way. Eva tries to slow her breathing, as she slowly calms down. She gets up and creates a hole in the ground. She leaps in, ready to help Daniel. Daniel eventually reaches a large set of double doors. He uses his telekinesis to send the doors flying open. He steps inside and ends up in the bunker that Lorelei was in, earlier. He sees an elderly man lying on a bed, with IV’s throughout his body. He appears to be under severe medical attention and looks to be about 110 years old. Daniel looks at the man, in confusion. Suddenly, the doors slam shut behind Daniel.)

Man: WHO ARE YOU?!?!

(The man speaks without moving his lips. He appears to be speaking through his mind, as if echoing his thoughts into the real world.

Daniel: …I am Commander Ross of the Benegaian Brotherhood! I have come here to end this war, once and for all! Who are you?

Man: YOU THINK THAT YOU CAN END THIS WAR?!?! HAHAHAHAHA! I DID NOT BEGIN THIS WAR TO HAVE IT ENDED BY A NAÏVE CHILD!!!!

(Before Daniel can react, he is lifted off of the ground. He reaches for his throat, as if he is having trouble breathing. He sputters, but is unable to utter a word. The elderly man’s monitor begins to go off, as if he is dying.)

Man: D-DAMMIT, NOT NOW!!! I-I HAVE NO…

(Eva reaches the double doors and tries to open them, but they won’t budge. She struggles, but to no avail. Back inside the bunker, the elderly man forces Daniel to float above the old man’s bed. Daniel’s eyes roll into the back of his head and the elderly man’s body begins to dissolve. The elderly man disappears, leaving behind only his clothes. Eva bursts into the room and sees Daniel floating over the bed. She watches as his body rips into little pieces. The pieces turn black and then dissolve into thin air. Eva stands there, shocked at what she just witnessed. She stands still for a moment, in utter silence, but she soon passes out, unable to cope with watching Daniel die before her very eyes.)
