To be honest, most tournaments that turn out good to where more people will want to join tournaments the creator hosts in the future, they wait until everyone one has turned in to announce the winners. It's more organized and fair. o-o;;

they also would pick different genres per round unless they told from the beginning it's a themed tournament.

I don't have Sony Vegas either, all i got is Simple Windows Movie Maker and I make it work for me, you should just get to know your movie making system as well. I am just hopin i'm pro enough around this tournament to get on the "good side" of Sora96. But I belive it would be a bit difficult since he is excited about EmoRikuKH and Joi. This would be a difficult tournament indeed. Uhh, srry for the interruption, i'm just a little pissed at the moment. T_T

and yeah you can made good amvs with WMM its a basic program but can do well i used to use it and i made some good amvs now i am on sony vegas but still only upgrade when you think your ready too

You have great potiental and that was my first one...there are wonderful people who do not have Sony Vegas and who can still make fantastic AMVs. So, do not think you need to get it just because of this. You go at your own pace and I am not looking down at you either, none of us are really I hope? This is all for fun and you have a good talent at what you are doing, noob is just a word and it may offend some people, so Sora, I suggest you might want to use that word wisely. I am not trying to have a go at you either, but just understand that some people do not like being called that and everyone is new at something and try as best as they can. No one is really a pro at anything, because you are always learning as you go and mess up here and there.

Well, my first time making KH AMVs i never understood how to get kh cutscenes in the first place, so my first few vids I would just post a few pictures along with the song. And then as i understood how to get cutscenes, i was a little better, but I still had no experience, so i would post whole cutscenes, mute them, and then put in the song with no effects or transitions. It sucked, then i started experiementing, learning custom effects, knowing when to pounce. And I soon became the AMV creator you see today, after...how long was it?...I would say about 24 months, but it seems more on the line of two years. ...but the first year was all picture slideshows. You just need patience, and experiemnt EVERY SINGLE TIME, see what would happen if you do this, or touch that. You see?

= You don't call a contestant a noob. You tell them the points they need to work on for a next time in the future. Noob is actually an offensive term. It's an insult, and using it in a non-insulting way doesn't make any sense.

As a tournament leader, be more considerate. Instead of saying noob, say " hey I thought you did well, however work on this, this, and this."

Now, whether you worded it appropriately, and how the person takes it is up to you two to be mature enough to be considerate of one another.

A program doesn't make the editor better. The editor can do that himself or herself. Wmm, or not.
