Maleficent's group and keyholes

Posted

Something I liked very much in kh1, was Malefcent's group of disney villians.

together they made evil plans on how to take over there world and how to conquer sora and friends...

that's something I really want back in the next kingdom heart!

another thing I really liked was how you got to seal each worlds keyhole.

they were placed in a special secret place, you had to look for.

or in kh2, they're were keyholes attached to objects from the world that made a gate open to travel to other worlds.

that's also something I really want to return in the next kh!

what's your opinion on it?

Reconnect the roots of Kingdom Hearts.

Everything stated above, is what i think of it.

I think the "sealing" of the keyholes would have been a lot cooler if instead of Sora pointing the Keyblade at the keyhole and shooting a beam of light out of it to seal the keyhole, he were to literally shove the Keyblade inside the keyhole and turn it as if locking a door.

maleficent is still working on her schemes :3

I liked Meleficents band of Misfits as well, but I think Sora did a good job of breaking up the group a bit. And I am not so certain that the rest of the villains that were in leauge with her know shes back?

I actually thought it was interesting that the two games were in oposition of eachother in regards to keyholes. In the first game we were LOCKING the keyholes to the hearts of those worlds, and in the second game we were UNLOCKING the pathways to other worlds by the connections made in the heart. And now even in 3D we are Unlocking keyholes of sleep....

I found this interesting.

I believe that this is training in a sense for Sora, the ability to use the Keyblade to Lock and Unlock is its main purpose as a master, as in Xehanorts reports he states a key opens doors, which by the means of unlocking the doors we are able to travel through but if we lock them the conection to the other side is blocked right?

Obviously this is important for the reason that Sora is said to be the one to open the door to light....but I also believe that in the long run the event will lead to locking the door to darkness.

i think we need more disney villains ,with the right ideas you can have many enjoyable boss fights that require strategy and platforming skills like in kh1 with the enormous bosses like Ice Titan or Chernabog

Nomura can probably think of one or another way to recruit all the villains.

I thought that as well.

the training part is a very good thought!

and lets hope sora is still the one who must close the door to darkness.

cuz riku got a big part during kh3d.. ;$

Well Nomura said this was Sora's Story, I beleive its still Sora.

Riku is an important character and I am glad hes finally getting a little more recognition and play, it was awesome playing as him in CoM and I am so excited to play him in KH3D.

I thought he was a little underplayed in KHII it would have been a little cool to play what he was doing while in KH II and seeing his Keyblade discovery of the Way to Dawn.

That would've been cool indeed!!

You're right about that...

I would have loved to play what he was doing back then!

I also cna't wait to play as him in 3d!

Yeah, we all know it's been stated that after KH1, Kingdom Hearts got all Square Enix-ie.

i love these things too. Too bad Maleficent never had change to reform her group in kh2.

Only game so far that doesnt contain any keyhole in story is Days. Keyholes kinda returns to be main plot elements in kh3d.

I think it would be great to have more Disney interactions back for KH3, and if not that then a future installment.

Well that's what my topic is about(which is better.. O.o)

Anyway, they need to have KH3's plot focus half on the Disney Villains and half on MX.
