After KH3, the new story arc. (Possible spoilers)

Posted

It has been confirmed that after kh3 theres going to be more of the amazing game, but with a new story. What do you think trolomura is going to do? New characters? Replacement Sora? and honestly there aren't that many disney worlds to go around that havent been used, not enough in my opinion for a whole new arc. Your opinions here.

Actually, I never stopped to think about that...

I prefer to focus on the current story D:

well it was confirmed that sora would still be the protagonist .. or at least he's said that much in past interviews, my guess is maybe something with maleficent, she's been running around a lot lately.

I am sure trolomura has said that soras journey won't have had ended at the end of xehanort saga. So i believe sora will be the main character still.

There are TON of worlds they can still do disney oldies, and tbh, there will be even more afterwards. also maybe some pixar?

Nomura said that Kingdom Hearts will always be Sora's Story, KH 3 is going to be the end of whats called the Xehanort Saga, and titels to follow will have new villains.

They Have a ton of Disney Worlds to use its just how they use them, just because they end the movie story lines doesn't mean Nomura cant come up with new story lines to make the game exciting! :)

I hope that KH becomes a bit more like final fantasy. Ya know like not getting rid of the disney stuff, that part is awesome, but maybe a cooler antagonist and more proportionally sound people.

Xehanort-saga ends... I can't wait to next saga :D

(Sora probably is adult O.o)

Well...I kinda like how KH isn't a clone of FF...ya know? I like the kid friendliness of this, but maybe Sora could become more mature and levelheaded. Optimistic as ever, but a little more calm. I honestly want KH3 to finish KH. I hope, if anything, the new arc focuses on the original Keyblade War, and ties into bringing the worlds together as one big world.

Right I get what your saying but as it is I don't know any real "kids" that play kh. Nomura also said in one of his interviews ,when asked how the complicated story fit in with the child oriented disney aspect of the game, that KH is not meant to be child oriented. Haha and by the way I totally agree that it's better with kh not being a clone of FF I just meant in the way of Character design for the main villains and maybe a more grown up appearance for Sora.

hmmm...even so I didn't mean that. The story isn't specifically for kids, true, but the innocence of it is what I like. I like dark themed games, don't get me wrong, but the innocence that Nomura manages to combine into KH is what sets it apart from other games. And, yes, ADULT SORA FTW! xD

I believe a saga on the original keyblade war would be great. Because if they started a saga thats based after the xehanort saga, players will be expecting all characters to tie in with the original games, whereas if they made a saga of the past, the could build up whole new characters that have nothing to do with the xehanort saga. Also with a game based in the past, anything that has happened in the disney worlds does not matter anymore, and can be lead up to the xehanort saga. Such as in the first kh how king tritan knows about the keyblade, we can now find out how he knows such things.

Hey hey original story bout' the first keyblade war would be cool, with the new time travel thingy kh3d has going on sora and the gang could totally do that.

Uhm.. no. Kingdom Hearts is an Action RPG with Disney characters and settings along with the classic Final Fantasy feeling. So long as Disney owns Kingdom Hearts, the series main focus will never be that of something "more like Final Fantasy".

He did say Sora would continue to be the hero so we know that will stay the same. Maybe they'll extend into some more new worlds or final fantasy ones.
