but you can transfer from sora to riku anytime you want through the menu(but you should level them equally imho)

you can avoid dropping by using an item that will fill your drop metre and the more you stay without dropping the more you get drop points to buy drop prizes (when you drop there will be a menu that has prizes each prize cost a number of drop points ) ps the prizes you get as sora will go to riku and vice versa

What's with the Ü? Just put you. I'm not sure if there are any video explanations of the drop gauge. Maybe you could find an explanation on the KH wiki or something though.

I thought Sora and Riku shared the level ups. Not sure though. But I do know that you can complete the worlds at different times.

I'm sure they do like Riku has Dark Aura but Sora doesn't. It's like BBS TVA all had at least one powerful attack the others didn't.

Well for the drop gauge it's simple The drop gauge first appears when sora awakes in the Third District as it is sora and riku immediatly drops when it's zero you can also get drop prizes to fill the gauge or you can do a Bonus dream eater minigame for prizes.
