"Summer, a time you get to relax and enjoy life, if you are not one of the destined six. The story all began with that crazy summer camp in Japan, which was not like any camp most people visit. But I am getting ahead of myself. My name is Logan, Logan Hunt. Just your everyday guy who gets picked on alot and has hardly any friends. You see, my mother and father were good people who had to do terrible things in order to make a living because they were so poor. When I was only 4, I was taken to my uncle's place in Florida while my parents were sent to jail for life. I later found out that they had killed themselves for not being able to handle the world anymore. My uncle became my father to me, which I am glad to have such a kind man who cares alot about me. Anyways, the summer of 2012 was where our story, the story of the new tamers, began. It started out for me on the last day of school......................." - Logan Hunt (speaker of the story)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~CHAPTER 1: LEAVING FOR THE FUTURE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Bruce, come back here and give me my outfit!" Logan screamed out. He had gone to finish his last period of the year, gym, when his number one rival stole his outfit just as the last school bell was ringing. "You mean these? You want them than come and get them!" Bruce said. The two boys ran until they passed by the prinicpal. "Hold it! Bruce, how many times do you do this?" Dr. Rue asked. Bruce looked down, "Um, this would make the 20th time this year." Bruce said. "And why do you do this? Why cant you just leave Logan alone?" Dr. Rue asked. "I'm sorry. Here Logan." Bruce said. "Good, now Logan, go change. As for you Bruce, this is the final straw. I have been left with no choice, but to ban you from playing football next year." Dr. Rue said. Logan walked away with his outfit and went to the closes bathroom to change.
Later that afternoon, Logan went home to his Uncle's. "How was your final day?" his uncle asked. "Well Tony, not that great." Logan said. "I told you call me father. Let me guess, Bruce again? How many times does that boy do something to you?" Tony asked. "20 times this year, but its okay since he wont be able to come back next year. His family is finally moving away so I will finally be free to live my life, if I even still have one." Logan said. "Of course you have one, but that is your choice to take it or not. I got this letter in the mail for you. It seems like you have been awarded to go to a special camp all the way to Japan this summer." Tony said. "Wait, I got in? Yes, finally my life is looking up. I told you about this a while ago. I leave for this camp first thing tomorrow morning." Logan said. "Well then, I suggest we make your last day here memorible." Tony said.
James took hold of Logan's hand. "No homo," he said,"but I'm not letting you fall!" 'If I don't fall off myself," he thought.
"Thanks, at least you did one thing." Logan said finding a nearby pole and hanging on. The door then shut to every room. "Huh?" Logan said turning around to see the door shut on its own. The boat the began to rock back and forth, back and forth. The intercom came on and said, "We are now entering the Digital World, please take your seats and we will be there momentarly." Logan looked at James, "Digital World?" Logan asked.
James looked around. "What kind of prank is this?" he asked. " 'Digital World?' Really?" He shook his head. "Who do they think they're fooling?"
"What the... Digital World? Is this a prank??" shouted Travis, as he was trying to hang onto a pole.
"We are starting to face strong currents. Please remain calm and hang on." the intercom voice said. Logan held onto the pole even tighter. "Somehow I dont think this part is a joke." Logan said.
"Oh, come on!" James cried. "I've seen this movie before, and it ends with you being an old guy telling your story, and me dying after you say you'll never let go. Cue music, roll credits."
"This is not Titantic! This is real! Anyways, she could have just moved over a little bit and they could have both made it. It was big enough for the two of them." Logan said as the ship started to shake even harder.
"The Titanic was real!" James shot back. "And I never did get why she didn't just move over. Remember to move over! I don't want to die here!"
"Since when did we become a cruise ship couple?" Logan asked laughing at how they were talking to each other. "Anyways, I think I should not save you since you have only been a pain since you got in here, some of us were trying to read." Logan said still laughing. The boat began to rock harder and harder. "This is your captain speaking, we are experiencing some hard currents, please make sure all doors are locked tight and dont die on me now. We are five minutes away from shore, make that four seconds." the intercom said. "Four seconds?" Logan asked outloud. The boat was then rised up by a strong current and the boat went in the air. Logan fell over and ended up smashing into a mirror. "OW!" Logan screamed out.
James smashed his head into the wall. Literally. "Uh, a little help, it's dark in here," James said. He tried to pull. "I can't get my head out of the wall!"
"I don't like this, one bit!" shouted Travis, still hanging on the pole.
"Are you guys ok?" asked Travis to James and Logan.
"My head's in a fridgeing wall!" James said. "What do you think?"
Logan was badly cut and bleeding from the mirror glass. "At......least.......you......are........not.......bleeding.......half.......to.......death.........I........dont.......think.......I......am.......going......to......stay.........moving........much........longer......" Logan managed to say.
James laughed. "Are ya kidding? I've got so many cuts on my face and shoulders, as well as splinters, it's not even funny!" He reached into his pocket and threw out a first aid kit where he was sure Logan's voice was coming from. "Here. I always come prepared. Just, look around for some bandages or something like that."
(Out of the RP: I actually dreamed today that DC locked this thread saying "Don't swear" xD)
Travis looked at Logan. He was bleeding really hard. He noticed that James took out a bandage.
"You can help him right?" asked Travis.
If he could have, James would have facepalmed. "Hmmm...may be if you could help me get my head OUT OF THIS @#$%ING WALL!!!'" he shouted.
SIN
The flourescant sign radiated in the darkness of the city streets as patrons left the bar. Grace leaned forward on the bar, resting her elbows on the semi-polished wood as she cleaned shot glasses. It was a slow night, but then again Thursdays were always slow. She counted... three, maybe four patrons. Big Billy over there, with his brother Little Billy. Then there was Candy. Grace wasn't much for having her kind hanging around here, but the boss insisted that she stay. And then there was...
"Get'cha anything else?" She asked the businessman at the end of the bar. He looked like an older Japanese gentleman, not really the kind you'd see in a run-down place like this. He looked up at her, the tired look on his face almost heartbreaking.
"No, thank you." He croaked out in broken English. Grace patted his arm.
"Just let me know if there's anything I can do for you." She began to return to the sink when the man spoke up.
"Thank you." He repeated. "There are not many like you. Many who care." The man set his glass down on his napkin, lining the bottom up with the wet ring it had already left on the paper. "You have given up so much... and lost so much. That is what makes you special."
"And what do you know about what I've lost? What I had to give up?" Grace tried to keep her voice neutral, but hints of anger began to creep through. The Japanese man took another swig of his drink before continuing.
"That man... he was no good for you." He reached for the glass again, but Grace swiped it away from him.
"I don't know who you think you are," she was seething now. "or where you get off telling people things like that, but I think it's time you left." He didn't move from his seat, although he did lean forward slightly.
"You would refuse to serve an old man because he-" Grace cut him off by pointing to the sign behind her.
"I can refuse service to anyone for any reason. And I refuse to serve you." By now, the two were drawing attention from the bar's other patrons, but Grace didn't care. She grabbed the man's hat from the bar, almost shoving it into his chest. "And because you won't be drinking, you have nothing left to do here. I recommend you get the -firetruck- out." Her tone was flat and bordering on violence, but the man grinned. He reached into his pocket, pulling out an envelope.
"As I said, thank you for caring." He gently placed the envelope on the bar with a soft smile, collected his things, and then left. The other patrons continued to watch, but Grace dismissed them with a sneer. She opened the envelope, pouring its content out. The money was enough to cover the man's bill ten times over, but that wasn't the most interesting part. She picked up the blue card that fell out as well, turning it over in her hand. It was a litle bigger than a credit card... about the size of a playing card, really. It had a picture of some kind of... dinosaur, maybe... on it, with a blocky letter "D". It looked like it could be swiped like a normal credit card, though. Pocketing the contents of the envelope, she noticed one more thing that had fallen out: a micro SD card. What exactly was this man up to?
"Alright." Grace near-shouted. "Closing time. You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here." She was met with two protest and an explative, but by the time she hustled Little Billy out, she was locking the door. She checked her coat pocket again, the mystery cards tucked into the envelope. She would have to look into those when she got home.
"Sheesh, don't need to yell!" shouted Travis.
Travis let go the pole and landed near James.
"I'm going to grab you, ok? I'm going to try to pull you out!" said Travis.
"One, two, THREE!"
James got out of the hole, but his head started to bleed even more.
"Oh crap!" said Travis.
"You've gotta be-" Grace pushed away from the desk, her chair rolling back a few feet. Living so close to the bar was nice, but it also meant she could come home to frustration soner. She had just inserted the SD card that she had found in the envelope inot her computer and got... nothing. "The damned thing won't even read it." Grace spun the chair around, grabbing a pack of cigarettes form her desk. Should she have one? No. Would she? Yeah, pretty much. Tossing the pack back onto the desk, she lit the stick in her fingers before turning back to the computer. "Alright, maybe you don't go in a computer. Maybe..." She looked aorund the desk, grabbing her mp3 player. "Maybe you go in something like this." Cigarette between her teeth, she fought with the plastic flap on the side of the device, finally removing the memory card. She slid the new card in, the player's screen illuminating instantly. With a grin on her face, Grace flipped the device over. The screen read:
UPDATE IN PROGRESS
PLEASE WAIT
The screen flashed blue twice before it confirmed the udate had finshed. "Update? What kind of upda- son of a-" Grace shrieked as the player shocked her, the plastic device skitting across the floor. The display began flashing rapidly, vibrant color dancing off the walls around her. Every electronic screen simultaneously flicked on, a mix of color, static, and indecipherable numberical equations. The mp3 player began shaking violently, electricity arching over Grace's shoulder. She threw herself under the desk, watching as the device itself glowed before transforming. The lights died down, Grace crawling out to inspect the mp3 player. It had physically changed, obviously no longer the same device. Something was written around the screen in a language she didn't understand, the word "D-Arc" etched into the back of it. When she flipped it back over, the screen flashing again. This time it wanted her to swipe something in it. "Insert card?" Grace looked at it hard before tossing the device onto the side table. This thing was becoming confusing, dangerous, and... well, just right-down weird.
"T-Travis?" James said faintly. "Maybe it's the who knows how much blood that I lost in that hole, or maybe it's the fact that my head is bleeding out really fast as I speak, but I'm starting to feel sleepy..." he began to close his eyes.
"Oh crap, not this... not THIS..." thought Travis. He started to remember again.
"Jane? JANE? DON'T! Don't leave me!"
"She´s dead Travis. You can't do anything for her. Let her go, or else Hector wil get us."
"I DON'T GIVE A D*** ABOUT HECTOR! JANE'S DEAD BECAUSE OF HIM!"
"Precisely, and if you want to make sure that her death wasn't in vain, you'll get out of here fast. I'll hold them. Meet Cynthia and Lopez at the entrance. GO!"
He pulled out something from his pocket.
"GO! NOW!"
"No James, you won't die on me! Not now..." said Travis, as he finished his sentence mentally "Not now that I've got friends."
Travis took out his jacket and wrapped it around James's head, to stop the bleeding. It still wasn't enough.
"HEY, HELP!" shouted Travis.
"CHAOS HAS COME TO PARRRTTY!!!!" said a young man, shouting out loud, while appearing from out of thin air, both strangely and mysteriously, at where Travis is currently at.
"Get him to the pool, the water will heal him. Get Logan to the hot tub, the heat will heal him." the intercom said. "And since when was there another one of you on board?"
Edited by Xeveemon
"Just now, sorry to disrupt but, im here on a mission, of course, if the ladies like, we can all just leave the men behind and cruise off without them." said the young man, being both arrogant and cheeky, all at the very same time.
"Sorry to disappoint, but I do not take guys and girls on the same ride together. It is part of the rule book I have to live with for the past 2,000 years." the intercom said.
