"I'm good to, a little singed from that fire, but i'm good." said Lucan, Lucan then looked at Jan. "Now, don't hold me to this, but i think it's that dagger doing this to him, it looks like there's dark energy around it." said Lucan. "By the way, name's Lucan, for those of you who don't know....i'm telling the rest of you because you look like people i can trust, just don't betray that trust, you don't wanna know what happens to those guys." said Lucan.

¨Nice to meet you, Lucan, my name is Eugene. I'm a werewolf, and I noticed that you are also a werewolf. Jan, if what Lucan said is right, you've got to get rid of that dagger, or else worse things will happen to you.¨

"Did you all see that?" Claude ran up and aske. "I stabbed him in the back, and he still wouldn't die!" Claude shook his head. "The only other guys who did that were Hercules and Achilles."

"Mythology...were almost like Gilgamesh's stories written in the stone in the city of Uruk." Echo sighed.

(I have a myth book :) )

"Well, did you ever think of stabbing Achilles in the heel, or did Paris' Apollo blessed arrow beat ya to it...a demon, losing a kill to a guy who's never fought or killed anybody a day in his life, the final indignity for a demon, huh, my ancestor did better in the Battle of Thermopylae, i may have been abandoned at a young age and raised by wolves, but i snuck in to the werewolves territory a few times and read up on my families history....we were really good Spartans." said Lucan with a smirk.

"I need it!" Jan yelled, "It answers my questions! It lets me remember..." Jan sighed. The dagger was the source of truth to him. "Can't you listen to me!?" But Jan wasn't talking to the group. He was talking to his memories.

The summer breeze flew through Lyean village. A younger version of Jan was running away from two adults. He was holding a crystal of a psychic. "I need it!" Jan yelled, "It answers my questions! It lets me remember everything! Get away!" Jan yelled. He finally tripped on a stick. The crystal suddenly became covered in a dark aura. Jan, Keith may have left. But we will return. It was La Het Chet's voice. "Get out of my head!" he yelled. He tried pulling at his head. You are the weakest of them all. His parents came up. But they weren't his parents. They were La Het Chet and Keith. They tried to pull the crystal away from him. "Let go!" he yelled. But now in his vision, he was staring at himself. He was La Het Chet. "Let go, you stubborn little brat!" La Het Chet yelled.

Jan tried his best to let go. "Get it off of me!" Jan yelled.

"Jan." Echo looked worried but knew he was having a problem. He reminded Echo of a squirrel. "Your like a little squirrel...You can fight and can be kind...but always struggling." Echo said to him.

"Well," Claude said to Lucan, "I wasn't even at the battle Achilles was killed at. He just mistook me for some underworld creature and attacked me. Same with Hercules." He looked thoughtful. "Kinda true, now that I think about it. And I'm called indignant by every other demon I see; I don't need it from you."

"Is that a compliment?" Jan smiled at Echo. He was snapped back from his daze. He threw the dagger. It flew to a nearby tree. The tree dissolved into a mist. Soon. The mist disappeared. "Finally, peace..." Jan said with relief. "Way too much happened today...so, what are we gonna do with the dagger?" he asked. The aura still remained around it. Jan reached into his hat. No 'exorcising' things. "I think that dagger is too dangerous. Those who wield it get their minds twisted..." Jan noticed he had a headache. "It also contains...La Het Chet?" Jan explained about his first confrontation with La Het Chet, the crow attack, how he threw the dagger at the crow and how his dagger had the aura. He just had to mention riding the crow. It was his first time riding a wild bird. "So, what happened with you guys?"

"Hey, no offense intended, i'm just stating that, being a demon, you should've known about Achilles' deal with the River Styx....though, quick question, why weren't you at the Battle of Troy?" asked Lucan.

"You could put it into that so...ya...I guess it was a complement." Echo said to Jan. "About the dagger...We could somehow burn it and throw it into the creek." Echo laughed. That would be kinda hard. "The demigod came...hurt Lucan...burnt the forest and desinagrated half all my arrows." Echo shuddered.

"Why would I have been there?" Claude asked Lucan. "What would I have gained from it? I'm not like other demons(cue emotional music): preying on the helpless. I can feel. I can be happy,sad..." hIs voice trailed off and he shook his head. "I can love..." He looked back up. (Music cuts off) "What was this about again?"

"Gee, okay." Jan said. "We need to dispose of it somehow. But we CANNOT let it get to the wrong hands. That is a powerful weapon." he nodded towards to the area where the tree used to be. Some of the mist still lingered. "And that carries La Het Chet also..." Jan stopped for a moment. "We can either exorcise those spirits away, or we can dispose of it, or just destroy it. I don't think there's any other option. Do you have any other?"

"Oh great, we got a comedian here." said Lucan, referring to the Claude. Lucan then started thinking of a way to help with their dagger situation. "Well,n there's always the 'Try and kill the demigod possessing the dagger' solution." said Lucan.

¨You guys, maybe we should focus on the bigger picture here.¨ said Eugene. ¨And that is what to do with Jan's dagger. It's definitely an interesting dagger and it reeks of evil, I can smell it. Jan, do you think that this could lead us to La Het Chet, if we were to defeat him, the curse would probably be lifted from this dagger.¨

"That would be too hard..." Jan disagreeing. "La Het Chet is too powerful. And we'd have to kill all the crows we can see....and another question...how will we carry it around with us?"

"A seal that can only be broken by you?" Echo asked hopefully.

"I don't know..." Jan admitted. "I just threw it at the crow. Do you want to see if the dagger affects you the same way?" Jan thought the idea was ludicrous, but he wanted to see also. What if it only affects him and not the others?

"Good point." Echo sighed, standing up."Well My parents are gone and Demigods seem to be coming out of no were so what are we going to do?" Echo asked everyone.

"I say we hunt them down, ripf their skulls from their spines, and walk away laughing!" Claude said. He shook his head. "Sorry, sometimes my demon nature talks before I do. But, you get the idea."

"Wait, what do you mean by gone, gone as in dead, gone as in went on a vacation, gone as in abandoned you, but even so can we crash over at your place?" asked Eugene.

"Well, i don't really know how we're gonna deal with these posers, but, just a heads up for you guys, when night hits, you might wanna avoid the streets for a while, while i hunt some hunters...cause, i don't know about you Eugene, and no offence, but i've learned to control what i'm doing in my werewolf form, and to tell you the truth, the only thing i hate about the change, is the passing out in the morning." said Lucan.

"Um..." Nikki looked at her watch. "I think my mom is waiting for me at home. So I better go," Nikki hopped on her broom.

Eugene replied to Lucan, "I hate the passing out too. I also know how to control myself while I'm in my werewolf form, but I've learned to controll my emotions to kill during some nights, I 100 percent can't control myself during the night of the full moon.

"So, where are we staying?" Jan asked. The sun was setting. "I don't have any home anymore..and it's obvious we have to stay together." Jan walked towards the dagger. Soon. "Does anyone want to see if it affects them also? What if I'm the only person affected by the dagger?" If Jan was the only person affected the dagger, them he would be the one to destroy it. "Also, I need a new weapon. Do you have any weapon shops near here?...oh, and bye Nikki!"
