advfox 698 Posted January 2, 2013 Though I didn't have it for long, XIII wasn't that bad of a game. It didn't meet my expectations of Final Fantasy XII material, but it was OK.
Caity 3,946 Posted January 3, 2013 I'm currently playing FF13 for the first time (only got it this Xmas) and I like the crystalarium.. I do feel the games very linear, moving from open world games where you can travel where you want to a game where no intuition is required since you literally just have to move forward to progress highlighted the linear aspect of it to me, some of the characters are annoying (I find lightning annoying, found it rude and sexist when she punched snow, cause obviously he wasn't gonna hit a girl, specially his fiancees sister, I thought hope should hurry up and confront snow instead of being so mellow dramatic and vanilles accent annoys me. I love sazh though) Most games these days are about graphics though and not real gameplay. So far though I'm enjoying the game, even though its repetitive. Shazzam 142 Posted January 3, 2013 Well, I was planning on getting it and all these arguments have made me want it even more.
Ultima Weapon 71 Posted January 5, 2013 Jackho, you have described most of the things that frustrated me from FFXIII, I could forgive the dumb characters and the linear story if the gameplay were a little more challenging,he cristaryum was just pointless, and the status, come on, just HP and MP to level up, I felt like in kindergarten. Anyway I wouldn't say is the worst game, rather is the most disappointing Final Fantasy I ever played (and I played the ffX-2 that's much saying) 1 axele reacted to this

WhiteCrow 55 Posted January 5, 2013 Did you create this topic just to argue with everyone? Everyone has the right to have an opinion, you too. But even if someone's opinion differs from yours, you do not have the right to claim, that his opinion is wrong. You're talking like everything you say is an absolute fact, not an opinion. I didn't come here to argue, Im just saying how I feel about this. Have a nice day!

It basically holds your hand all the way through. It's like Mystic Quest for the SNES. A FF game for newbies. FF X started out easy too, but then it got hard and near unforgiving near the end. It was more balanced. FF XIII just never lets you off the training wheels. Edited January 6, 2013 by axele 1 Ultima Weapon reacted to this

I been thinking that the biggest problem with the game was call it Final Fantasy, If Squarenix would have called it otherwise, instead of FFXIII,I could overlook it was so disappointing. They could have started another rpg game series to be developed in the same world, at different ages (with diferent characters please), but without having to add a XIII in the name, but I guess it's too late for that (they're still working in FFXIIIversus -_-). 1 axele reacted to this
axele 151 Posted January 8, 2013 (edited) ^ Agree If it was called " Orphan " or something like that, then maybe it wouldn't be so bad. But the FF name sells, so that's why they most likely didn't do it. Because FF = money for the company. c; lolol Versus is just a urban legend like the loch ness monster. The internet made it up. lol jks. But it sure feels like one. Edited January 8, 2013 by axele 1 xxClouDxxmoon reacted to this
