DDD's Optional Stuff (Not Worried About Spoilers)

Posted

KH games have always had a tonne of things to do besides the main quest. Make ice cream, sing songs, fight in tournaments, etc.

But I haven't really heard about anything like that in DDD, so I was wondering if anybody could fill me in on what, if anything, DDD has in this regard.

(A quick note, I'm not talking about the Dream Eater stuff here, I'm talking proper diversions from the main quest)

I believe i've heard that you can fight bosses fought throughout the game again, while they are much stronger then previously.

The main optional boss is Julius which is a monster from some old Mickey Mouse movie

There is also the Frog Prince side quest, but other than that and the two things above, I think they made the Dream Eaters the main diversion

I think that all the training and minigames that you can do with the dream eaters is supposed to supplement for that.

Also in a large scale picture of Traverse Town, there's a Colosseum in...I think it's the 4th district, it's in the Demo, but you can't go inside. so there's a classic side quest, completely defeating the Colosseum...

Is the Colosseum like previous ones, or the Mirage Arena? I heard it's just for Dream Eaters...

Flick Rush,i think it's the name

I honestly don't know, but I think it will be more like KH 1 Colosseum but with Dream Eaters instead of Heartless...

That'd be cool if there was a training area for just the dream spirits (the good dream eaters) also can you choose between Sora/Riku to start the game???

No. You start off playing as Sora in a tutorial, then, when the game properly starts, you start off with Sora in Traverse Town.

Well KH 3D be open world, like will you be able to switch worlds when ever you want like in BBS/KH 2/ KH 1.

As far as I can tell, it's the same as before, except now you have a list of worlds instead of flying around to each world. I haev heard you can replay worlds and refight bosses, so there's that as well...

So if I use the AR cards does that mean I'll have those dream eaters as part of my team and how do you make the good dream eaters ?

AR Cards unlock one random Dream Eater, I believe. These Dream Eaters exist in the game, and can be gotten through normal means, this is just and easy way to do it. Dream Eaters are made by collecting ingredients and following a recipe, like synthesis in previous KH games.

That's very helpful info, I might enjoy this game even more. Now can we transform any nightmares to be good ?

Defeating Nightmares gives you the ingredients you need to make Spirits. As far as I know, every Nightmare has a Spirit counterpart, besides bosses.

Cool cool I'm all set then :)
