What are the movies you like that have bad endings?

Posted

I like The Dark Knight, but I don't like what was done with Two-Face. I found it hard to believe that Rachel's death would make him fall from grace that hard. Why would Batman tell him to "point the gun at the ones responsible for Rachel's death" when it was the Joker's fault? When Harvey died, I was ready to hate the movie, but that wasn't enough. I still like the movie, but not the ending.

Another movie is Wanted. Everything about this movie was awesome until they did that stupid plot twist where the guy Wesley kills on the train is his father and everything Sloan told him was a lie. This movie made me hate plot twists, and this one makes the movie unfun to watch multiple times.

I like Prince of Persia, but the ending was an insult to anyone who watched the movie. I hate how the events of the movie were retconned so everyone forgot everything that happened, sorta like what happened in Sonic '06. I think this movie is part of why I hate what was done with Xion. Erasing memories just make everything seem pointless.

I'm going to take bad to mean a bad outcome for the characters, just so I can mention The Mist. The ending of that movie is absolutely brutal!

I meant "bad" as in hating how the movies end. I couldn't think of how to word the title right.

Yeah I know haha, but I couldn't think of any other movies.

so it is that you hate that the movie's over or that the ending could've been improved

I like Pokemon the first movie, but not the ending because of how it restarted at the part where they are all trying to get to the island, but I did like the part with Mew at the end where Ash only saw it because he mention the first episode ever.

Another would be Captain America, because it tried so hard to fit in events leading into Avengers that it took alot of knowledge on what happened after he became ice and how he got out.

Tangled because some time near the beginning that witch tried to keep a strand for herself but the strand of hair lost its magic the second it left Rapunzel's head. Then at the end most of her hair gets cut off and I could understand how the cut off parts lost their magic but the hair remaining on her head was also magic deprived o3o

some endings are confusing me, It just ruin the entire movie.

I can't remember what movie it was.

I always thought he got back with his kids. I read on wikipedia that the ending was supposed to be ambiguous, that you were supposed to wonder whether it was the dream world or the real world, but I think that it was the real world.

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi

  • Blood and Chocolate.
  • Thor
  • The Woman in Black
