Who do you think are the currently unknown members of the new Organization XIII?

 

Currently confirmed:

- Master Xehanort

- Young Xehanort

- Ansem, Seeker of Darkness/Xehanort's Heartless

- Xemnas/Xehanort's Nobody

- Xigbar

- Saix

 

Uncertain:

- The thirteenth member, originally meant to be Riku, was later changed to Sora. Master Xehanort attempted to give him a fragment of his heart, but Lea appeared at the last moment rescuing Sora. Now, considering how amazing hearts in the Kingdom Hearts universe are, being able to do all sort of stuff, travelling through space included, I personally doubt some flames could stop one. As of now, I would consider unconfirmed whatever Xehanort succeeded or not into making Sora his thirteenth vessel.

- Riku's replica, who does appear during the story, but isn't seen with his hood down at TWTNW.

 

Speculation:

- Terra, who is probably the other person Xehanort was referring to when he told the King "But Sora and another on your list belong to me now.". I think there's a possibility that an amnesiac Terra might be one of the thirteen.

- Vanitas, who should technically be inside Sora's heart along with Ventus. Xehanort might have given him a fragment of his heart not long after he was born, making him the first of his vessels.

While I agree that a simple flame couldn't stop a heart, Lea interrupted the process before Xehanort extracted the fragment he was going to use so I don't think Sora is one of them. Terra-Xehanort is probably one right now but I don't think he'll stay that way, after all part of Sora's destiny is to save him. As for Vanitas he doesn't currently have a physical form, but him appearing before Sora shows that his consciousness is still separate from Ven so its possible he may come back and become one. Also I don't think that was the Riku Replica but a sort of imprint the real Riku left behind. Just like the Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Jiminy that appear in the Dream Worlds. Finally I'm not sure that Young Xehanort is still among them. He said that after 3D he would have to return to his own world and time and give up his knowledge of the future so that the cycle would remain unbroken. Or something like that.

Unconfirmed:

 

- Another Xehanort from a different time: Just an idea I have, nothing to back it up.

 

- Luxord: I have a feeling that Luxord is one of them. In KH2 Luxord came off to me as being one of Xemnas bodyguards. He along with Xigbar and Saïx had to be defeated before they could reach Xemnas. Also, we've barely gotten any screen time with him which is why I want him back. I fear if he returns in his complete human form I have feeling he'll be a good guy like the others restored members, which is why I want him back in the Organization as a bad guy.

 

- Vanitas: Vanitas was close to Xehanort in BbS. I therefor believe that he might have brought him back somehow. Also the fact that Vanitas had golden eyes might be a hint that Xehanort had already made him into a vessel. I don't know if he also had pointy ears due to all his hair being in the way. However, when Vanitas possessed Ventus the latter got golden eyes as well but no pointy ears.

 

- Riku Replica: They say throughout the game that they wanted the original Riku to become one of them, but his resistent towards darkness was to strong. I'm think that they might have taken his confused replica and tricked him into joining them.

 

- Sephiroth: I just think it would be cool if a different type of character were made into one of Xehanort's vessels. It also would make the game even more of a crossover with the other franchises in my opinion if they did something like this.

 

 

 

Then we also have Terra-Xehanort. I don't know if he fits into all of this. Master Xehanort possessed Terra and Terra-Xehanort eventually came into being. We've never gotten any hits or explanation of them being separated. My theory is that the Master Xehanort that appears in KH3D is also taken from the past as most the other members.

The reason why Terra-Xehanort hasn't returned yet might be because Ansem and Xemnas where picked up from the past and dragged into the future. Terra-Xehanort can't return before those two return to their own time and follow their original fate.

It seems that this is the reason for why Braig and Isa hasn't returned yet. Their Nobodies where sent to the future preventing their complete selves to reappear in Radiant Garden.

I don't know. My theory has many flaws I know but so does most video games and movies which has time traveling in them.

I think I'm just going to stop rambling now.

While I do agree that Terra could quite possibly be one of the thirteen darknesses (in fact, I'm kind of counting on it), I can't see Vanitas being one.

 

The reason I can't see Vanitas being one of the thirteen darknesses, is because we see him alongside Young Xehanort at La Cite des Cloches. Why would he later feel the need to keep his hood down, when he had already revealed his face to Sora. I'm almost certain we would have seen him (with his hood off) in Where Nothing Gathers, if he were to be a member.

 

As for Riku Replica, it would make sense in some circles, but not in all. I understand that he appears a number of times to Riku, whilst traveling to different worlds. However, I believe that Riku Replica appearing before Riku was merely one of his dreams toying with his mind, similar to what Sora's dreams did to him. Riku Replica was defeated by the real Riku in Chain of Memories, and since the Replica Program was not known to create copies with hearts, I can see no possible way of Riku Replica returning. He wasn't truly a being at all; he was more a... well, Xigbar said it best... a 'puppet' (even though he was referring to Xion at the time).

While cool this may be, it will never happen. Nomura has stated that the FF characters a mearly guests to this game. And will not really be directly involved in the storyline. Other than fighting with (special bosses) or alongside Sora and his gang.

My problem with this is :

If the piece of heart didnt work in Axel who had no heart and was used to the powers of darkness and used corridors of darkness, why would it work in Lea who has a heart and hasnt fallen to darkness?

It seems to appear that a suitable vessel needs a certain amount of darkness to be a successful vessel which is why it was neccessary for both Terra and Sora to have fallen into darkness for MX's plan to work .

Lets not forget Lea also blocked the fragment with chackrams and fire .( which incinerates)

The original organization were all ATTEMPTED vessels therefore it didnt work .Organization 13= 13 vessels ..He said he figured some PROBABLY wouldnt end up vessels bc of various reasons but he had no way of knowing who at that point till he did it thus his back up plan = time traveling to pick up past versions of himself.

Before, the explanation for gold eyes and pointy ears was because of prolonged exposure to darkness, but that seems to have shifted to being part of Xehanort. So if the latter is true, that would mean Ansem the Wise is one of his vessels as well, right?

I actually think there role being minor is what makes this game as amazing as it is. I think if we had FF characters in the main story line we could just call it Final Fantasy: The Kingdom Hearts chronicles or something of the like. The game was supposed to compose FF like characters with Disney Characters, but both Nomura and Disney agree that the characters that are the "Main" characters either belong to the Disney Univers or Strictly Kingdom Hearts Universe.

He never said they had tried. He said they were supposed to be the vessels, but that most were unsuitable (meaning either treatorous, defeated or just plain useless). So they never got the chance to do it (except for, it seems, Saïx and Xigbar).

He did to say that they were all attempts from the beginning hence why he needed 13 for his organization.... He sent them to be killed bc they were failures and therefore disposable to him . He then used time travel as his BACK UP PLAN bc they were failed attempts..

He did say they were attempts, but not that they had gotten the chance to go through with it. They were all failures because they were traitorous or defeated, which is why the backup plan was needed. And they were sent to castle oblivion because they were suspected of being traitors. That is precisely how it is explained in the game.

Yes they were sent to CO bc they were suspected of being traitors and Axel was sent to eliminate them and Xemnas didnt care bc he knew they were disposable. Vexen and Zexion werent traitors they were killed bc of other reasons. Xemnas states he knew not all would be successful vessels therefore the back up plan --Time travel . That is why he collected 13 members .That is why he said they were never 14 members when refering to Xion ...It was all the members he needed ...13 vessels.. No they were all attempts from the beggining. Sora, and Riku only eliminated the traitors and those who were to weak (and lacking in darkness) for Xehanort's heart to take. Time travel was a fail-safe in case some vessels did not take. It was never said that they never had a chance to implant them they were all implanted from the moment of their birth. The only one who was not a vessel yet was roxas as xemnas di not have the time to implant him before he went rougue.

Kairi might actually be a candidate to be the seventh unknown guardian of light. It'd be pretty cool if she finally managed to be kickass like Aqua and Xion were.
