RP Background

Before there were heartless. Before there were nobodies. There were the keyblade-wielders. With power unparalleled in combat, and the abilities to wield great strength, these lucky few were the ones entrusted with keeping the world safe. Many followed the way of light, using it to their advantage in a quest to help people. But a growing number are beginning to realize that it's not the only way. Some are utilizing a darkness, long since locked away, and reaching potential thought impossible by the ways of light. To them, the power is worth it, to help those they cherish or gain selfish power for themselves. Either for good reasons or bad, some are turning to the ways of darkness, and their rate is growing at an unnerving speed.

War seems inevitable. In this time there is a king of all worlds; long before Mickey came to rule. He (or she depending on gender, see below) has seen the growing tide of dark influences, and the unrest it has caused with the followers of light. So the king has called forth all the great Keyblade Masters to the caslte, and in their wake come students and other such keyblade wielders as well, in hopes to quell the unrest, and settle the matter between the two factions. But we all know that such a thing won't come to pass. War will happen, the attempts of the king, whether it is to restore light or to simply bring peace even with the acceptance of darkness, will in the end be nothing. But still, it must be attempted. Still, something must be done. For however this keyblade war will end, those who are part of it must fight for what they believe in with all their might, for it is their determination that shall pave the way to the future of all worlds.

 

 

Outline of RP

The RP begins in the Castle of All Worlds, what will later be known as Disney Castle. All of your characters will be there for one reason or another; perhaps they are a keyblade master who has gained great respect over a long career, or perhaps just a student who has come along with their master or came without invitation to simply see what was going on. And of course, anywhere in between. Be creative. The position of the King or Queen will be one I hope one of you will fill. I will allow the first submission looking to be King or Queen to get the position as long as their sign up form is accepted. From there on, whether you are King, Master, student, or anything in between, you must choose where you stand on the light/dark spectrum, from a steadfast supporter of the ways of light, or someone who's found their way into darkness, or perhaps in the process of deciding. Remember all this when going forward, and thanks for reading all this, so just read the rules, fill out the sign up form, and let's get this RP going!

 

Rules:

-One Character per person, this is so you get invested in your single character and interactions with other RPers, as opposed to just trying to make your own mini-story with a bunch of your own characters. You are allowed to create some action and dialogue for minor characters around you, though.

 

-Do your very best to stay with the RP. If you sign up, please don't abandon it, I'd love to see an ending to whatever story we all tell together. This is especially true for the person who will become King or Queen.

 

-Try to spell as best you can, proper grammar would also be appreciated as well as you can provide it.

 

-This is not your story alone. Create as fleshed out a character as you can, but remember that your interaction with others is where the magic happens, so try to stay involved with others as well.

 

-No unreasonably powerful abilities, or god-modding. I will hold you to the abilities you list on your character form, that is how I'll decide whether they are reasonable enough for the RP.

 

-Intricate planning and twists are allowed and encouraged, I suggest using messaging with the other players involved to plan it out. Make the story as interesting as possible.

"Okay......." Zanox said, staggering.

Nathan backed away from Dark Man. "Why does this man can follow my movements so well?" Nathan thought and jumped over the Dark Man and covered his RainFall on fire and slashed. "I already said, I have always been with you. Ofcourse I know your strategies" Dark Man said and blocked Nathan attack shiftly and send him flying.

Nathan grunted and runned around Dark Man. "Binding Chains!" Nathan casted chain of light on Dark Man and then casted ice barrage. "This should do"

 

"Not quite Nathan" Dark Man said and took chain off. "Impossible! It had no effect!" Nathan shouted and then Dark Man slashed Nathan and Nathan fell down. "You can't defeat me" Nathan started to panick with his attacks and tried to think right strategy to win against Dark Man. "Why!" Nathan thought and got kicked on wall again by Dark Man. "He will kill me if I don't do something, but why? Why does, he seems so.. sad?" Nathan thought and blocked Dark Man's attack. Nathan noticed how his RainFall started to crack. "Shit!"

 

"How long does it still take?" Suzia said in white room holding Nathan down with his binding spell. "If you can't figure it out you are finished"

 

Nathan casted wall of ice in front of Dark Man and thought: "When I think about it, if he's other me. Then how can I fight him. It's not like I could hurt ´myself´"

"It's over, Nathan" Dark Man said and then slashed through wall of ice and stabbed Nathan. "You shall die now"

 

Nathan coughed, but then smiled. "it looks like that You can't hurt me" Nathan said and took hold of Dark Man's keyblade. "You got it right, we are same existence. We can't fight ourselves if we accept each other" Dark Man said and unsummoned his keyblade. "This is truth, we are both locked in this one existence: we are same person, but until now you just haven't used this part of you, other words you haven't used my power" Dark Man said.

 

"I know, is this same for everyone?" Nathan asked thinking, if everyone had to do this training. "No. You can ask about this from father" Dark Man said and then turned around. "You may use my powers, that way you can be help for everyone. You can save your fellow students and masters. There is few rules you must remember and one other promise:"

( I leave those "rules" as secret for now)

"I wonder what her dark side is like..." Saez wondered. Mount Ordeals, quite a place indeed. He wondered why she choose now to venture here. Then he heard the other voice. The other her, from somewhere within. It was a dark form of her, but not a controlled kind, not the kind that could be stopped if it got a foothold in you mind, and took advantage of your fears. The voices were muffled inside, and he couldn't tell what they were talking about, but he could tell that it seemed to be a one-sided discussion, and perhaps soon-to-be-battle.

 

"Juno, you're strong enough to beat this uncontrollable darkness." Saez whispered, as if she could hear him. Even if this dark form took it's hold, Juno would not be the dark wielder Saez had come to procure. She would lose her old identity entirely. The power she would gain from darkness would mean nothing. Saez put his hand in front of him, and Chaos Ripper appeared. He could make an exception of turning her to darkness this one time.

 

Suddenly, in the mirrored room, between Juno and her dark side, a keyblade seemed to fly out of nowhere. It landed in front of Juno, sticking into the ground. It was Chaos Ripper, but only for a moment. Then the shell of Chaos Ripper shattered, showing Ultima Weapon, Saez's original keyblade, it almost seemed to be shining, ready to be wielded. A light in the darkness.

 

"Hope it helps, Juno."

 

Just this once, one last helping hand.

"Oh, Sekai. You should probably talk to Eugene. Lift his spirits. He seems like hes in a bad place." Lexia telled Sekai has she was watching him sprint up to the mansions roof. Lexia sighed and walked back into the mansion shivering at the temperature change from outside to inside. Lexia walked up to the dorms looking for Anya when she sensed a sudden ripple of darkness. I hope its just nothing, my sensing abilty isn't always right, Lexia thought shaking her head looking for something to occupy her thoughts. She decide she would go up to the roof and talk to Eugene. Help him get over his anger. Lexia walked out into the garden where there was a pavillion and she jumpd on top of its roof to support her onto the mansions roof. When she got up to the top she noticed Eugene siting by himself hunched over. She took a look around and then sat next to Eugene an appropiate distance away. "The sunset really is pretty from up her don't you think." Lexia said to Eugene trying lamely to start a conversation.

Nathan's face was clearly shocked from rules he just heard, but still he answered calmly: "I can agree to that" Dark Man chuckled and then said: "I was expecting that you would" Nathan shook hands with Dark Man and then he asked: "Tell me: Do you have name?" "Well, since I'm just other existence of you... You may call me Zero"

"Okay Zero. Are you ready?" Nathan asked and absorbed Zero on himself.

 

Bright explosion destroyed binding spell of Suzia and then Suzia thought: "Didn't Nathan make it?" "I'm back, father" Nathan said and walked out from explosion, surrounded by light, but there was something different in his light. Like it would have been darker. "So you made it" Suzia said and was about to go back upstairs from basement, but Nathan stopped him. "Tell me, what is this Zero?" Nathan glanced at his father.

 

Suzia sighed and then said: "It was sixth day after you had born. Dark wielder appeared. He collapsed in front of mansion and I took care of him, I couldn't bear to see man dying in front of me, but I don't know why: He said how he could now entrust his heart to future. Then he just died. Vanished in thin air"

"So what does this has to do with me" Nathan asked and Suzia continued: "As you know, me nor you mother are keyblade bearers, but you still have that ability. What I thought was that you carry that dark wielder's heart and that way you are able to wield keyblade"

 

"I see" Nathan said and then walked upstairs. "What are we gonna do now?" Nathan asked. "This world is surrounded by dark wielders and your master has left, probably after king" "Well figures, that is what my master is alike" Nathan said and then stepped in gardens. "Father gather everyone here after two hours, I would like to directly discuss about this situation with everyone"

Rexon walks into the main hall of the mansion, looks around and loud enough for the entire place he shouts: "Helloooo!!! Anyone here? I sensed many lights here and wondered if someone could help me with something! Heeeeyyyy!!!!"

Kai appeared in front of Rexon and smiled. "Hey I'm Kai. Nice to meet you," Kai said. Kai's light was great.

Rexon jumped back a bit, summons his keyblade, and shouts: "Who are you really?! And why is it you look so much like Axus?!"

"If I told you that, you wouldn't understand. But you still seem a trustworthy and understandable person. So I'll tell you," Kai said as the room darkened and the two stood on a circular platform. It had Kai on one side, Axus on the other, and one person in the middle wielding two Kingdom Keys in the opposite direction. "Look below you and tell me what do you see," Kai asked as he smiled.

Rexon looks down and sees Axus, Kai, and a person he doesn't recognize. Confused he asks: "Who is that guy in the middle? Is he connected to Axus in some way?"

Juno lunged for the Ultima Weapon, but her double was quicker. It probably had something to do with this stifling darkness...

 

The shadow grabbed the new Keyblade by the hilt, throwing it directly upward. It lodged into the ceiling, reflective crystal trickling down on her head as she kicked Juno back. "Looks like you're not alone after all." Juno pulled herself back up, using her Keyblade for leverage. Was Saez really trying to help? She would think it was hard to believe right now, but nothing seemed to make sense. "For every light, there must be an equivelant source of darkness." She preached, her voice still buzzing slightly.

 

"Don't tell me what I already know." Juno lurched forward, Saint Cross' holy blast rocketing into the sky, the cross stretching as far as the chamber would allow. The doppelganger cocked her head as a black beam shot skyward behind her as well, the dark cross' arms extending at her shoulder level; an exact inverse of Juno's spell. The two crosses fluctuated violently before dispersing, their magic simply falling dead. Juno sneered as she charged the shadow, her dark other again mirroring every strike. The dark Juno spun around, putting her light counterpart into an arm lock. Juno dropped her Keyblade as her other pulled closer, her glowing amber eyes piercing her soul.

 

"I just told you. We're equals in all respects but one." She twisted Juno's arm back, throwing the Master over her shoulder. She hit the ground with a heavy thud. "I have the determination and will to do what needs to be done. You know what I'm talking about." Her glowing eyes narrowed. "Straight-up, you don't have the balls to help Saez. You can't even help your own Master, or those fools that you call apprentices." Holy magic quickly spread throughout the cavern, holy pillars shooting up through the mountain itself. In Mysidia, the mages turned in disbelief at the sight, but it was what followed that would confound them. Black pillars followed moments later, the two spells once again cancelling each other out. Inside the chamber, the dopelganger kicked Juno over onto her stomach. "Salvation... Damnation... I just told you! You can't overpower me!" She reached up, grabbing the hilt of Saez' Ultima Weapon as it fell. With her free hand, she pulled juno up, slamming her into the wall. Debris was still raining down behind the doppelganger as Juno's head swam, her vision blurring slightly. "Just as I said before. You're weak, Juno. And you know how the world works." Juno dropped to her feet as the shadow released her grip, driving her arm into the Master's chest a second later. Her arm dissolved up to the point of entry, black smoke and tendrils snaking out of the wound and through Juno's body. "Why not give up the reigns for a bit? Let me show you how things should be done..."

 

"I'll... never-" But Juno was cut off as she was headbutted back into the wall, the doppelganger pulling her arm out and replacing it with Ultima Weapon. Dark power coursed through the Keyblade, forcing it to return to its Chaos Ripper state.

 

"I'm sorry. That was a rhetorical question." Juno's vision blacked out suddenly, the shadow's golden eyes the last thing she saw before losing all feeling, the world around her dropping, vanishing.

Eugene said to Lexia, "Yeah, sunsets are pretty cool. I don't remember the last time that I took time to watch the sunset before. I guess that right now, it makes me feel at peace, even though everything else that is going on is chaotic."

"That's our body. His name is Tyrax. I am the Light of Tyrax and Axus is the darkness. He has two Keyblades because of this. Axus, and I were separated by the greatest wizard in the worlds, Master Sage. He also put Tyrax in a sleep because he didn't want Tyrax to become the King Of Twilight. We seek to merge back with him so that we may be one again," Kai said as he summoned his Kingdom Key. "This is the Kingdom Key of Light. It's one of Tyrax's keyblades," Kai said as everything turned back to normal.

Rexon, a bit curious asks: "Exactly what did Tyrax intend to do when he tried to become the King of Twilight, as it's called?"

"He didn't want to become the King Of Twilight. He only wanted to balance the two sides of Light and Darkness so that they may live in harmony. A witch named Lumine (Lu-min-aye) told him that it was his destiny to become the Twilight King. That's when Master Sage hunted Tyrax down. Tyrax was good just like you Keyblade Wielders. Let me ask you a question. Do you know what a Twilight King is?" Kai asked as he recalled his keyblade.

Rexon, filled with curiousity says: "No. Not at all."

"A Twilight King is the King of both light and darkness. Think of it as a bridge between light and darkness. If one is created, then it would end the war between light and darkness for good. Enough of my story. The time is at hand where Axus will declare war in the graveyard of fallen keys. (In BBS, it's called Keyblade Graveyard) I must train you," Kai said as he summoned the platform back. "We are in a private world. Here, no one can teleport or interrupt us," Kai said as he summoned his Kingdom Key. "Come at me. Rexon!" Kai said.

Rexon smiles with entertainment and says: "Usually I don't train with other wielders, but I'll humour you and make an exception!" Rexon charges at Kai and says: "Let's go!!"

Kai moved to the side to dodge Rexon's charge then tripped him up with his keyblade. "I may not look much, but I'm as strong as Axus," Kai said.

Rexon was on the ground, chuckling a bit and replies: "And like I said to Axus, I'm not your average wielder!" Rexon quickly got on his feet, kicked Kai at the torso and made a five slash combo.

Kai blocked the kick and parried the five slash combo. "You're good but too repetitive. Try to mix it up," Kai said as he appeared behind Rexon.

Rexon, a little annoyed says: "So you're going to do the disappearing act too? I shouldn't be surprised though." Rexon turns around, summons a tornado around Kai, jumps up to the top and fires a volley of fireballs. Rexon: I know no one has done this yet.

Bio: Since he was young Austin was a talented keyblade warrior who became a master only six months since he began his training. He is great at using elemental magic and healing magic. He tries to avoid fighting if possible unless there are people in danger. he hopes for an age where everyone can live in peace

Abilities: light aura - surrounds himself or alies in light to heal them

light barrier - creates a barrier that repels darkness

light shards - shards of light start raining down on his enemies

light orb - creates an orb of light that explodes with a blinding light causing damage to surrounding enemies

Darkness appeared that made all the magic disappeared. "So this is where you were, Kai," Axcell said. "Axus!" Kai shouted. "Who's Axus? Oh that's the old me. My new name is Thantaros Axcell," Axcell said as he walked through the darkness and onto the platform. His hair was long and black. His robe was completely black and black trimmed. His aura alone shook the place with darkness. "Strong as me? Ha! Remember I had to look after you when we were in Tyrax!" Axcell said as he looked at Rexon. "You again," Axcell said as he looked away as if Rexon wasn't even there. "Returning my memories altered my keyblade. I now have a kingdom key. I kinda liked my other keyblade. I want it back," Axcell said as he stared at Kai. "You can't. That's your original keyblade. It can no longer be altered," Kai said. "I see. Then both of you die!" Axcell said as he laughed.
