RP Background

Before there were heartless. Before there were nobodies. There were the keyblade-wielders. With power unparalleled in combat, and the abilities to wield great strength, these lucky few were the ones entrusted with keeping the world safe. Many followed the way of light, using it to their advantage in a quest to help people. But a growing number are beginning to realize that it's not the only way. Some are utilizing a darkness, long since locked away, and reaching potential thought impossible by the ways of light. To them, the power is worth it, to help those they cherish or gain selfish power for themselves. Either for good reasons or bad, some are turning to the ways of darkness, and their rate is growing at an unnerving speed.

War seems inevitable. In this time there is a king of all worlds; long before Mickey came to rule. He (or she depending on gender, see below) has seen the growing tide of dark influences, and the unrest it has caused with the followers of light. So the king has called forth all the great Keyblade Masters to the caslte, and in their wake come students and other such keyblade wielders as well, in hopes to quell the unrest, and settle the matter between the two factions. But we all know that such a thing won't come to pass. War will happen, the attempts of the king, whether it is to restore light or to simply bring peace even with the acceptance of darkness, will in the end be nothing. But still, it must be attempted. Still, something must be done. For however this keyblade war will end, those who are part of it must fight for what they believe in with all their might, for it is their determination that shall pave the way to the future of all worlds.

 

 

Outline of RP

The RP begins in the Castle of All Worlds, what will later be known as Disney Castle. All of your characters will be there for one reason or another; perhaps they are a keyblade master who has gained great respect over a long career, or perhaps just a student who has come along with their master or came without invitation to simply see what was going on. And of course, anywhere in between. Be creative. The position of the King or Queen will be one I hope one of you will fill. I will allow the first submission looking to be King or Queen to get the position as long as their sign up form is accepted. From there on, whether you are King, Master, student, or anything in between, you must choose where you stand on the light/dark spectrum, from a steadfast supporter of the ways of light, or someone who's found their way into darkness, or perhaps in the process of deciding. Remember all this when going forward, and thanks for reading all this, so just read the rules, fill out the sign up form, and let's get this RP going!

 

Rules:

-One Character per person, this is so you get invested in your single character and interactions with other RPers, as opposed to just trying to make your own mini-story with a bunch of your own characters. You are allowed to create some action and dialogue for minor characters around you, though.

 

-Do your very best to stay with the RP. If you sign up, please don't abandon it, I'd love to see an ending to whatever story we all tell together. This is especially true for the person who will become King or Queen.

 

-Try to spell as best you can, proper grammar would also be appreciated as well as you can provide it.

 

-This is not your story alone. Create as fleshed out a character as you can, but remember that your interaction with others is where the magic happens, so try to stay involved with others as well.

 

-No unreasonably powerful abilities, or god-modding. I will hold you to the abilities you list on your character form, that is how I'll decide whether they are reasonable enough for the RP.

 

-Intricate planning and twists are allowed and encouraged, I suggest using messaging with the other players involved to plan it out. Make the story as interesting as possible.

this is my frst RP

Okay.. I'm going to edit mine.

As an RP-wide comment: I'm going to give it maybe one or two more hours for anyone who wants to join in before we begin (Anyone can still join after the start of the RP too) and after that I'll post my character and begin the RP, so everyone be ready!

Here's my character:

Bio: Saez has been king for years. He originally took over after a period where there was no king, a large threat appeared in one of the worlds, and Saez was the was to lead the attack of keyblade wielders that guaranteed the continued safety of the worlds. Even though he had only been a Master for a short time, he was made king by many of the great Keyblade Masters of the time. He ruled as best he could, trying to maintain peace within all the worlds. The keyblade wielders like himself were his task force, set to keeping the worlds safe and securing the power of light.But recently, as years have passed on, some have begun to find the long-lost power of darkness. Saez could not bring himself to simply destroy anybody for using the power of darkness, but the growing rift between the factions of light and darkness have now forced him to act. He's lost and gained friends throughout his reign, but even now he has to wonder whether he'll be able to keep peace in the universe.

 

Appearance: He has short dark brown hair, and wears a small red our-jacket over his black shirt. Along with that he wears grey pants that come down to his crimson shoes.

 

Weapon/Keyblade: Ultima Weapon

 

Abilities:

 

Zantetsuken: First pointing the keyblade backwards, the user then charges an enemy and makes a single powerful slice, moving so fast that they appear behind the enemy and the attacks damage only being evident afterward.

 

Thundaga: Summon powerful lighting strikes around the user, harming any enemies nearby.

 

Triple Firaga: The user launches three powerful fireballs at an enemy.

 

Limit: Activation of Final Form: All of Saez's clothes turn white and he gain unparallelled speed and power, incredibly hard to trigger.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now I'm going to write the opening post and once it's up, we can all begin!

Saez tapped on his chair anxiously. They called it a throne but it was uncomfortable, it was rigid, and it never made him feel any more powerful. He looked at the huge room he sat in, kings had ruled here in great times, using their keyblades to guarantee peace for their lifetime. They had chosen their friends well and everyone loved them. They had never been in this situation, though, and Saez kept wondering what they might have done if they were. Was he right in bringing ll the keyblade masters and many other keyblade wielders here? Was this really going to guarantee peace? He sighed. He could only hope so.

 

"You're Majesty, we've spotted several arrivals coming towards us now." Vaehn was as loyal a king's assistant could be. He was one of the few friends Saez could count on for all this. But even then he wouldn't be able to help if things went bad.

 

"Thanks, Vaehn, I'll go see them now." Saez responded. He stood up and began to walk down the long carpeted area of the throne room. He reached the door and stepped out into the courtyard. This is where everyone would arrive.

 

Saez saw several keyblade wielders in the sky above him, they'd be on the ground in about a minute. He breathed in deeply, this was it. This was going to either secure peace, or be the beginning of war.

 

Saez didn't even know whether darkness was that terrible, he had seen it used for good purposes, but the point was that neither faction wanted to have the other being as powerful as they both were. Something had to happen. Saez just didn't know what it was that was going to happen. He thought about it and figured that it would all come down to the people who were about to arrive. Depending on their actions, and his actions too, that was what would decide their future. He looked up to the sky and saw them seconds away from touching down in the courtyard. Light, Dark, Student, Master, everyone was here. Saez wasn't sure how this was going to go.

 

But one thing was clear.

 

Things were about to change.

 

And so Saez stepped into the courtyard, where the keyblade wielders had just landed.

Lamia walked over to Saez and sighed. This is great...a war? Just what I wanted... she thought sarcastically.

Saez looked over the first keyblade wielder to approach him. She was oddly young, and he had never seen her before. He held out his hand.

 

"Hi there, I'm Saez, the, uh, king. I don't believe I've met you before, so let me be the first to welcome you to the Castle of All Worlds. Are you a student? What's you're name, and where is your master?"

"My name is Lamia Bishop, I am a student and sadly do not have a master." Lamia grunted, looking away.

Raynd landed in the courtyard of the castle of all worlds. 'There seems to be quite a few more keyblade wielders than I thought. If there were to be a war, as long as we stick together nothing will happen.' He thought to himself.

Raynd walked over the his king and slightly bowed his head by just moving his neck then rose his head to look at who he was talking to. Raynd was one of heart respect and respected those who have earned it. "Your Majesty, I am keyblade master Raynd, pleased to meet you."

'So this is the Castle of all worlds, its huge!'

Chase said to himself as he arrived at the courtyard, seeing multiple keyblade students and masters alike speaking to the king.

'I wonder if i can find a keyblade master to help me gain power and master my dark abilities.'Chase thought.

'I better go introduce myself i don't want to offend his majesty.'Chase spoke softly to himself while approaching the king

'Your majesty its an honor i'm keyblade apprentice Chase yuki.'Chase said as he kneeled in respect.

Axus took off his hood. His black robe made himself seem ominous. "I'm here for one thing only. To kill Saez," Axus told himself.

Master Juno Grace entered the courtyard, staying outside of the group that was gathering around their King. Juno knew Saez before he became King, but they were never close. More... casual acquaintances.

 

Juno knelt down under a nearby tree, closing her eyes and mind to the noises around her. She had asked her apprentice, Nathan Walker, to join her here when he arrived. Juno had felt the ripples of darkness coursing through the worlds for the past few weeks. While darkness must exist to balance the light, the two had been dancing in equilibrium for some time, threatening this balance. Juno let out a deep, soothing breath. Meditation always helped Juno to calm her mind. Her shoulders relaxed, any tension in her body escaping with her breath.

 

When Saez was done with the new arrivals, she would meet with him.

Lexia looked back over her shoulder at her little sister, Anya, landing gracefully behind her. Good she faired the travel here well. She thought as she turned around suddenely hit with all the powerful keyblade auras she felt around her. Man, this is going to be........ different. Lexia thought trying to find a word that described all the flowing emotions that welled up inside as she walked confidently toward the king. "Hi, I'm Lexia and thats my little sister Anya. I'm a keyblade master and I've been training Anya for five years. We look forward in helping you in your upcoming battles."

Saez looked around, a light smile on his face, they all seemed nice enough. If only for now, the courtyard had the feeling of tranquility and peace.

 

"Lamia, Chase, Raynd, Lexia, Anya it's an honor to meet you all. I am Saez, and feel free to call me just that, you are all my guests here, I should be the one with formalities.

 

He turned to face Lamia "I'm sure you will have no trouble finding masters if you seek them, we'll have many wielders around if you seek company as well."

 

Turning back to the rest he gave a final word. "Well, more and more keyblade wielders will be arriving soon, if you all are looking for your rooms." Saez pointed down a ways of the courtyard to a section of dorms. "You will find them down there. Feel free to meet the other masters and students roaming the grounds as they arrive, and I will certainly see all you very soon once the rest of the arrivals get here."

 

Saez gave a small bow and smiled at them as he gave another look across the crowd. Who would he greet next? He sighed as he looked over the many keyblade wielders, wondering if the next time he saw some of them would be on a battlefield. The greeting was going to be the easy part of this meeting.

Lamia sighed and walked over to the dorms, picking one randomly and sitting on the bed not knowing exactly to do.

Anya hopped down, landing softly behind her sister and master Lexia. She looked around her, eyes sparkling. "Wow, the Castle of All Worlds!" she whispered in awe, following Lexia to the king. "It's truly an honor to be here, your majesty." Anya added, with a small cursty. She turned to look across the courtyard. There was a definiate feeling that something would change on this trip.

Eugene landed just outside of the courtyard. Hmph, all that I'm interested is in gaining more power, no matter what happens I will become the most powerful keyblade wielder that there ever was, or will ever be again, Eugene thought. Eugene then walked into the courtyard whilst seeing people whom he had never met before. I wonder if all of these people are strong. But he had also noticed that there were people of light there as well. Hmph, these people who belong to the light, all of them are weaklings who should never use a keyblade, he thought. He had then took a good long stare at everyone before him trying to memorize their appearances, for if he were to meet them again sometime in the foreseeable future. He then tried to find the one who was the king among all of these people. He found the king almost immediately and was wondering why exactly did the king call of them to appear before him. Was it because he wanted them to talk things out, and try to come up with a treaty, that they won't go to war, he didn't know. All that Eugene knew was that he wouldn't take part of a treaty to not go to war. But as he thought about that, he realized that if he did agree not to go to war, he could catch them all off guard, and completely destroy the light. Eugene gave out a chuckle as he thought of what the people would say if he betrayed the agreement. But for now, he would wait to see what the King would say.

Now seemed to be a good time. Juno opened her eyes, gracefully standing from her position under the tree. It seemed that Nathatn hadn't arrived yet, but it was of no consequence right now. She found Saez, approaching him formally. "Your Majesty. It has been too long." Juno curtsied in a bowing fashion, the ribbons and streamers that flowed from her robes trailing with the motion. "I am honored that you have called me here. I fear my apprentice is... delayed, at the moment, Hopefully this will not impede anything."

(I feel a little behind; oh well) Rexon landed in the courtyard on one knee, with a little electricity from the travel, and smiles while thinking: 'Cool I made it; now, to find the king, make some friends, and by some weird, unexpected chance, an enemy.' Rex then starts walking and searches for Saez.

Raynd also walked to the dorms and followed Lamia. "I hear you are in need of a master, am I correct?"

Raynd thought that he could be a perfect master for Lamia. He could sence great potential in the young wielder.

"Yes. But I dont think it matters." Lamia said, looking at Raynd.

Raynd nodded. "It doesn't really , but how would you like to have one? "

Lamia sighed and looked straight at Raynd. "Sure, whatever. I am Lamia Bishop. You are?" she asked, raising her eyebrow.

Saez nodded with a smile toward Anya's greeting as she began to turn away. He immediately spotted Juno when she approached him. As she greeted him, he found an involuntary grin on his face.

 

"Juno, it's good to see you again, you have my deepest gratitude for being able to make it today. Oh, and please, 'Saez' is fine."

 

Of all the Masters, Juno was on of those he could just simply trust. She was veteran, and whenever he had needed her assistance for any matters, he was always thankful for her abilities.

 

"Don't worry about your apprentice, I'll be happy to meet him soon, but it's no problem for me if he's not here at the moment."

 

He looked at her and then over the crowd. He found himself able to at last speak about the troubles everyone was avoiding for a moment. It would be the first time he brought it up, but not the last.

 

"Look at all of them. They have all studied so hard to be such skilled fighters, and now I'm not even sure if I can guarantee they won't be fighting each other before long." He looked back to Juno. "I'm calling a meeting of masters once all the arrivals are done. It's not something I'm looking forward to, but the growing tide of darkness needs to be addressed." He suddenly felt bad for reminding her of the negative context of the situation they both found themselves. "But I forget myself, how have you been?"
