RP Background

Before there were heartless. Before there were nobodies. There were the keyblade-wielders. With power unparalleled in combat, and the abilities to wield great strength, these lucky few were the ones entrusted with keeping the world safe. Many followed the way of light, using it to their advantage in a quest to help people. But a growing number are beginning to realize that it's not the only way. Some are utilizing a darkness, long since locked away, and reaching potential thought impossible by the ways of light. To them, the power is worth it, to help those they cherish or gain selfish power for themselves. Either for good reasons or bad, some are turning to the ways of darkness, and their rate is growing at an unnerving speed.

War seems inevitable. In this time there is a king of all worlds; long before Mickey came to rule. He (or she depending on gender, see below) has seen the growing tide of dark influences, and the unrest it has caused with the followers of light. So the king has called forth all the great Keyblade Masters to the caslte, and in their wake come students and other such keyblade wielders as well, in hopes to quell the unrest, and settle the matter between the two factions. But we all know that such a thing won't come to pass. War will happen, the attempts of the king, whether it is to restore light or to simply bring peace even with the acceptance of darkness, will in the end be nothing. But still, it must be attempted. Still, something must be done. For however this keyblade war will end, those who are part of it must fight for what they believe in with all their might, for it is their determination that shall pave the way to the future of all worlds.

 

 

Outline of RP

The RP begins in the Castle of All Worlds, what will later be known as Disney Castle. All of your characters will be there for one reason or another; perhaps they are a keyblade master who has gained great respect over a long career, or perhaps just a student who has come along with their master or came without invitation to simply see what was going on. And of course, anywhere in between. Be creative. The position of the King or Queen will be one I hope one of you will fill. I will allow the first submission looking to be King or Queen to get the position as long as their sign up form is accepted. From there on, whether you are King, Master, student, or anything in between, you must choose where you stand on the light/dark spectrum, from a steadfast supporter of the ways of light, or someone who's found their way into darkness, or perhaps in the process of deciding. Remember all this when going forward, and thanks for reading all this, so just read the rules, fill out the sign up form, and let's get this RP going!

 

Rules:

-One Character per person, this is so you get invested in your single character and interactions with other RPers, as opposed to just trying to make your own mini-story with a bunch of your own characters. You are allowed to create some action and dialogue for minor characters around you, though.

 

-Do your very best to stay with the RP. If you sign up, please don't abandon it, I'd love to see an ending to whatever story we all tell together. This is especially true for the person who will become King or Queen.

 

-Try to spell as best you can, proper grammar would also be appreciated as well as you can provide it.

 

-This is not your story alone. Create as fleshed out a character as you can, but remember that your interaction with others is where the magic happens, so try to stay involved with others as well.

 

-No unreasonably powerful abilities, or god-modding. I will hold you to the abilities you list on your character form, that is how I'll decide whether they are reasonable enough for the RP.

 

-Intricate planning and twists are allowed and encouraged, I suggest using messaging with the other players involved to plan it out. Make the story as interesting as possible.

Zanox woke up. "Why do i feel so weird? Why do i have an urge to......"

Rexon, curious and suspicious to Anoxs' comment thinks: 'They didn't attack him? With him smiling like that, I'll really have to be cautious.' Rexon sees Zanox waking up and says with relief: "Glad to see you're okay Zanox."

(Sorry I wasn't posting; I was at work. Just act like I ran out there and fought with everyone else.)

 

Raynd stood there with his Crimson Zephyr in hand, looking at the corrupted keyblade wielder that everyone else was focused on. "What should we do?"

"I think...I'm gonna go do something!" Zanox ran out. "Why? What is this feeling? Why do i feel so...Weird?"

Juno lowered the blade, stepping back. "Yes... of course, my liege." She stood a few yards behind Saez, patiently waiting for the result of this confrontation. She would respect the King's decision to face this boy alone... at least until she felt it was necessary to intervene.

"I'll just Leave everyone. That's what I'll do. I Don'twant to hurt anyone...."

In mean time Nathan had taken younger students inside the castle and then casted defensive spell on door. "Are you sure that this will hold them off" One of students asked. Nathan chuckled: "Probably not, I just have to hold them off untill masters can do something for this... but don't worry, I can handle them if they break through"

 

Nathan felt blow in other side of door. "So they are already in here. Now lets see how long I can hold this door shut" Nathan thought and then told others back away from the door. Second blow, the barrier got small crack. Third blow, more cracks. "This door won't last long at this rate" Nathan thought as he started to feel little bit exhausted for keeping his barrier spell activated so long.

 

Nathan pointed the way the students should go and hide when Nathan realized that he can't hold them off anymore with this. "How many are there, probably five? they aren't very strong, but they can do pretty big things with their numbers... Hey what if I?!" Nathan thought and casted smaller barrier on door and then casted few different magic spells inside the room. Nathan had always been good at thinking up strategies, so he set up various traps and other things for dark keyblade wielders.

 

Door blew up. Nathan took some cover and then dodged attack. "You don't stand change boy" Nathan chuckled: "Hah, I'm afraid that you can't beat my strategy" Nathan activated his spell and dark warriors were locked up inside barriers.

"This is strategy? HAHAHA!" Dark Keyblade wielders mocked and started to break through. "Not actually" Nathan smirked and barriers exploded.

 

One of the dark keyblade wielders were still conscious and attacked on Nathan. "WHy you little!" "You are such a stupid, this is why you are inferior" Nathan said and casted one spell he had hidden on floor. "Firaga"

 

"That takes care of them"Nathan said and went after younger students. "But I can't set these traps up forever, sooner or later I'm gonna lose if the masters aren't gonna do anything" Nathan thought and then locked the door.

"It's darkness," Axus said as he appeared in front of Zanox. About this time, little traces of darkness was leaking out of him.

"WHY DON'T YOU JUST DIE!!!! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU!!!" Eugene said as he had started to charge up once again, only this time his attack will be different. Eugene will use dark firadaga, where both firaga and thundaga combine for a powerful attack which is his limit break. But Eugene can only use this once a day, because it uses up too much off his power. Anyway, once Eugene had finished powering up, he pointed his keyblade at Saez, and shouted "DARK FIRADAGA!!" His keyblade shot the attack out, and it headed towards Saez at a fast speed.

Axus saw Eugene's attack. He quickly appeared in front of Saez and outstretched both his hands. When the dark firadaga was coming at him, he clapped his hands together and the magic disappeared. "How about you calm down?" Axus asked Eugene as he walked up to him and smiled.

"Axus. This kid is no joke." Saez warned. "You don't seem to be the rookie you made yourself out to be, but let me assure you, that won't be his last attempt at an attack."

 

Saez walked up next to Axus, and took a step closer towards Eugene. "Kid, you're outnumbered, you're outmatched, give it up, it's okay." He didn't expect it to calm Eugene down, but at this point he was just doing all he could.

 

"Juno, see if you can finish off the remaining dark entities around here, I won't let this kid outta my sight until he's back to normal."

Eugene had used up all of his darkness during the two attacks especially the last one, so he fell to the ground and started to breath heavily. He wondered how he could have lost, how Axus had made it disappear as if it was nothing. All he wanted was to become stronger, and to never again have to be made fun of ever again, even if it meant turning to darkness.

"Of course, my liege." Juno bowed, trailing her weapon behind her as she rocketed toward the castle. She had seen some of the entities moving in this direction; the same direction the students had been fleeing. One of the dark entities was standing before the door, the frame already cracked and tattered. He was preparing to smash it in, but Juno's blade through his midsection was an effective deterrant. The figure dissolved into darkness, the Master scanning the courtyard from atop the steps. There didn't seem to be any more, and if they were they were most likely retreating at this point. She turned back to the doors, knocking on the with the butt of her Keyblade. She could hear the resounding knock knock knock from outside. "You can come out now. Nathan, are you in there?"

"Actually, I am a rookie. That was just a defensive magic that I created when I was young," Axus said as he smiled at Saez. "I am weak," He assured Saez.

"Ah yes my master" Nathan panted and dispelled his barrier. "That was close call" Nathan said and unsummoned his Rainfall. Nathan fell on his knees, because of exhaustion and said: "You can all come out now, it's safe" The students started to come out to courtyard one by one and panic started to relent.

"Stronger than most of the kids around here, so you've got that." Saez finally relented to a minor smile. The chaos was over.

 

He walked over slowly and knelt by Eugene. Eugene seemed to have used up a lot of hi energy with his attacks, Saez wasn't sure how he would have fared if not for the wielders putting in their defensive abilities on his part.

 

"You okay kid? You a good fighter, I'll give you that." Saez held out his hand to help Eugene up. "But you can't use darkness like that, you just can't. Here, can you stand?"

Axus decided that he wasn't needed at the time so he decided to sit on a chair and watched what was going on. Right now, this would be too easy. Lets have some fun, Axus thought to himself.

"Pretty weak huh?"

"Yea right, making that much magic disapear would take alot out of anyone but hes just standing there like it was nothing, that guy is hideing his true strength but why?

Chase said while watching Axus, then quickly turned away noticeing that the battle has stopped.

"Looks like all the dark weilders are gone and everyone is safe, but that Eugene guy gives keyblade weilders who use darkness a bad name he just lets his power rampage he needs to learn how to control it!"

Chase criticized.

"To learn how to control darkness means getting used to it. When you're used to darkness you can use darkness alot and soon master it," Axus said as he yawned.

Tch...for someone who supposedly is weak you sure know alot about the darkness!"

Chase questioned while folding his arms.

"But you do realize that your making yourself obvious by down playing you abilities i suspect i'm not the only one who questions your true power."

Chase told Axus while pointing to the king.

"I bet he knows exactly how strong you truly are!"

"I've been places and seen what darkness can do," Axus said as he smiled. "If you don't believe that I'm weak, then kill me," Axus said.

"Kill you!?"

"Sorry i'm not that type of guy why kill you if you have knowledge about the darkness I wish to gain from you."

Chase said while extending his hand out forming darkness.

"You see i'm just like you i've turned to the darkness and embraced it, but its not enough I need more power!"

Chase clinched his hand making the darkness scatter then disapear.

Axus laughed. "How do you know that I've embraced darkness? I only have knowledge of it. That doesn't mean that I've turned to it," Axus said.

"Easy i can smell on you,your drenched in darkness with no signs of light."

Chase smirked as he pointed to his nose

"So stop denying it you know it to be true!"

Chase barked while leaning on the courtyard's wall
