In the final battle between the thirteen xehanorts and the seven lights does there have to be exactly seven people fighting for the light or can there be more? e.g. Mickey, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Aqua, Ven and Lea, be what are technically the seven lights but then Roxas or Donald and Goofy can join in the fight too.

 

Also even if there have to be exactly seven lights that doesn't seem to prevent Lingering Will from joining in the fight as well seeing as he doesn't have a heart and therefore isn't technically on the side of light or dark. This last part seems especially plausible seeing as he seems to just be wandering around the Keyblade Graveyard looking for a chance to destroy Xehanort.

Indeed. I think that there will be more people then the 7 lights fighting, but in the end, the ones who truly defeat Xehanort are the 7 lights, i don't know how to explain exactly, but that's it.

Also, i never tought about the fact Lingering Will being neutral, not light nor dark, interesting.

But, what i really think, is that in the end, Terra will somehow appear, and they will discover he's the 7th light instead of Lea.

the seven lights are the princesses don't get confused...sora and co. are the guardians of light,but refered as lights for short ...maybe they may be more bcs donald and the others won't accept being left aside I guess
