is there really a point to the ar cards you get with the MoM edition?

You scan them in order to get dream eaters. You can also play with them in a Nintendogs like fashion.

 

Spot Pass is used as well, where you can battle the Dream Eaters with others.

Technically, you can unlock them in the game, but it's really hard to do so. The AR cards serve as a shortcut to getting them lol

They unlock hard to get Dream Eaters. They aren't exclusive, but they'll give you an advantage early on

I think the dream eaters from the cards get better stats then just making one

im not going to lie i hope they go back to regular party members the whole dream eater thing is a little odd to me.
