PS3 PS3 PS3!!!! Although it's more likely that it comes out on the ps3 anyways, due to work having already begun on the Crystal Tools engine, which is developed for the ps3.

PS3 games will still be made even a few years into the PS4s life. The PS4 will be BC most likely. KH doesn't need anything stronger than a PS3 to be realistic. So PS3 is a very safe bet even by 2015.

It will be released on the PS3, the next gen system are not ready to begin making games on, and I am pretty sure they have begun workin on KHIII

I heard Square Enix is fed up with Microsoft and Sony trying to keep this generation way too long. My guess is that it will be developed for Wii U, then ported to PS4 when the development kits arrive.

They need to stay exclusive to sony with there numbered titles.

You could have said the same thing with Final Fantasy and Nintendo, but Square and Nintendo had a falling out with the release of the N64. The rift between Square Enix and Nintendo has been mended with major releases occurring on Nintendo's consoles, but my previous post might suggest a new falling out between Sony and Square Enix. You can't deny that deciding to give the 3DS instead of the Vita a high quality Kingdom Hearts title does not imply anything.

It better be on PS3!

They wouldn't leap a generation lolz

I am not sure why they would be fed up with Sony keeping to this generation when the PS3 has barely been tapped into. Games are already too expensive to make, which is why they don't take many chances with games anymore. The PS4 is not needed and it's not like Square keeps up anyway (they take too long because they won't do things the easy way, and with minimal payoff). They have spent 6 years making a PS3 game, so why be upset about it? The Xbox is behind due to processing power and using DVDs, but graphically, they don't need another either. Just more discs. The WII U also shouldn't be any better to Square due to it not being any stronger than the PS3 in the graphics department. It's only stronger because it will and has to utilize 2 screens.

But KHIII should be on the PS3, but SE has to get their heads out of their asses and get Versus XIII released. Just because the PS4 will come out, doesn't mean PS3 games will stopped being developed.

PS4 the way things are going with the timeing and everything the ps3 will be a last generation console.

Who cares? It's a term. It's not like a KH game will do anything that will just push the PS3 to it's breaking point. There is no reason to do it on the PS4 that the Dev team would have to study to learn it's specs and learn how to work with it. And make a new engine to run on it. All that is avoided if doing it on the PS3, so it would save an exceptional amount of time and resources. Plus, many people wont have a PS4 by then, while many have a PS3 already.

You have a point there.Blu-ray discs have about 25 GB on them. Thats plenty of space for a KH game.

^ And many games don't use it. It's why the PS4 is not needed. It's basically just so they can sell another system for $600 and make some cash, while developers go even further under becouse games are too costly to make. That means we'll get more cookie cutter games, or more than we get already.

But anyway, yeah. It's very likely KHIII will be on the PS3 even after the PS4 comes out. Or atleast one of the current systems. (WII U included there)

Just to state a point here, the Wii U is on par with the current generation so it is as powerful as the PS3 (afaik graphic wise too) and the second screen has nothing to do with it. Correct me if I am wrong.

But I do not see KH III as a Wii U game due to SE sticking to Sony for numbered titles anyway.

It's gonna be moer powerful than the PS3 ( from what they say), but the power is going to be used rendering two screens. One of them wirelessly. And I did mention that the graphics will be no better than the PS3 (on par with).

Nintendo came to Square first for a KH game, and seeing as though the 3DS is a simple device, it made sense to Square since the Vita is like a little less powerful than PS3(which Square has not gone that route with KH yet).

I don't know the specifics on whether or not Square was approached by Nintendo to do KH for the 3DS. Even if they did, Square would not do it if they did not think it would sell well. Since I think it has, future KH number-quality titles will probably be headed for Nintendo systems.

tutti frutti. If KH3 is on any handheld/console other than the PS3, I'm walking away from the series for good.

Well I heard that this game was in development so lets hope to be on PS3!

If the PS4 comes out there will be still more new PS3 titles.

This is the 2nd time that Square was asked to make a KH game on a Nintendo handheld(first was by Disney for Days). I'm pretty sure they'd do it if they were asked, besides the Vita for what I mentioned previously. I agree with the last statement, but thats only if Square is still not developing on the Vita(which the 3DS would receive a COM, Days, Coded type game again).

Square is probably developing on Vita. They have developed on all platforms. I am thinking that they may not develop a KH for Vita after they release KH3. But back on topic, PS3 will probably go with KH3. The earliest KH3 could be announce would be TGS 2013. Sony will probably show the PS4 in some form at E3 2013 for a Holiday 2014 release. The real question is whether KH3 will make it to PS4.

Ok. If Disney ask Square for 356/2 Days on DS, they probably recognized the DS had the potential like the PS2 had with a large number of units sold. Square probably was not completely sold on it, which is why they outsourced some of the work to h.a.n.d. They must have been pleasently surprised, seeing as how they remade coded for the DS.

Ps3 is awesome and, not so expensive.

But, if Ps4 comes out it will be super expensive.

I mean It will be better graphics but, I need something I can afford though.

^ And graphics are just not important. They are good enough as it is for awile already take too long.

No, they haven't started working on it. FFXIII Versus (damn that game to hell) is still in development.

There are big announcements coming and it has been a while since anything about versus xiii has been said, I think it's almost done, and just because the game team is busy finishing that up there are other aspects to making a game, the sketches upon sketches of concepts the story boarding the writing!

I think it has entered the beginning stages of production so I am going to say one to two years till the game comes out, but I imagine we will start seeing things withing the next six months
